I've searched this forum for the answer to my dilemma and came up dry. I hope this not a redundant post.In following the tutorial, I am at the stage where I have the overhead panel active, and have gone through the start procedure. At the point where I am to close the overhead using the "MZ..." interface, the overhead does not close immedately. I can call the FMC, throttles, but cant close the window.When attempting to close it by clicking the right mouse button and selecting "close window", the overhead does indeed close down....however, I lose the 2D panel, such that the bottom half of the screen is black.Was there a fix for this I missed?My video card is GFX 5600 wit…

Well all I can say is W O W!!!! I love this aircraft. OK I'm having problems with my graphics at the mo - have streaks across my screen - but the aircraft is a dream. I've just made a circuit around TNCM and its taken my breath away. It flies how i'd expect it to fly. You guys have done a great job!! and I can't wait for the -800/900 as thats what I've been waiting for from the outset of this project.Only fustrating things i've found at the moment is the door/cargo door thingy, I still can't get them to open. Have spent many hours trying to create SID/STARs for Luton. LAst night I got rid of all the FMC errors so this evening checked out what I had created in the ND....arghhhhhhAm I correct in thinking that the 737NG gets all its data from the FMCWP directory?If so is there a known problem with the ND sometimes displaying navaids in the wrong place?I ask because Luton relies on the LUT NDB for most of its procedures.This NDB was missing from the navdata until Richard released V2 of 0309, it now in the list and looking at the LAT/LON appears to be accurately placed.However if I slew the a/c to over LUT as shown on FSNav the ND shows LUT is still about 17ml off and about 15 degr…

I would like to swap the displays in Z mode to put the primary flight display center, and the nav display on the left. Can someone give me the skinny on edits in the panel file to do this. Not a lot of experience here - thanks for your help.Colin

Hello there guys,I would like to buy the PMDG 737 and would like to have a detail about something I read on Flightsim.comIn their review they mentioned, if I don't get wrong, that the various view of the displays (pfd and so on) are not movable and are stuck in the middle covering the outside view. Is it through?I fly with PSS A320 and the instruments view are detachable and movable right were one would like them to be. I have been reading the other threads on missing nav data and last night I flew from KORD to KATL and when I was inputing flight data into the fmc at KORD and pushed the arrival dep page and hit arrivals under KATL no runways or stars were showing up.I went into the sidstar folder in PMDG and looked under KATL and they are listed.I can't figure out why they aren't showing up.I was hoping someone had a idea?I am using navdata 0309 JeffG

1. There seems to be a set of contrails from each aircraft that run along the ground, a sort of "shadow", while I was cruising at FL350 I thought an airplane was just way below me on the ground because the contrails were basically the same place as mine but much lower, until I noticed this on most other planes passing me by... how did this happen? (This is probably a problem with the game itself and not the add-on but if anyone knows of how to fix it I'd like to know!)2. I just downloaded and in installed your latest sid/star and air cyl files. When ever I input KSTL on the route page I get Err 35 runway unknown. I see the file for KSTL in the PMDGsid star folder. Why won't FMC read it??Bill M

Hi All, Has any one experienced that the spoilers have refused to stow after deploying them as prompted by the FMC? It happened to me yesterday on a flight where no matter how I positioned my spoiler lever the spoilers would not retract. Has anyone experienced that phenomenon? Also, I noticed that I don't ever get the "RESET MCP ALT" after patching to 1.1. I am patiently waiting for the message as the airplane approaches the T/D symbol on the ND, but my understanding is that is that the message should show it self as much as 3 minutes prior to reaching the decent point (this time I have checked that I am in LNAV and VNAV with all parameters put into the FMC).With thanks i…

All of a sudden I have this red transparent shadow on course, ias, heading, altitude and vertical speed windows. I enclosed a picture. Any ideas on this?Mike M.KDFW

The tutorial created by Fred Clausen, and it seems to work on everything except my approach. 1. The airplane did not decend far enough away from KLAX2. The airplane once capturing the glideslope stayed to the right of the runway the entire time, wanting to land straight towards the gates instead of on the runway which was parallel to my path.What did i do wrong? I followed the step by step instructions from the start, why didn't the airplane correctly capture the glideslope and stay on line with it?

Hello,there is something strange with my 2-d overhead panel. The only one switch I can click on is the "Panel Bright" one in the center of the panel. If I roll over all the other knobs and switches, the mouse pointer does not change to the hand symbol.Is there someone who can help me out please. I am creating a route with the FMC, everything is put in (I'm pretty sure) but when I get to the takeoff page, and select what flaps I want, the V1, V2, and V3 speeds do NOT get entered. What am I doing wrong which causes them to not enter? I thought I went through everything else and set it up correctly!

I love this 737, but I am having 2 problems with it right now:1) I can not get the left engine to start. I have seen a couple of topics here on this issue, but I have been unable to resolve it. I have followed the checklist many times, and I am reasonably sure that all of the switched are in the right position. I have the 1.1 SU installed. Any ideas?2) I can't seem to figure out the proper settings for the hydrolics systems. If I turn on ENG 1 and 2 hydrolics, the pressure redlines as soon as I increase the throttle at all. If I turn off the ENG 1/2 switches, the fault panel lights up a hydrolic warning that stays on through the whole flight. What are the proper …

Howdy folks,I was setting up the FMC for a short little hop from Houston (KIAH) to Austin, TX (KAUS). After setting up all the initial information I moved on to the flight plan. After entering the origin in the route page I received an error which basically stated: "KIAH error: 26 rwy unknown". I'm also receiveing this at a few other airports around the US as well. Hi allJust installed my brand new FS9 French version and at the start I have a message indications FS9 didn't load PMDGOptions.dll program. I tried to load the plane and while he was loading, I get a strange message box :Tittle of the box : Mag Var InitMessage : Cannot find MS Flight Simulator Registry Tree. Good evening.I have made a complete install of FS9.I used the removal program for 737.I installed original 737 version.I installed the 737 patch version.When I open FS9 and I change the aircraft for PMDG 737 and click OKI have a popup windows which says:PMDGOptionRegistry settings have been tampered withOKI tried several times to un-install/re-install but always the same.
