Hi,I have a problem with the Update 1-1:After I apply the update, my gauges look like:PMDG_~11.GAUI can find the names of the gauges if I look into the binaries. Of cause, the main panel and the OH panel is not working. I cannot use the switches. All of them !If I backup the old ones, and copy them back after applying the patch, I can use the switches. Of cause, I can only use the old ones and that is not the intended use of a patch upgrade:why are the gauges names look like this ?It seems that there is a problem with the upgrade installer ?System: fs9 german version (c:programmemicrosoft games.....), 512 MB main memory. I just taught myself the basics of the FMC, and want to land with it. But I have a few questions:How do I turn the FMC back on to navigate after getting instructions from the ATC to line up with the glideslope?How do I change the ILS settings if I get a different runway than what I first programmed?Thanks in advance!-Alex Epstein

Hi,PMDG 737tng will not allow FSNavigator to control the auto pilot and fly the fsnav flight plan.It operates the default 737-400 okay.I am using FS9 with FSNavigator ver. 4.6Flight plan loaded in FSNavigatorPrior to take-off, I set the following:FD = onAuto throttle set.Heading = runway headingSpeed = 170 KnotsAlt =5000'After take-off and above 400' AGL I hit the Auto pilot button followed by the Speed and altitude buttons. I then press F9 for the FSNav screen then press the Fly FP button.FSNav gives the audible signal when it reaches a waypoint but will not follow either the track or altitude.I have to manage the settings manualy.I have not opened / initialis…

Today I've experienced a rather interesting situation:when trying to start my 737, the engines didn't spool up after I put the engine start levers to idle....I don't know what I did wrong, since I always start the 737 from cold & dark.Then I found out that if had the engine start levers at idle and put them to cutoff after switching on the engine start switch on the overhead-panel, the engines spooled up normally...Right now I'm cruising over Europe with the engine start levers at cutoff...(see the attachement).How is this possible?regards,Joerg

Hello all,I'm back to flying around with FS9 and the PMDG with/out VC on my relatively poor PC is great in performance.I have only realized that unlike in FS2002, when I pass over the marker beacons on approach, they illuminate on the PFD, but there's no sound coming. I guess I have to activate them first on a default plane via radio stack.I wanted to know if there's a string in the fs9.CFG file that can be added or modified to have the marker sounds on by default.Another sound missing, that I'm sure is probably known, is the GPWS 2500ft call-out.Thanks for any eventual help.Regards,Bjorn

Hi,When using the spoiler I hear the wind sound. However when retracting the spoiler again, the wind sound stays on. Anyone else noticed this?Egbert

Just a quick heads up that ATI have posted new Radeon drivers. However it has no mention of FS2004 in the " fixed list ", so I will have to wait for the download to complete, then find out if there is any improvement in the flickering for us 9700/9800 users.Paul ( SPIM )

I'm about 40 pages into my advanced tutorial, and we've just gotten to the point where the FMC preflight is done.I hope to finish the first draft tomorrow, and would like some people to review the tutorial.Even before I finish, I wouldn't mind a couple of opinions on content and layout, to be sure I'm not too far off track.If you're interested, send me a private e-mail at [email protected]

Hi, PMDG737 flyers...There is not a STAR for my destination airport, so, I want to use a procedure for the arrival that includes a "VOR DME ARC" segment, a couple of waypoints, to finally intercept the ILS LOC.Is it possible to fly a "VOR DME ARC" with the FMC? If so, what have I to do, to add a "VOR DME ARC" as part of my route?I want not replace the STAR with a "Instrument Aproach and Landing" procedure (I know this works not so). Hi all,On loading the LAM4M SID for EGKK for my flight to Manchester I noticed the SID appeared to have a "kink" in it. At first I thought it might just be a display anomaly but after flying the SID it definitely isn't. Hi PMDG and all,I have just finished a flight from Manchester (EGCC) down to London Gatwick (EGKK) and have some concerns about how well the FMC is able to control the vertical aspect of the flight-plan during the departure phase of what is admittedly quite a complex SID.Three images are attached. The first shows the FMC plan. As can be seen speed restraints have been assigned to the first few waypoints. The second shot shows the route as shown on the ND. Hi, all.Are there any limitations (real world or otherwise) on a pilot- created waypoint with the format "WAYPT/-NM"?Flying from Narsarsuaq (BGBW) Greenland to Keflavik (Iceland), I had a shortage of waypoints, so I had to manually create some. Hello,First off all, im new on this board :-)2nd I've a weird problem with my 737 NG.Today I was trying to make a flight from EGLL to EHAM.I did entered the correct information in the FMC but when is looked in my map i didn't saw the runway. I zoomed out and i think the runway was about 10/20 NM out of EGLL. Im sure it was EGLL in the sim AND in the FMC. I took off heading for DVR And i saw the same problem. I think the coordinates aren't correctly with the FS9 coordinates? Is that possible? I installed the both patches (SU 1-1) and i have the new AIRAC circle installed.
