A few weeks back there was a file in the library that reduced the volume of the GPWS callouts on the 737. I have done a search for them but cannot find them, can anyone remember the file name of it? I have tried doing a search of the library but they dont show up. Any ideas?Thanks in advanceRichard

Firstly, thanks for a terrific tutorial - easy to follow and very educational.I've noticed from the printout pictures on the tutorial that the horizontal bars in the middle of the artificial horizon (PFD?) are different to the ones showing on my version. Yours look a little like wings, whereas mine look like inverted book-ends.What version of the panel are you using or have you changed the gauge? Ok, I've tried and I've failed and I'm not an expert, but I need help.I've repainted the 737-700 in Photoshp 7 and have failed to make it visible in FS2004.Personally, I think the problem basically resides in Photoshop because I know I'm doing something wrong.Can anybody give me the simplest/easiest/ step by step process of how to create repaints for PMDG only, using Photoshop 7 and how to load in FS2004? Hi all,Something is puzzling me. I recently upgraded my hardware from a Geforce 4 MX420 to a Radeon 9800 Pro and FS has been transformed. I have nearly everything at max, 100% clouds with 4x Anti-Aliasing and 8x Anisotropic filtering and my frame rate never falls below 20 (which it's locked at).However with the PMDG 737 the main panel brings things down to a crawl, with stutters and frame rates between 10 and 15. I've tried AA and Ansio off and the tips on the main forum with no success. The 9800 pro gives me 20fps constant with lots of room to spare so I think it should handle the 737 panel...complex as it is.Can anyone offer any tips?Eoin.Athlon XP 2000+K7S5A ECO mobo51…

Hello everyone.I bought your great product 737NG and when I was messing arounf with the new "toy" I tried to do some circuits to see how the systems performed. I followed the mini-tutorials for quick familiarization and tried to fly a full ILS. First a normal ILS and second a full CATIII autoland. The first approach was ok but in the second, about half way of the ILS path (both LOC and GS locked), the aircraft just begun to drift away to the left of the localizer. And if I enter a certain waypoint, it gives me a list of a few waypoints and I have absolutely no idea which one to select. There are sometimes a few that are VOR waypoints, and I thought the top one was always the correct one, but I found out by programming a route that it isn't true!So can anyone tell me a simple way of understanding which waypoint to select when there are multiple ones?

In PS1 one usually (always?) enter the arrival airport as the last waypoint in the route. Prior to descent when one chooses a runway and STAR the airport waypoint is automatically changed into the correct waypoints for whatever runway one chose. Is this something that can/should be done in the B737NG FMC, or is it more "modern" and uses the ARR airport from the RTE page for it

I have just been trying to create a route LEPA-EGGW in the FMC.The basic route saves OK. I have created the SIDs I need for LEPA and after much fiddling I do not get any line errors showing in the FMC.I have also created the STARs I need for EGGW and again got no errors showing in the FMC.I can load the basic route via the Co Route LSK and can activate and execute it, I can also select my STAR for EGGW, activate and execute it. A while ago I saw a post indicating that spoilers were not always deployed on touchdown even if armed; and I've noted the same thing myself. I've figured this behavior out, tho, and how to get them to work 100% of the time.If you set the speed brakes up ("/") on descent for drag to maintain a path descent, you must put them fully down ("/" again) before arming for touchdown ("shf-/"). Verify this by looking at the throttle panel.If you put them up for drag and then arm them directly from the up position without first putting them down, the lever appears in the armed position and the "speed brake armed" indicator indicates that they are armed, but when you touch down the l…

Was wondering why I am not getting the airline name when using the ATC. I am just getting the flight number. I have used Edit Voice Pack to ensure that all the updated names are there but FS still just uses flight numbers. ThanksBruce HUNTER

does anyone know what is course which is located on the top left pannel? when i first loaded the aircraft, the course showed "000". also when do the approach and landing, do we need to set the course that is related to the particular airport?thanks in advance

There is an app that restores the original Volume ID of the HD partition (VolID). Does this still require re-registration of the NG product?Thanks,Bruce.

Hi, folks-I've used Continental's 737-700 performance data along with performance tests to create detailed performance data files (including takeoff/landing data) for FSBuild2. Has anyone had the problem of the HDG SEL not working if the FMC is not programed at all?I flew a VFR flight the other night in FS2002 on Windows 2000 pro and once a took off and tried to set a HDG the plane did not move.Could someone else check this out for me please?Thanks,Travis
