I Can not get the Passenger and Cargo weight to record in FlightTracker Ver 7.0.4 is this a problem with FlightTracker or PMDG 737? I have set up number of passengers and cargo in Load Manager out this information does not appear in Flight Tracker. Ps FlightTracker works fine with DF737.Any suggestions.Andrew.

Hi Folks,I saw a similar post a week or so back with no resolution.I have 737TNG installed in FS2004 together with a couple of livery options; EasyJet & Astrojet. All running under Windows XP Pro.Unless a 737TNG variant is the very first airplane I select when firing up FS2004, I get a crash to desktop almost immediately upon selecting the 'Fly Now!' button. I can change to any other aircraft and fly OK but no going back to 737TNG without a machine reboot. Before I start selectively removing the install I thought I'd check if there was any assistance available from you knowledgeable souls.Cheers in advance for any help.Jools.

I cannot get the speed to be maintained by the IAS speed set control.Nothing illuminates when I select the nearby switch, perhaps it shouldnt. I dont know,Incidently only one of the displays can be resized. Th left one (thank god) but why cannot the right hand one be. I thought it should have because the idea I guess is to place it on a seperate monitor. Is there a document on this thing anywhere to answer these questions so I dont have to bother people again?Kind regardsto allNigel Smith

Last Night I took my NG on the longest flight yet.Continental Delivery from KBFI to KORD.It was a 3.7 hour flight and I was using ActiveSky1.9. I had two problems, one I had was in the APP phase, FPS began to go down in the toilet as they went from 15-17 avg to 8-10 below 5000ft. I dont want to be critical again but I took my CaptianSim off at KCDI and flew the JNVL4 arrival landing on ILS14L at ORD with out dipping below 15FP the entire way.It does this without ActiveWX loaded to.The second problem was when I hit the IAP the aircraft began to climb and the VNAV disengaged(yes I have the 1.1 update). Is there any thing we can do with the fps drop on APP.One more question.…

Just downloaded new 737. Am I the only one who finds it difficult to read the instrument panel? The numbers are very difficult to read on the autopilot. The zeros look like solid blocks.I have a good monitor: 21" Iiyama 501, GeForce3 Ti500 graphics card. I'm using 1024x768x32, but increased to higher resolutions with no imporvement in the clarity. Can I be doing something wrong?I have a link to 2 jpgs showing the difference between the standard 737 included with FS2004 and comparing to the PMDG.Any help out there??Thanks,TJ

I understand the current verions of the NG FMC does not model the cost index function. Is this planned to be modeled in future versions. I really like to play iwth to see how the speed recommendation varies.Mike K

So there she sits on the tarmac, my beautiful 737-700, and it's a cold, dark, morning. I walk out there... and no stairs, the door is closed... and I'm 6ft below the door handle....Seriously, folks, in this situation how do you get in to be able to start the cold, dark, cockpit process? How do you get the steps down and the door opened? I'm talking reality, here.Just curious! - Pete

I have tried this tweak for FS9 and have noticed the single best tweak so far for FS9. I am able to turn up my sliders without a preformance hit like before. Try it out and see! http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...id=143032&page=What you will need to do is through windows explorer locate you FS9 folder. Right click on the FOLDER and choose properties. Then choose ADVANCED. Under *COMPRESS OR ENCRRYPT ATTRIBUTES* check the box that says *COMPRESS CONTENTS TO SAVE DISK SPACE*. It will take some time depending on your system etc, mine took 14 minutes. I really did not expect any change but was so impressed I thought I would post ;)[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithh…

CaptainsHouston, we have a problemThe French and Spanish Language version of FS9 shipped with a different software version structure than the non-French versions so we are releasing the follow "temporary fix" until our next scheduled SERVICE UPDATE.Go to this page: http://www.precisionmanuals.com/PAGES/737support.htmAnd download the REMOVE TOOL and the Service Update1-1.1) Run the remove tool on your FS9 737NG installation.2) Reinstall the release version of the 737.3) Run the Service Update1-1. NOTE: The SU1-1 will present you with a menu from which you need to tell it whether you are installing for FS2002 or FS9. Failure to select one of these two options will cause t…

Ya know, I was complianing 2 weeks ago about how my flights from KPSP to KLAX with the PDZ4 arrival was causing the FMC to disconnect either because of overspeed or unable next altitude, blah, blah, blah... And I got some very officious responses about the constraints were causing the disconnect and this and that, blah, blah, blah...Well Mr Merton asked me to send him detailed info on my flights, and I did, asking him to reply to me as to his results. Nada, Nada, Nada from him.... but you know that isn't the point to my post....Guess what?? I fire up FS2002 and get into my trusty DF737 and fly the exact flight and arrival, and the FMC handles it, no problems....And of cou…

Well, i did one of my scheduled hops from EGKK to EDDF in the 737-600 and when i tried to enter a waypoint after the RWY for a missed approach procedure, the FMC came up with PROGRAM ERROR and i had to fly the rest of this leg halfmanually, because also the Autopilot itself was not responding properly, anyways, landed ok and wanted to ask if something like this has been mentioned before? Thanks in advanceHolgerEDDK

Hi,I have read and replied to a number of posts requesting Sids and stars. It seems that there is a need for a more comprehensive database. Therefore I suggest to make available my own database of Sids, Stars and Apps which I created using Terry's converter. The database consists of 1021 airports and was originally compiled for PIC 767. It was converted to PMDG format using the latest conversion program of Terry and the latest available navaids database. However some Sids and Stars have not been updated to the latest Jeppesen modifications, this is a long manual cross-checking process which is still in the work. To make a long story short the database works with the curre…

Why do some carriers have them and some do not? It seems to me that for the price of a new 737NG the cost of winglets would be nominal and worth the increased efficiency? Any thoughts?

I've got a problem with the electrical power when engines are switched off.I can't get the APU or the Ground Power to supply the Flight Displays and the FMC with power.I start the APU after landing and at the gate I switch to APU Gen before I shut down the engines. Some minutes later the battery is empty and the Displays and the FMC stop working. Whichever switch on the Bat panel I switch...I don't get any electrical power for the FMC a.s.o. ...
