Gents, I am able to find most the charts I need for approaches and departures from a site I found. I am interested in finding out what chart you get for all these airways in the sky. I have FSBuild and I can read the routes it chooses and go with that but I would like to get paper charts of the US and Europe which show all these airways. Is what I am looking for called a High-IFR Chart? Could the more experienced guys let me know an affordable option? Thanks,Mike

Hi guys!I was wondering if anyone was intrested in getting the gates for the FMC? I know until the IRS system gets installed they don't really do much, but if theres enough intrest from everyone i'll compile all the gate positions and put them into the SIDSTAR database. I've already started (ive done about 10 airport) but I thought I may aswell ask to see how much intrest there is before I go ahead and do the rest of the airports. So let me know in this thread if your intrested in me doing it and if theres enough intrest then i'll do it!Happy Flying!

Helllllo ! :)Ok Firstly I just neeed to say that this PMDG aircraft is fantastic. However I seem to have a few problems. What program can I use to either save or transfer a flight plan across to the PMDG folder so that when I load the FMC up I simply have to click which plan I want and heyy presto. I own a copy of FSNAV but im not sure if you can transfer any of the saved plans into the PMDG/FMC folder so that they appear on the map display ?Last but not least Ive installed the nav data ie the most current one 1309 or something plus a file from the PMDG site for sids/stars however most of my flying is done within Europe and theres bairly a handful of airports with sids/st…

Hi All,Does anyone know how to add the 'in-panel' servinfo gauge to the PMDG panel in FS9 ?I am having trouble saving it to the panel in the normal way ? Is there something stopping the panel .cfg being amended ? I thought that it produced a new panel .cfg with the servinfo gauge on and kept the original incase you wished to return to it ?Await your replysPHIL

I have made this decision due many positive mails from all over the world (PMDG and none PMDG user). I saw that i can

Wow, I just discovered and purchased your very fine product. I am a huge Dreamfleet and PSS fan and now have been blown away by your stunning visuals. I am particularly impressed by the night visuals on your VC AND by the engine sounds, both in and out of the cockpit. IMHO, poor sounds completely ruin any product, and PMDG's sounds are outstanding!! Thanks much!!........it was VERY easy to plunk down my $$ for your product. Randy Jura, KPDX

Ok Slowly but surely ill get there ,Fist question ...Once I have entered eg egll as a departure airport and then egpfthe arrival airport both show up the correct airports. I then auto generate the route and lovely jubbly there is a nice route. I then change the FLIGHT PLAN box to say eglltoegpf. Hopefully this means that when I press the build button it will be saved in the PMDG flight plans folder as that and therefore... when I go to insert this into the FMC CO ROUTE LSK it should come up.However when it goes to build the flight plan it comes up with this error. see file attatched. It says error couldnt not create flight plan eglltoegpf.rte or something. I nearly thoug…

There is no DIR on the FMC so if I want to skip the next waypoint I thought it would be just a case of putting the one that I wish to go to in the scratch pad and then placing it next in the list. That didnt work :( What happend was that it just adds it to the plan and the aircraft flies round in circles - Honest guv, it's not my navigation :)Anyone know how to set this so it flies to a waypoint, that is two or three ahead of the one indicated on the FMC plesae let me know.Kind regardsNigel Thomas-Smith

Hi guys!!Just to say I truly admire the level of realism you have set with your 737 airlines. I am considering to buy this great product, but I wish to know, if the 737 is compatible with Windows 2000 Proffesional. I read on some other forums that Windows 2000 users get a message "Flight Simulator can`t read 3rd party gauge etc... PMDG_737_Main" or something like that, in FS2002 and in FS2004.Please help,ThanksPedjaJAT Airways

Everyone,I'm creating audio checklists for the 737 to be played via FS2004's built in web browser. The only thing I need to complete the job is a copy of the 737 NG's Abnormal Checklist/Procedures, which aren't included in the PMDG documentation. If someone has a copy of that would you please send it to me so I can create audio checklists from it.Also, I'm also going to need some beta testers, as it won't take me long to finish my checklists. They can be made very quickly. If you're interested, email me. I only need about 10 guys; if possible, I'd like to get some real world NG drivers to double check some of the little details.Cheers,Bryanemail: [email protected].…

Can't help thinking that the real 737 has trouble staying in the air.... It has so many bits and pieces* added on to help it falling out of the sky... Just noticed some additional vortex generators on the leading edge of this -800... Can't recall seeing them on the Old Gen aircraft.http://members.ozemail.com.au/~b744er/737/737800LE.jpgJust wondering if those holes in the leading edge are also designed for assisting with lift properties :-) Cheers.Ian.*Chines, winglets, vortex generators, etc....

Hi all,This message will be posted on both PMDG and PIC forums. Many of you have experienced missing runways or even missing airports in the last Airinc 09 cycle. Richard Stefan, the creator and publisher of Navdata has given me the authorization to make available a modified wpNavAPT TXT file which now includes 18,709 runways worldwide instead of the 10,557 which were included in the same file of Airinc 09. Although there may be still some missing runways, the new file captures even more runways than those contained in the Airinc 08 (about 2,500 more). It should be noted that this new file will not - I repeat will not - make up for deficient or inaccurate Sids and Stars fi…

First let me say I love this plane, and I can't wait for future add-ons.Now, I've decided to fly my approaches visually using the FMC and ILS indicators as reference for my path. Now when I get about 15 NM out from the airport I disengage the A/T and manually maintain my speed. From what I've read at different places, they say that about 6 NM out you should be at flaps 15 and make sure the gear is down, along with auto-brake and speed-brake armed. Then cycle through to flaps 30 as speed permits. The final should then be around Vref + 5 to land. The problem is that I seem to fall short or stall (A/P is also disengaged by now). It seems as though the Vref is really to…

Hi All,Like many others last night, I went tooling around DC ARTCC to experience the winds from hurricane Isabel.Autoland worked perfectly on the two approaches I shot - KRDU & KORF, despite gusts up to 60 mph.In fact, I fooishly disconnected the AP at 100ft going into KRDU with a 90deg 40 mph crosswind and had an ...er interesting touchdown with full left rudder to keep straight.I 'trusted' autoland on the approach into KORF, and the system tracked perfectly all the way down despite the appalling winds. Many thanks, PMDG.

I was quite happily flying into Glasgow today when I got the message runways unknow - or something similar for my destination airport of Glasgow (The UK one EGPF)I have the latest AIRAC installed but I now assume that is an update of a main and much larger database. How and where can I get it - If indeed there is a database for this thing andCan I check I have the most COMPLETE, read complete, and NOT necessarily up to date one. I know to be up to date is good. But it is better to have one that is old than not to have one atall. The runways and ILS guidances all showed up but the FMC should allow me to set the destination runway - not much use else is it :)
