Can someone tell me if there are any keyboard commands for the MASTER CAUTION and FIRE WARNING buttons on the PMDG 737 panel? If not, can someone tell me any way of accessing these buttons via anything other than the mouse? I am a cockpit builder and do not have the PMDG panel visible on my out-the-window display. I need some way of accessing these buttons without bringing up the main panel window, so that I can reset these warnings when they activate my lights. Thanks!John :-luke

Hi,After realizing I did something fundamentally wrong, I will change it...- Approach transitions will go in approaches, and out of stars- Dependency info between stars and approaches / runway will get zappedI will post an updated version when there.Sorry for any inconvenient...cheersanthonyAnthony MertonPrecision Manuals Developmenthttp://www.precisionmanuals.com

Can we talk about the Virtual Cockpit please? I think the view needs to be tweaked so that I can see out in front of me where I'm going so that I can land and fly VFR from it.There is a certain Boeing 727 sim from a certain Captain that I would suggest was the best VC ever made yet for FS2004. Any chance on incorporating some of those goodies on over into our NG 73's?There, was that so hard to say?:-wave

Hey guys -I still am having FMC problems. I finally moved all my FS2002 navdata folder over to FS9, but that didn't solve all the problems.. I am able to finally enter an airport id in the REF: line, but I eventually get crazy FMC error messages... I don't think the FS2002 folder move was the right thing to do.. Where should this data have come from in the first place? It was never installed by default in my FS9 directory... Anyway, if someone could send me the files in their navdata directory, it would be greatly appreciated! Unless there is a better suggestion. Thanks! My email address is [email protected]!

Here's how to add default FS2004 icons to the top right hand corner of your FMC, Radio and Throttle Panels so that you can close them directly via a simple left mouse click. It's a lot more convenient than having to right click and select close, or clicking on the shortcuts icon on the main panel, which can sometimes be obscured. **Do this at your own risk** It works for me.Back up your 737-700 panel.cfg file first to be safe! You'll need to change the "ident" line and add a line of code to each of the following sections in your 737-700 panel.cfg file. Both lines in each section that require a change or addition are marked by an arrow (800,600position=8visible=0Backgro…

  14. Gents; I just spent a frustrating couple of hours trying to resolve why my PMDG 737-700 bobs up and down like Rocky in a prize fight. I fired up AFSD, and it told me my CG was something like -43% MAC. Huh? YGTBSM! Sure enough, the PMDG loader put the entire payload at 0,0,0, which in most sims is OK, but in the PMDG 737 that point is at the reference datum, which PMDG have located some 52 ft forward of the standard MSFS 1/4 chord reference point. In other words, the PMDG loader is piling the entire payload weight right at the tip of the nose. Not good. If you edit your station_load.0 so that the first coordinate (second numeric parameter) is the same as the CG (i.…

Today I took a 2002 (still smelled new) 172R up to RDG and dropped in on the AVSIM conference. Got to shoot the ILS in actual IMC to about 800 AGL, which was fun since I decided to practice partial panel and only had the turn coordinator for a gyro.I was blown away by the state of the art in hardware, with some truly amazing controls by GoFlight and a $2000 MCP and cockpit shell set up for use with Project Magenta. On the way back, though, I found myself musing - what we get from the PMDG NG for $40 is a hell of a bargain (that does NOT mean you should charge more, guys). I added up what I'd like to put in my house:GoFlight hardware for everything except the EFIS and MCP…

G'day GuysI did an interesting flight tonight with some unusual results in terms of some strange numbers coming up on the FMC calculation side of things. The flight was from Sydney YSSY to Darwin YPDN a flight of just over 1700nm in length.Loaded up the 700 w/winglets to MZFW which meant doing the run at absolute min fuel.Planned to arrive in Darwing with just over 2000Lb left in the tanks.I took these two screenies en route to point out a couple of things which i do not think have been mentioned around the board. The primary concern i had was the innacurate fuel calculations which the FMC is generating and whether everyone else is having the same problems..Both the screens…

Hello,is anybody else experiencing heavy problems with the autopilot when simulation rate is higher than normal ?My autopilot is sometimes 'missing' waypoints, missing T/C or T/D points => not cruising / descending and sometimes starts to pull the nose up and down. This is a little disturbing during longer flights that include leaving the pc alone for some time... ;-)

thanks for clicking on my annoying thread name (sorry).OK im a bit of a beginner with the PMDG 737, but i've been flying on the PC for a long time...I have FS2004. I dont think I've encountered this problem before...:Whenever I disengage the autothrottle, my joystick throttle then only controls the left engine.. If i press and hold E then 2, my throttle will control engine #2, but if I press and hold E then 1 then 2, it wont control both engines, like it does on the default aircraft. No matter what key presses I try, I cant get my joystick throttle to control both engines again... its damn annoying!I'm probably missing something really obvious, I dunno, but I had to ask..…

Hi I have read the earlier posts of the problem I have. My problem is that during instalation the program wants me to put in disc 2 in floppydrive. The hint was to download the files at diffrent locations. What does that mean? Is it not possible to download the files from a friend with highspeed internet thou I only have a modem conection and burn them and bring the files to my home. Thanks for your help.Josef.

Hallo,I know, this problem was discussed here many times. But now, I have this message in the FMC during climb and I haven't found an answer, which satisfied me. I flight the 737-700 and setup the FMC from EDDV to EDDT. I import a flightplan made in FSBUILD. Befor I start the FS, I made with loadmanager the weights. ZFW is about 118.000 lbs. Is it too much? Then I start and climb and suddenly the VNAV is out and in the FMC I can see: unable crz alt and the speeds and altitudes-fields are empty. What can I do?Regards Kai
