Guys,In picture 1, I'm parked at night with the panel lights off.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/34459.jpgIn picture 2, all I've done is clicked on the icon to turn on the panel light.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/34460.jpgnotice that the fuel crossfeed lever has turned on, but the valve light is off. I've checked and clicking on the knob makes it go back to the "closed" position and turns the valve light on.Kind of weird, huh?

Hello,How can I import an FS Flightplan into the PMDG FMC???ThanksUwe

Greetings.1. Whenever I set a pax/cargo load with the PMDG Load Manager and save, it is reset (all to zero) the next time I run it. What could be causing this? I have the correct version (FS9) installed.Guess I have to keep flying an empty aircraft for now... 2. When (if) I get the Load Manager working, does it adjust the values in the FS Fuel & Payload manager, or do I have to adjust that as well?Thanks,Bj

My fellow captains,Today I was flying from BWI to ALB, and was cruising at FL330.I had only one altitude constraint in the flight plan, the initial approach fix for runway 1 (Cirru) at 2500. Hi guy's (and gal's?)I have emailed PMDG direct however I wanted to know if anyone else has this problem, or maybe I'm doing something wrong :( (perish the thought!). After flying under AutoPilot I have changed my heading dial to a manual setting then pressed the HDG SEL button and the aircraft sits still !!Isn't the aircraft supposed to turn to my selected heading????only problem I have found since SU1.1 (except for fuel imbalance, and the odd SID/STAR problem)Cheers,BIG T (Travis Waycott)Brisbane, Australia (check the Atlas)P.S. My 737 is version 1.01--says July 25, 2003 as the date. I install both the full and lite version of the patch. when I install full-I get an unregistered error, and it doesnt work. Even though my plane is registered? Thanks a ton! My VNAV isnt working either, actually the autopilots vertical and speed modes dont work, I have a feeling thats b/c of not having the latest patch? Anyideas? I needed to reinstall the 737--so i ran the uninstall tool, and then reinsttalled from scratch. I clicked register, and it said thx for registeredg its now registered.

My local NDB is CAM 332.5Now, in the real world 332 is close enough, but MSFS insists that it has to be 332.5 or it doesn't work.Question: How do I tune 332.5 on the radio panel in this fantastic bird?Alternatively, can I change the NDB frequency within MSFS so that I can tune it? I am on approach to 35L KDFW. I have the ILS runway tuned to both radios, but I cannot get the correct ILS localizer ID to show up. I get the another localizer IJMZ174 instead of IUWX354. See attachments. I have flown into Dallas many times and although I have had other problems ;( , this has not been one of them. I am running FS2002 and FS9 (I have the same problem in both) with the latest patch. Maybe someone else can fly this approach and see if they fair better.I am really enjoying the sim, even with the issues it currently has. This is shaping up to be a classic keeper.Thanks,Mike M.KDFW

I installed mini SU 1.1, and the Navdata, put in a little course and flew it, life was good! I had intersections, SIDS, STARS, all that jive!! However, whenI tried to do it a second time after closinfg FS9 and rebooting my machine and every time I put in the same oute from the same airport, I get a "not in database" message in the FMC CDU. I tried re-installing the SU and Navdata, no joy! Anyone have any thoughts?P.S. Randy Smith: Thanks for answering my question. Well after I geuss a weekend of nonstop blabbering about my NG Woes I must say thanks to Paul for suggesting I reremove my NG install in my FS 9 folder and redownload a new set(3)of base installers and reinstall and reaply the SU1.1 update.Well that seem to take care of quite of few issues for me my only problems now seem to be consistant fuel warnings with 1/2 full tanks, a few SIDSTARS that need ammending and YES!!!!!...FRAMERATES.I get great framerates in the spot plane view and when cruz-ing at FL 240 and above but on takeoff/landing and below FL240 my framerates dip below 14 FPS I am only using the 2D cockpit view.When my framerates are good they are 20-24 FPS and on…

The title of the topic describes it all.This morning I decided that today I was going to be patient and start all over from scratch at trying to get the NG running as smooth as possible.I downloded the remove tool and directed it to my FS9 folder and pressed the start button and WAHLA!!!!!...all of the NG folders and content were GONE.I then rebooted my pc and reinstalled the NG back to my FS9 folder rebooted and then applied the SP1.1 to it and added back my SIDSTAR DATA and rebooted........Loaded FGS9 and the NG then choose to depart KGEG rny 3.......WELL!!!!!!...the NG accelerated nicely but when I went to rotate to 8dgrs and was 200 ft off the NG stalled and hit the g…

A small point that in no way diminishes the huge amount of fun I'm now having with this after the latest patch, but I've noticed that the time given for the T/D on the crz page sometimes is not right and doesn't match that given for a nearby waypoint on the Prog page, or even the final destination. On one occasion the time for the T/D on the crz page was 10 minutes after I should have landed. Maybe something I'm doing.John

Hi folks,when entering data in FMC i am asked to enter departure Gate/parking n# and when i enter, for example, A4 i get an error message: NOT in DATABASE :-(Is there a way to add data into FMC DB to avoid that boring error?Thanks as usual for any input

I used to be able to intercept the glideslope and descend for an ILS landing. Now When I make the approach, the plane doesn't intercepth the glideslope, and it starts to climb....Oh well, maybe one day this plane will work.. Sure it's got a nice looking panel, and sure the sound files are great. But the basic controls arn't there (FMC, VNAV). Please don't tell me to stop complaining. If you are going to sell a plane, it ought to work. And oh, Randy, don't give me any of your comments, please....

Question, I have flown the great tutorial that is posted here and everything turned out great. Problem is if I fly anything else, I seem to screw it up! I'm using the Beta payware version of FSBuild to build a flight plan, import via Co Route etc. Everything seems to go great until I geat near the arrival runway with APPlocked, both AP egaged etc. I always seem to come into the runway from the side. I'm not talking about a little bit, but 70 80 degrees or so. I'm sure I'm missing something but don't have a clue as to what.George Stoddard

HI, I reported some problems a few days ago, but it seems that nobody is able to answer them :(1. FS 2004 - I set VNAV and for example an altitude of 18000 feet. After that altitude the aircraft goes always to stall and tries to climb to 25000 or 30000 feet or even more and with the VNAV button disconecting2. The aircraft is bouncing all the time and there is nothing I didnt try: joystick is good, settings in the fsuipc are good and so on3. When I click CONTROL ALT DELETE I am able to see PF usage and processor performance. Hi,I have the SU1-1 installed into FS2002 since release, no problems there.When I run the SU 1-1 mini and after a re-install the full update for FS9 my system crashes to reboot when clicking the installer.I ran Windows update previous to the install attempt to install .Net for Edit Voicepack. Could this be causing a problem?The original release installer and SU 1 run fine. It's only 1-1 that causes this crash.The Windows analysis web page states a device controller caused the crash but gives no specific detail.I also have redownloaded both full and mini with no success.As I say it flies fine with FS2002, so no big rush but any hints or ideas would be appreciaited.Thanks,

Hi, i purchased the pmdg 737NG a few days ago along with the 767PIC Navdata. i tried creating a FP from Aruba( TNCA) to Surinam( SMJP).Do i have to insert waypoints, if yes where can i find those, and i keep getting the message that the route isn't active.Some help on how to create and activate a flightplan would really be appreciated.RegardsGerald

Dear All,I hope you can please help me with this query.I would like to know that when using the FMC to create a flightplan, is it possible to still use the FS2004 ATC to get IFR Clearance and be in communication with ATC throughout the flight or not please?I ask because I notice that even when not using the FMC and creating a flight plan with FS2004's default Flight Planner, it creates a route but very often when using ATC and IFR Clearance, the flight pretty much does not follow the route at all.Thank you in advance

Hi Guys,I installed the NAV data correctly making sure that ILS freq's were included w/ runways. On approach, I activate and execute a runway and arm the LOC / APP but she does not capture.This is automatic on my 767PIC and PSS A320. When I execute the runway the ILS freq should load automatically into NAV 1.But it does not seem to be doing that on the 737.Perhaps I am doing something wrong?Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks,Mark

Gentlemen,Since upgrading to 1.1, I now get an error message on the FMC when trying to use KMSP. In the route page when I try and enter KMSP into the destination I get the message "Program Error" appearing in the scratch pad. This is the only airport I have this problem with that I have found so far. I re-loaded all the NAV data and still no luck. any suggestions?Scott Burke
