As a new user of the PMDG 737 I currently have one problem (I'm sure more will follow :-) ) not directly associated with the 737.I have down loaded Terry's SID/STAR editor and convertor so that I can convert my existing 767PIC SID/STARs, however I have problems running either program.I have installed the VB6 run-time files direct from MS because I could not locate Terry's version2 editor, however it looks as if the convertor installs these files anyway.Once I set up the convertor and ask it to conver I get a run-time 76 error 'path not found'.When I try the SID/STAR editor it seems to run OK but if I then close it and reopen it I get an MS error wanting to send details ba…

I have tried to save a flight in progress and re-start it at a later time. It will not work. I tried in Fs9 and Fs2002. The fmc will not load a saved rte in the air. The settings on the instrument panel do not come back the way they were when the flight was saved. Without the fmc data the autopilot does not function properly.

Here's a little niggle I have to deal with occasionally, maybe someone has a work aorund?Having completed a couple of flights, I go to the fuel menu in FS2004 and add a couple of tons to the left and right tanks. All looks ok as I hit OK, but then the aircraft gauges show that only the right tank has been filled??? I go back to the fuel screen, and whoops, it is showing that the fuel wasn't added to the left tank. So, I type in the amount again and go back to the aircraft....same thing happens. Eventually it filled, but only after a lot of random fuel pump switch cycling and turning the power on and off for a few mins!!!Is there a little bug here, or am I being really daf…

PMDG...I can't stop flying this thing!!!FANTASTIC...it's the Lexus of the skies:)You guys did everything right...THANK YOU!One little thing...in the 2D cockpit side views there is a thin line at the bottom and right side where the outside shows through.It's a little bothersome at night with ground lights coming through.Maybe you can touch it up in the next SU.Again Thanks!Mark (Astro)

OK I had the Dreamfleet 737. Upgraded to Fs9 and missed the 737 so much I got this PMDG one.Purchase and installation 100% problem free.Fs9 works well for me with defaults holding 20fps easily on my 2.4 and Gforce.So, how do I stop stuttering with PMDG

Hi everyone,I had this happen a couple of times and am curious if anyone else is having an issue as well. Or..maybe this is a known issue that was posted in a previous forum I was unable to locate.When making manual entries in the FMC, it will lock up ocassionally. It locks XP up as well and eventually requires a "hot" shutdown by pulling the plug.I'm running a 2.5GHz machine with 512MB memory, ATI Radeon 64MB Graphics card with Windows XP.Thanks for your help and advice.Brian G

Hello,I have SU1.1 and often notice that the fuel remaining predictions are often zero on the ground before the flight is underway. When airborne they start to compute, but shouldn't the FMC have some idea of the route fuel expected consumption prior to taxi? Am I misunderstanding the FMC? Oh yes, I am setting up all of the parameters fully and correctly as far as I know...Cheers.C130

Shouldn't the VNAV speed change over from IAS to Mach automatically?If it is supposed to, it hasn't on the past couple of flights. I've had to exit VNAV, set the MCP to Mach, then return to VNAV mode. Carl Moore

Worked OK with upgrade (incl navdata).Installed mini upgrade and PC locked up.Removed 737NG with uninstall.Reinstall with upgrade and miniupgrade. Selecting 737PMDG - the FS2004 shut down and PC instantly returns to desktop with no messages. Hello Mark,I directed the NAV data installer to FS2004FMCWP as you directed but still no luck. I also tried FS2004FMCWPNAVDATA and that did not work either.My FMC is still coming up with INVALID DATA and no airports showing on the NAV display.I did download the right file PIC 767 / PMDG 737.Please help, your plane is INCREDIBLE!!!!Looking forward to really going somewhere with it :)Thanks,Astro

I seem to remember another PMDG user had a similar problem to mine but I cannot find the thread for it. Well, anyway here's an issue which I'm 100% sure is my own fault but I can't figure out what it is im doing wrong.And, yes it's VNAV related!! Ok, so I'm cruising at FL310, I reach my T/D point, so I open my FMC, go to DES, select Path Speed Des and then I hit DES NOW...the speed is set for 290kts and below 10000ft it's set for 240kts.Ok, after I hit DES NOW things appear to be ok for the moment. Dear captains.I've been using the 737-700 and encountered a problem.During climbing and cruising the aircraft nose pitch up and down , when A/p is connected...It pitches 5 deg up and -5 down...(I think passengers won't like it...:-)You feel more in a boat the a plane.What to do pls?

It converts the .pln to .rte but it only puts the departure airport in the fmc none of the other waypoints are there. For instance I created a fs2004 plan from Kfnt to kord. I dragged it to pln2rte and it changed the .pln to .rte, then I renamed the file kfntkord.rte to get rid of the long file name.then I moved it to the /pmdg/flight plans folder. I then enter in the scratch pad kfntkord enter it in the company route field. The origin field gets put in (kfnt) but that is all and the "activate" doesnt appear. Is there something I am doing wrong?

After fighting FS2004/FS9 for over a month I've finally gotten it to work (required a complete reinstall and lots of other PC stuff). Now, I can't get the start switches to turn left (to start the engines); i.e., I can't start the darned thing! The switches turn to the right but not to the left. x( I'm using the same procedures that I did in FS2002 and I have the service update 1.1.Help please!

I just purchased and installed 737NG...Super Job gentlemen, thanks. However, I'm not getting anything when I try to generate a registration code through the Registration Details - Extend Registration menu.Will my install self destruct after 10 days??? How do I generate the code? Also, I plan to upgrade my hard drive within a month or so. I will clone my outgoing D drive to the new. Should I use the Unregister/Transfer procedure?Thanks

Hi All, Yesterday I returned from Greece and was fortunate enough to sit in the cockpit during most of the cruize, the decend, approach and landing until we were parked at the gate. Among other things the pilots showed me was weather forecast for each of the waypoints in the flight plan showing winds at various altitudes at these waypoints. As I would like my flight planning to be a realistic as possible, of course within the limits that FS supports, I would like to be able to do the same for my simmed flights. Does anyone know of any tool or flight planner that can do the same? If no tool or planner exists, is it possible to download descriptions of winds at waypoints? …
