It might be a bit more useful if we adopt a standard format for posting performance issues. Hi folks !I have installed the newest navdata and update, but I have a big problem:My navdata is missplaced in the display. See the attached screenshot please. I m located at the Rwy in EDLW / Dortmund / Germany but my position in the ND is somewhere ( 40 NM ) north-easterly from EDLW.That is at all airports now....What is going wrong ?? Hi, PMDG flyersI am looking for a good "Flight Management Computer" Manual.Making a web search, I found in http://www.wilcopub.com an interesting one. In pdf format and 109 pages of good material, and in spanish to, my native language (there are in english and francais to). This manual was wrote for the 767 Pilot in Command for FS 2000, and a lot of indications given in it, are especific to this software. In general is like the same model we use in our PMDG-737. The good understanding on how FMC works, and how to use, is for my esential. Is like the core of the new generation aircraft instrumentation.I ask if anybody know where can I find a good one.Thanks in advance.Dirk…

Hello all,I've just purchased the 737. Very nice - and so far no problems with FS9. I'm curious - is there a manual or some documentation I'm missing ? I don't seem to be able to find much on a manual for using the PMDG 737 , and in particular the FMC. I've downloaded some documents from the web site, but these are mostly 'checklists' rather than a comprehensive manual.Thanks,Paul L.

I want to say first off I really do like the 737. I have a had alot of good flight so far.I do have a couple of issues.1 When ever I plan a flight using the downloaded DP's and STARS I dont get any fule info on the PROG page. This has happened from KPHX to KSNA and from KLAS to KOAK.2 The spoilers do not deploy on touchdown (yes it's armed). They do deploy once I engage the reversers. I wonder if that the way it should be or not.Thanks for any helpAndrew

Ok I was on a flight from KSEA to PANC, when the center tank went dry, the engines quit. Now am I supposed to Switch off the center tank fuel switches before the centre tanks run dry or should they just auto switch to the outer tanks. I started the flight with 65% percent in the outer tanks and 35% in the center tank. I let the center tanks run to 000 fuel, and then the engines quit. It was kind of scary, but i recoverd and I only lost 5000ft of alt whilst I got the engines back online, but speed went from .080 to .046 so i had a ahigh AOA,lots of spilt coffe for the pax :)Also is there a fuel planner available for this plane, or should I just, go with what FS2004 syas. B…

Bob,I appreciate all of your efforts to get the NG working in our systems as well as FS9 but I am now getting Slower FPS and more Studders with VNAV Update.Are you still working to resolve the FPS/smothness issues with the NG in FS9.ThanksRandy Smith

Does the installer change the FS2002.cfg?Reason, I had changed the {Device} listing to Nvida Drivers on Win2K. After moving and doing a complete install through SU1.1 of the 73G the device listing had reverted back to Nvidia Geforce 4 MX 440.Also, my CH yoke has dissapeard from the game controllers in Win XP. I installed Active Camera after installing the 737. These are the only changes I made to my setup. It all was working good early afternoon before going to work.Any ideas?Thank you.Sorry, editing a mistake above caused words to jumble, hope it's readable.

Friends: Did already anybody have some problem to do the start engine of the engine number 1? After a lot of insistence I only manage to do the start engine of the motor number 2. When I try to do the start engine for the number 1, N2 arises to the 25% but it doesn't pass of this Some suggestion?ThanksJorge OliveiraSantar

I've just downloaded Terry Yingling's SID/STAR data and having picked a couple of European airports to setup a flight I'm getting error messages regarding missing navaids. Just purchased the PMDG NG737 and am wondering what I did wrong, well I kind of already know, I installed it without reading about all the updates etc. So now I'm in a bind. I went back read all the FAQs and the other stuff. Used the remove tool and started over. However, FS9 no longer works at all, I can get right up until it tries to load a flight, remains at 0 and kicks me out. I tried to uninstall FS9 and start all the way over. Thats a no go, the Uninstall exe has vanished, should I just delete the entire folder and start over?

One thing that just popped into my head is the difference between the default MSFS 737 autopilot panel, which has a button for back course mode, and the NG autopilot, which doesn't (neither does the dreamfleet or the REAL NG).So my question is - how does one lock the autopilot to the back course of a localizer?Tim Metzinger

I just wanted to add a positive thread to this forum.I have now completed half a dozen successful flights with the 737NG in F9. I use it in conjunction with Radar Contact, FS Meteo and FDC.Although on the odd occasion the framerates have dropped to 6 or 7 they normally sit at a flyable 12-15. I was having problems with the FMC and fuel predictions until I discovered that if I confirmed all the atl. constraints with the appropriate RSK and then executed again the predictions beacme accurate again and no problems.VNAV works for me from take off to TOD, after that I am vectored by ATC so I use level change and V/S. Hey, I bought the 737NG about a weekago and am now upgrading my computer. When I bought it and installed it it didnt ask for a code or anything b/c of the patch and PMDG support team said that I wouldnt have to register it online unliess it asks me to. Do I have to do anythign special with this comp upgrade since I dont even have a code to begin with?Thanks,Billy

HiI was testing some systems and found that I was able to start engines with no apu bleed air.In fact they also started with the apu set to off as well as fuel pumps.I was wondering if the pnumatics are just dummies and will it stay that way or be fixed?This is in 2002 with su1.Best RegardsTed

Have recently discovered that the following files & gauges are missing:-1. baglide.wav - but copied this from another aircraft!2. kneeboard - unable to view/use :-(3. IRS gauge - unable to bring the IRS part of the overhead panel into view :-(Anyone else got these problems or know where to get the missing bits?Thanks.

Chaps,I've noticed my height callouts don't work sometimes after the first approach.To demonstrate, I departed from EGGW, climbed to 4000ft and came around for an A/P ILS back into EGGW. For the first approach, the height callouts were working well, starting at 1000ft RA. Upon the 100ft call I commenced a go-around (oh how I wish the A/P would disconnect on single A/P approaches when hitting TOGA, but that's another issue!).I cleaned up, continued climbing to 3000ft and came back for another approach, this time to land. However, I heard no height callouts until 40ft RA. The 740ft baro minimums call was also missing.It seems like some kind of initialisation problem pre…
