Hi!I manipulate the MEAD TWO DEPARTURE SID for KLAS Rwy. 19L/R to the following:SID RW19L.MEAD2.GFS RNW 19L HDG 191 UNTIL 3 FROM NAVAID LAS HDG 360 UNTIL RADIAL 280 FROM NAVAID LAS NAVAID BLD NAVAID GFSIs it possible to enter an altitude constraint? I want that the aircraft cross the radial 280 at 7000 feet. I tried to use the follwoing string but the FMC reports an error:SID RW19L.MEAD2.GFS RNW 19L HDG 191 UNTIL 3 FROM NAVAID LAS HDG 360 UNTIL RADIAL 280 FROM NAVAID LAS 7000 NAVAID BLD NAVAID GFSIs there any way to use the altitude constraint? Thanks,TomBerlin, Germany

Here is the text file for the departure, it's an RNAV departure and I'm thinking that might be what is confusing me a bit here. Hi all,As real as it can be for the budget types!I'm waiting for PMDG to make a fix for multi-monitor support, until then I simply drag the windows where I want them. My forecasted upgrade project will consist of purchasing a 21" LCD monitor for the overhead panel and building a mid-console with a NAV/COM panel and dual throttle quadrant. Here are the images of my current 737NG cockpit set up. I use one 21" CRT monitor and one 15" CRT monitor. CAUTION! IT'S ADDICTIVE!!! :-)http://home.bresnan.net/~atc01/Images/MY737NGSIM_PIC1.jpghttp://home.bresnan.net/~atc01/Images/MY737NGSIM_PIC2.jpghttp://home.bresnan.net/~atc01/Images/MY737NGSIM_PIC3.jpgRegards,Chad C. I've read through the manual but can't find an answer to this:On an FMC programmed flight, how do you execute a 'Direct To' command which bypasses other fixes or waypoints? (For example, ATC may say "...Speedbird 123, you're cleared direct to Mayfield" etc.)Thanks for any help.Toni.

Guys,I've had a few issues recently with lateral control of the 737 - the AP would neither keep a commanded HDG, nor would the LNAV properly follow a path. Instead, the bird would bank to the left continuously. At first, I thought it was a problem with the AP, but I discovered that by tapping the Aileron trim key several times allowed the AP to correctly control the plane.Question: Is there a way to visually confirm what the Aileron and Rudder trim are set at? Or, is there a way to "center" the trim values with a keystroke? I'm aware of the Stab Trim control on the trottle control, but there is nothing for Aileron or Rudder. Also, I'm aware of the trim settings in the .flt…

Hi friends.1) if i'm not wrong this has already been asked, so forgive...i cannot find that thread :-(Sometimes right engine (Engine 2, the right in panel) doesn't spool up at all and i have to turn it on using Ctrl-E command; left engine always start fine. What should i check? Is this correct: first left engine and then right engine? It's not a fuel related trouble, the spool doen't start and N1 stick to 0.2) often, when on short final, i find myself well above GS. This usually happens after its capture; it's like i miss something and so i loose GS. Any hint? Thanks in advanceLuigi ;-)

I have also installed the last available patch but when I insert the VNAV the airplane salt but it begins to dance in continuation and if I look from the visual ext I see that the aileron of the plan of tail passes fast and in continuation from it beats / it zooms and it also happens in FL of cruise.. he doesn't succeed to tender the assigned quota and the VNAV it is disconnected, for more if I use the speed of the simulator to 4x or 8x the airplane it falls inexplicably.... it is a known bugs??? or have I mistaken something in the installation??? thanks for the help and you excuse my English Ciao Nassi Filippo

Are there any speed limits on the use of the Retractable Landing Lights? The NG retractable lights seem to be a lot larger than the Classic 737 and I was thinking that they would offer a larger surface area (easier to break off). Here's a shot of the old type...http://members.ozemail.com.au/~b744er/737/...tClassic737.jpgCheers.Ian.

My gosh!! I sat on the sidelines until yesterday waiting to buy the 737NG. I was scared to death that my system would never be able to run this sim. (PIII 1Ghz, ATI 9100 Radeon 128MB, 512MB, Win Me, FS2K). So I took the plunge and guess what, It runs AWSOME!!! How did I do it? Nothing runs in the background but a firewall, sliders are in the "normal" setting, about 23% AI traffic. But the biggest thing was getting rid of the autogen. It did wonders. I am getting 13-17 FPS on the ground and locked at 23 FPS airborne. To me that is very good. So you guys with not so hot systems, compromise on the settings and experience the sim, that is what rocks!!! Great product!Whadze…

Hey all,Really enjoying flying the 737. I have a couple of areas that I need some help on.First, after starting up cold and dark and going thru the checklists that came with the manual when I am sitting there with the APU on the instruments all seem to disappear like they lost electrical power. I can't seem to do anything to get them back on. However, if I press CTRL-E to do a start sequence they come back on. Any ideas?????The second question that I can't seem to find any info on has to do with the AC and DC metering panel. What position should the AC and/or DC meter selector switch be in. I figured the AC meter switch should be on APU GEN when using the APU and th…

Uninstalled, reinstalled up to and including 1.1. Still no VC lights in the 737 NG. The 2d panel lights work great in all modes. The overhead is working. Just the VC is without lights. Everything worked great until I upgraded to 1.1.Any ideas?ThanksEd

I have the latest SID/STAR database setup but found that when I was trying to plan an arrival into the FMC for Schiphol Amsterdam (using Dep/Arr page), I got an error message in the FMC about something not being recognised, and then there were no listed arrivals for that airport.Any help appreciated, or is there a revised .txt covering Schiphol?ThanksToni.

I recently installed PMDG's 737 with the service pack update. I also installed the FMC Navdata as well. When I start FS2004, it gets to the create flight screen, I then select the Cessna 182 to start, then it tries to load for 10 seconds, then comes back with an error about sending the report back to Microsoft. Has anyone come across this same situation ? I have read in pervious post that you shouldn't start FS2004 using the PMDG's 737, so that is why I select the Cessna 182.Thanks in advance for any support,Mike

I could not find the answers in the forum, could some of you help? The PDMG 737NG is impressive! At first, I was hesitant but I'm finding that I like it more and more everyday as I learn more about the product. Though, I have a few questions that I couldn't find on the forum. 1. I could not find the PMDG 737NG landing speeds in the PMDG Manual. Where can I find documentation on this subject besides the FMC telling me?2. Load Manager: How do I determine the Gross Weight(GW)after configuring my aircraft with fuel and passengers? I see that the Load Manager shows the ZFW after adding the passenger and cargo load, but do I assume that the fuel load would be automaticall…

Not really a PMDG topic, but I happened to put FS 2002 back on my system to check out some issues to see if they were related to the 737 itself or a FS9 problem. After seeing the two, I was completely shocked as it has been a long time since I used FS 2002.Heres exactly the same location:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/34554.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/34555.jpgThought it might be of interest to folks. I had to scale the heck out of these to get them to fit here but even when reduced from the 3.75 Meg size down to small enough to fit here, you can see the differences.Ray

Hi, folks. Why is there no bleed air pressure in my Right Bleed Duct? (It's a Classic panel, but the NG is similar).http://members.ozemail.com.au/~b744er/737/...icECSPanel1.jpgCheers.Ian.

Dear PMDG,Since realism is the goal, please allow me to point out some inaccuracies with the behaviour of these speed bugs during takeoff and initial climb.MAGENTA SPEED BUG AND MCP WINDOWI noticed this on the day of release but did not want to post details until other major issues were resolved. For takeoff, V2 is set in the speed window. Upon pressing TOGA, the speed window incorrectly has 20kts added to it while the speed bug is incorrectly forced up by 20kts. The speed bug and the speed window should both remain at what was initially set, ie. V2. Once a positive climb is established, the flight director should then pitch for V2+20kts, even though the speed bug and w…

simple, but I thought that the original ground roll sound that ships with 737NG was rather 'lame'.So, I took this file from the default FS9 sounds...C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9Soundcnroll3.wavrenamed it to 737roll.wav, then over wrote the file below.C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9AircraftPMDG737-700sound737roll.wavTurned up the cockpit and environment volume sliders, and presto! Now it sounds like we're driving down the runway in a big jet!:)C130
