Good day. I recently made the big mistake of upgrading to Windows 10 and had to revert back to Windows 8.1 due to many issues encountered. Everything is restored now in Windows 8.1, but I have noticed everytime I open a PMDG product in either P3D or FSX-SE, the product requires to be reactivated every time. I activate the product, but the moment I close the platform and reopen it, I need to reactivate PMDG again. This applies to 737NGX and 777. The system is not "remembering" my activation. Any ideas? I have submitted a ticket but was wondering whether any one has encountered this problem? I have tried re-install with administrator rights. Also, when the aircraft loads u…

Please help! I have a Dell Inspirion with a Celeron Dual core 2.4 GHz with 4GB memory and HD graphics. I believe this should have met the bare minimums to run the NGX 737, and it kinda does.. Upon loading, and starting off by turning down the graphics, I get a FPS of 10-20. Now I realize that kinda sucks in a relative way, and the graphics have been turned waay down.. but I am seriously interested in the cockpit, the processes, and the realism... the graphics being low and the low frame rates I can totally deal with, so long as the NGX is running. The problem I cant deal with is the fact that it stutters... ALOT... like once every 45 seconds, everything freeze…

I did a search on this forum but couldn't come up with what I am looking for. So, I am sorry if this question has been asked before. I purchased the 737-800 I think back in 2012. I have since had a hard drive failure where it was located. I have checked and it seems I can no longer download my purchase. Is there a time limit or download limit for my purchase? Hello, I am writing you because I want to ask you if possible to study the possibility of a new very interesting aircraft , but a bit old now . Since Fsx , and lack of support SSW , the abscence wonderful Harald Nehring and Simon Topmann , it lacks a true and beautiful A300-600/600ST and A310 family , and I regret it !! If only I had the time and capabilities for devellopper I would ... I think as the MD-11 , that to be interesting for the community. Hi all, just have a general question regarding crossing the pond in FSX. Departing from NA I have the BARO set to IN. I know EU uses HPA and have just been switching about half way across. Wanting to be as realistic as possible wondering if there is an exact way to tell when to make the change. Thanks, Mike Clow

I fly the PMDG aircraft almost exclusively as I love the realism of the avionics and systems. The 737 NGX is my favorite so far, with the 777 and then the 747 close behind. I was wondering the possibility of the PMDG development team looking at creating the 787 series? What do you think about performing a survey to the customer base and see if crowdfunding it would be an option if that would assist with the process? Hello, I have a strange behaviour of the thrust levers on both the T7 and the NGX regarding the idle above and below 30000ft. First to explain the situation, my config is a FDS Jetmax 737 configured throught fscuipc (registered) with "send to direct calibration" option. In the FMC, I have setup to always override. Now here is the thing. When starting the descent above 30000ft, the thrust levers are not fully closed to the idle detent but rather kept a little above. Bringing my thrust levers to idle and setting up "Never" to override in the FMC doesn't change nothing to the matter. Pushing F1 or moving back and forth my thrust lever temporary brings the thr…

Hi, I'm new here and have not been able to easily find an answer to this question by browsing around. I have purchased licenses for the MD-11, 737NGX, 747 and 777 for FSX. I am now migrating over to Prepar3D v2.5 My question is: "Do I have to purchase these products again or can I download and use the P3D installers?". I am a bit wary of "suck it and see" in case I screw something up. Thanks for any advice, VPMC

I saw it was asked before but information I’ve googled was a bit limited. I wonder if I can use PMDG 737 and 777 PFD and ND on a network PC, all I want is to have PFD and ND in a larger size, just for conveniences/reference something like what Project Magenta or Cockpitsolutions offer. I don’t intend to make a remote control as those software offer, just larger size of these 2 displays somewhere else. I know I can click on them and resize but it is a bit distracting especially on takeoff and landing and undocking drops my fps by a half. I read that all such software does not work well with PMDG airplanes for many reasons. One of the suggestion was to use FSUIPC/WideFS…

Just updated to Windows 10. Flying PMDG 737 NGX & PMDG 777-200. (Operations Center states "Updated". NVIDIA files ran auto update w/the Win 10 install.) After unchecking the "Run in Compatibility Mode Button", and checking the Anti-Aliasing button, everything worked, except when I undock my gauges (Radios, MCP, CDU). They "pop-up" fine, but when I right-click to undock they become transparent. I cancel the undock and they return to normal. My System: FSX-Steam, Win 10, ASUS CM Series 16.0 GB Mem, 64 Bit OS, Intel i7 CPU @3.40 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GT630

I am stumped on this one. I haven't flown Vatsim for 1 year and I want to start again. I can't get ATC to hear me. Here is what I did: I hear ATC, they get my text - so the connection is good I have the PMDG 777 active I assigned F11 on keypad PTT The L VHF mike light os on. I checked the mike in SB and it checks out fine When my cursor is in the SB window, I hit F11 and speak - no one hears me.(I remember that the cursor needs to be in the SB window when using the keys) Any suggestions? Hi All, I own the 737NGX and the 777 PMDG licenses for FSX. I am considering switching over to P3D, and it looks like you need to open your wallet again to get these PMDG planes to work, is there a discount for current customers to purchase the P3D license version? Thanks

Hi everyone, I recently purchased the PMDG 737 NGX base pack. When I try to install, I get the following error message: "unable to locate fsx.exe. Unable to install." Hi, i am having trouble installing the liveries from operation center. Currently i am using FSX:Steam edition. I have already downloaded and installed the base package for the pmdg777. After completed installing, and when i went and select "PMDG 777-FSX:SE".. There is no menu for me to download any liveries... please help

Hello - On the PMDG site, under downloads, i see they have four type course lessons for the 747-400. The problem is that they seem to be for FS2004. Will they also work in FSX? Gunnar

Which one is a lower easier setting, 8xSQ or 8xS?
