I have just bought the base and the expansion pack. I use FSX Steam and I have it install on my D drive and not my C. I have an error saying that it cant find fsx.exe, can anyone help me?

Hi My last three flights have resulted in three crash to desktops. All three occurred mid flight on different length flights (LHR-DXB, BOS-DXB and DOH-DXB). The first two flight were in the T7 and the last one in the 737. There not OOMs as the message doesn't appear on screen and I can normally save the flight before it crashes. A white screen appeared and then the fatal error occurred. Before yesterday I haven't got fatal errors in some months. Any suggestion to fix this would be great. Thanks

G'Day Guys, I'm new here, so I'm not sure whether I have put this topic where it is meant to be. Anyway, I have been a PMDG + FSX user for a while, and one day my friend convinced me to install Steam. So I did, fiddled around with a few liveries but then decided I didn't like it and uninstalled it. From that day on, my PMDG Operations Centre does not recognise any of my PMDG aircraft/liveries even when I uninstall the aircraft and re-install them. No matter what I do, it just doesn't seem to recognise that Steam is gone and that I have PMDG aircraft (legal copies) in my FSX. Even with my 737 PMDG livery manager, the path defaults to the Steam Folder, that do…

Hello, I experienced that during approach ground vehicles are shown on TCAS/ND.(PMDG 777) I know this should not be a PMDG issue alone but maybe there is someone out who has an idea where to adjust or switch it off. Investigations in AVSIM forums did not bring me closer to the problem. Im using WOAI only. Thank you for help. Best regards Andreas Hövel

For the upcoming 744, are all 3 engine variants going to be fully modeled? With the original 744, if you flew a RR or PW powered aircraft, it would show EPR, however, performance wise it was still the GE engine.

I am thinking of buying the pmdg 747 but as I do not have a lot of time to flight sim and it is a long haul aircraft I was wondering if it had a skip time function similar to the pmdg 777 or if not are there any 747 models that do? Thanks for the help

Ok just about got sorted flying an ils approach into Manchester I have now started using PRO ATC which I find great, but it is giving me VDM 23L as part of my landing which I can not understand. Can somebody please tell me what a VDM approach is? I have searched google etc but did not find any tuts etc Any explination would be gratefully recieved.

Hi, I recently bought 747-400X for FSX on the DVD payware. I am totally stunned by the virtual cockpit and exterior models. They are fantastic. However I have a vertical pitch related issue, which stops me from really flying the plane altogether. I can takeoff well, everything goes to plan, but when I get to about 5000 ft, the vertical movement is uncontrollable. In other words, when I push my joystick down nothing happens. If I let go altogether the plane pitches at 30 degrees or so, ascending up to 20000ft a minute, and soon stalls. The pitch is reversed, descending at 30 degrees up to 20000ft a minute. I had been using the 777 for quite some time, then took a break only to get back into "flying" with the 737. I have been updating airports as I fly to them (thanks Ray Smith!) but looking to improve the view for the overall flight. Anything interesting / new out there? Thanks.

One thing i really like about this place is you have to use your name . There's a pile of forums out there and so many don't use there name and you don't know who your talking to . Many times i won't answer a post cause answering to a guy who calls himself some thing like -B-52 bomber- does nothing for me .Maybe its just me but i have a major problem with it . Hi, After a clean reinstall of P3D yesterday, I have encountered a problem with the 737; I load it up in C&D confing, and then turn the battery and gpu on, I then go and program the FMC, after this i return to the overhead and start pressing switches...but nothing happens, none of the central pedestal switches work either. The only thing that works is the MCP. I do not believe its a simconnect problem, but i could be wrong. Any suggestions to rectify this issue? Joe

Hello anyone, So now and then I require to lookup an article in one of the PMDG forums (depending what aircraft type). While I know that one time or rather (sometime months later) I had read such an article it is very (quite impossible) to find it again. Question; is there a search possibility, say on for instance "topic title" ? Regards Dirk

I am deaf in one ear and my wife does not want engine noise thru the house via my external speakers, so I switch to my headset. With default aircraft I can use the FSX Sounds option to move the engine noise slider to the left for less noise and as I use MCE I want good sound volume to hear and talk to ATC so I move the Voice slider to the right. However, in my PMDG aircraft this FSX Sounds option does nothing even if I reduce the engine noise slider to zero. I have looked at "Sounds" on the PMDG flight management computer under setup, but can't seem to get any engine noise reduction on any line items. I have registered with a support account with PMDG. On the support/account webpage I have an outstanding alert which states: "Your account has been registered but not verified. Follow the instructions in the email that was sent to you. To send the email again, use the Send Verification Email button." After a couple days, I have not received any email yet despite a few tries. (Nothing in my SPAM box either.) Will the fact my account was not verified affect the status of my support ticket? This has probably been raised before but I was just wondering if the classic aircraft that PMDG may be developing between major projects will include classic jets?

Here is my current deal: I was fed up with all the OOM's and Joystick problems, and figured Windows 10 couldn't be any worse. My problems have all been solved! (except one small detail) No more joystick problems. No more Out of Memory Errors. Windows 10 seems to have solved all of those issues. It was easy to upgrade and went as smooth as butter. Also, FSX Steam is a big help with the tools that are offered on the logon site. The game files verify feature is sweet. I just flew my PMDG 777-200LR 10 hours from OMDB to RJAA with the FSX default scenery .cfg and landed with everything on (Weather on Pilot side / Terrain on F/O side) looking out of the ai…

Hello Since upgrading from W7 to W10 on my desktop PC I have noticed any (non-PMDG) 3rd party liveries I install using the PMDG Op Centre do not display any Aircraft Properties. In P3D the MCDUs of these aircraft do not work properly, with some blank pages and soft key presses not working after a period of time. I have tried removing and reinstalling my PMDG products but this has not helped. Can anyone shed any light on this issue please? Thanks Andrew

Hello everyone - In FlightSim Commander i have made a flightplan containing departure and arrival airport - i also added a custom waypoint. It seems that i am not able to export it as a file so i can enter it as a company route in the FMC of the 747-400X. I must ask; do i need to link FSC to FSX in some kind of way? Have opened 4 tickets over some 3 weeks to find out why my order history is missing on my PMDG account. NOT ONE REPLY. A day or two or three, ok, a week? not good, 3 weeks? Unacceptable. Plus I've found no address or phone number for your company. When I load up my PMDG 737 NGX it installs OK but when I press one of my keys that I have set up for EZ Dok the textures turn black where they should be grey etc. Cannot seem to fathom out what the problem could be. Would appreciate any help/advice etc. Michael

I was going to try to do a side by side to see if FSX SE will save me any VAS but when I try to install the 777 I just get the option to either uninstall or repair? Can you not have it in both at the same time? Thanks David

I only have this problem with my PMDG aircraft. I will be in flight and my landing gear will drop down. I have saitek equipment and checked all the buttons and controls to make sure there is no duplicates and there isn't. I was also having random AP disengagements The only button that will do landing gear is the default G key. I don't know what is going on, but it's frustrating. I get penalized from my VA for extending gear down above 250 KIAS.
