Hello all. First off, thank you for the excellent products! I have been enjoying both the NGX and 777 in FSX SE immensely. I am working on making the switch full time to P3D and one of the big things holding me back is having to repurchase both products, and the expansions, for well over another $200. Is there any possibility of "turning in" the FSX licenses for a discount towards upgrading to the P3D versions? I am experiencing buyers remorse at getting the versions I did, and would love to have everything in the better sim. What are my options here? I know, and fully understand, that there are coding differences requiring more work to support both versions. But hav…

Hey Guys how are you all . I have some problems with the fmc's in my aircrafts. When I airborn and near my cruise altitude the fmc are freezing. and it happens mosly when I fly online ivao or vatsim. Hi, I don't often ask for help, but does anyone have an idea why I would get a "sim1.dll" crash while using the 777? My install is FSX SP2. It is virtually a vanilla installation - the only add on aircraft is the 777, only installed livery is CX normal livery. Only add ons are GEX (just to flavour up the view a little) and Scenery Tech land class, all stock airports. I have Win 7 64 bit and 8mb RAM, i7 2600K CPU not over clocked. My reading found the common theory is a corrupted aircraft livery, but I don't believe this would be the cause, given the above. This is also why I haven't submitted a ticket as I am positive it's nothing to do with the 777. Thought some …

Anyone know of any way to get discounts on PMDG products or perhaps some valid promo codes available. Im a college student right now so I have all my money for the most part set aside for books and car payments, and as much as I have been drooling over the PMDG 737-800/900 I find it hard to justify spending $70 on it.

I've searched the forums for this but so far not found anything. Have PMDG produced any info or documentation explaining the structure of the .rte files used on the 737NGX, 747 and 777 series aircraft. I am building a new PC and am wondering if I will be able too just take my 2 SSD's and install them into the new machine. Everything will be new (motherboard, CPU, PS, Memory, Graphics Card but still using Windows 7 with OS on one SSD and P3D on the second) so what I wish to know is will I be able to use the PMDG 737 and 777 for P3D or not and if not how can I manage it without a whole new installation? regards

Last year, probably some number of months after introduction of the 737 NGX, there were several discussions about the possibility of adding the feature of “Sharing the Cockpit” with another pilot. Using TeamSpeak or some other voice com, it would be possible for a Captain and First Officer to pilot the 737 NG together, sharing cockpit duties. Is this project still under consideration by PMDG? What do pilots talk to the "ground" crew during a normal operation? Is there some software that simulates these situations, ie that you (the pilot) can communicate with the ground crew and do all the standard communication? Thanks

Way way behind on updates. :/ I plan to go in this order based what I've read on here. btw Robert's pinned update is excellent. 1. Update the OPS center 2. Open and close the OPS center 3. Download the installers for the 737 and 777 from the commerce center. 4. Run the installers one by one and update the liveries. Couple of questions: -When I download an A/C from the ops center, are the "aircraft specific settings" already configured to that airline’s specifications? -I've also noticed that, when I download an A/C from the ops center, I noticed the A/C registration listed in the ops center isn't always correct reg. # painted on the A/C or listed in the cockpit. Why is that? -Lastly, would it be possible to add to the ops center, a place for us to change the flight number so we don't have to change it from inside the sim? Thanks!

Hi guys, Hope you can help me. Yesterday I took the 777 for the first spin after I had to reinstall FSX due harddisk issues. I noticed that when I transmitted FSX started to lag going from apx. 30 FPS to 9 FPS and I found out it´s only when using PTT. After landing this morning I tried the NGX and MJS Q400 and they have the same issue in VC, but when switching to 2D on NGX the problem dissapears or at least it don´t ahve the same effect. I don´t recall having this issue prior to reinstalling FSX. I use CH Yoke with a assigned PTT and have tried running without VPilot and ASN and FSX is run as admin and also tried deactivating Norton.
