Hello! I'm having activation issues with the J41 and have been trying to access the Support Desk in order to submit a ticket, but I just can't, since I forgot my login details and the system won't let me change the password. Clicking the "Forgot your passowrd?" link opens a window that says it'll send an email allowing me to change my password, but it actually just sends my login info. Strangely, when I try to enter them in the login page, it says that either my username or password is wrong. Can someone from PMDG look into this?

I use PFPX for every flight. I try to do everything by the book, its just the way I like to do it. Now Q To me Topcat seems to add very little, as I use the CDU for V speeds and landing speeds. So please explain what extra Topcat brings to the table. Does it make very little difference or just add that extra touch? Is it worth it? I like the way it works with PFPX and yes I do know its a different program to PFPX :wink: for take off and landing calculations.

I know this sounds like a long shot, but theirs a gap in the market for the a350 on fsx at the moment and well im sure if pmdg started a project on it, it'll turn out amazing ?

Hello, I was wondering if I could update the tails of the pmdg made SWA special liveries to the new Heart Tail. If i did all i would do is switch the old tail out for the new one and not touch any other part of the aircraft paint. I would of course give credit to the original creator. Thanks

I paint liveries and have had no issue creating PTP packages in the past under FSX but the new Livery Manager in the new and improved Operations Center is not functioning for me correctly in P3D. When I right click on my custom painted livery and tell it to export it asks me for the name of the livery I want to create. I do so and it says that the export is completed. It creates a completely useless PTP file that has no textures or the custom INI file or anything. In the old version you could see it working its magic and compressing the livery and prepping it for PTP formatting. This is not the case now in the the new Ops center with P3D. Am I going to have…

All, After seeing much of the feedback here on the forum, I would recommend that everyone install via a full uninstall/reinstall. This will ensure that there aren't any bits and pieces left behind from the previous install, which can show in odd ways. The following is written for both the NGX and the 777 because the procedure is the same. Chose one or the other and follow the procedure for that version. Items in bold are the minimum steps required. Other items can be used to ensure no pieces from the old install are left behind (good in the case you detect there might be an issue, or just in case you want to be absolutely sure). Hi all Trying to set up NVidia Inspector on my new laptop and having a bit of trouble with getting NVidia to save changes. My laptop runs Windows 8.1 (64-bit). Every time I make the necessary changes as advised by Ryan in his set-up guide for NVidia and click on "Apply Changes", it sends everything back to the default settings. I am following his instructions step-by-step. Nothing I try saves the settings. Can someone help?

I'm flying the 737-700 on a normal decent see on the lowest line of active text: FPA V/B V/S ?? I've got V/S figured out, that's the verticle speed ft/s target for the FMS. I have double checked my operators manual but can't find FPA and V/B. Anyone know?Dan DownsKCRP

Dear forum members! About one year ago I bought the PMDG 777-200/F. In April, I reinstalled Windows. I reinstalled FSX and all Add-Ons normally. After I had installed the 777, appears the question about the serial number. I put in the activision key from the PMDG order page in my PMDG account. After clicking "OK", I've got the message: "Invalid Activision Key". I checked it several times, but there wasn't any mistake. Do one of you know, why the key isn't right? Do I have to buy it again? hello, i have the pmdg b777 and the -737, and i want to fly them with the weather radar. i have opus for the weather engine in the fsx, but, when i'm turning opus on, the weather radar turns off. if opus is off-the radar is on. what is the problem? thx!!

I've had the NGX for just over two years now but I've been reading posts previous posts about RF segments being added in the future. Although I don't have any other PMDG aircraft I'm pretty sure it is relevant the 777 and 747 as well. The last one I found was this one in almost two years ago: I just was wondering if this is still happening and if so can you give any sort of time frame? (I know PMDG don't like giving time frames with how fiddly code can be) I fly Qantas 737-800 (virtually) and RNAV approaches are used at nearly every airport. Hi chaps, The 777 and 737 came with outstanding authentic documentation but I'm just wondering if it would be impossible to include an MEL with the new jumbo, or whether that would be an unreasonable request. I'm getting into service based failures now but notice that the FAA lists available online aren't terribly complete and it would be great to have one that covers EICAS status messages and all the various SB items that can crop up.

Does uninstall pmdg 747X impact to the NGX or 777 such as the NAV data or airac ? How to do this correctly ?

Hi all I have a problem that's been plaguing me for a long time. I don't know how to get either my NGX or 777 to keep to the correct speed when climbing out of the runway. For example, in my NGX when setting up the FMC, it'll say that the speed to the first waypoint should be 150kts. So I set that on the autopilot panel, with autothrottle switched on. When I start the takeoff roll, I advance the throttles manually to about 60% and then use the clickspot that activates the computer taking over to take the throttles to the proper maximum thrust setting (e.g. 94.3% or whatever). Hi guy's I am new to the sim world. I have been using fsx for a little while and what I know about flying in fsx is very limited. I have the pmdg777 and have to say I is just out of this world compared to the stock planes in fsx. I have subscribed to navigraph for the year, currantly on AIRAC cycle 1507 the navigraph manager update both pmdg and fs commander Now i can plan the flight using fs commander get the sid and star sorted and loaded into the pmdg data base, i can see the legs ect are all there. I take off using lnav and vnav, but can not land the plane, it is all to do with me not understanding what is going on with altitude. I have no …

In a preview video for the 747-8i on the PMDG site, there was a rendering of a PMDG Dash-8. Is this still being worked on, or was it a joke or was it trashed?

I have a problem that just started. When using a complex aircraft, PMDG, Majestic dash 8 or Aerosoft A320 the game momentarily freezes about once a minute for 3-4 seconds. Using FSX stock aircraft it doesn't happen. I don't get a spike in CPU usage or memory usage when it occurs. Any ideas? Jerry

I was talking with the developer at FlyElite about their hardware not working with the PMDG planes. Are there any plans to develop an API for the PMDG planes so that I can use my FlyElite throttle quadrant? The hardware is fantastic and makes flying so much better that the plastic hardware that I was using. I know I am in the minority here, but I want to be able to use my hardware for current and future products from PMDG. That's not happening now and I am sure others are experiencing the same problem based on the comment that I got from FlyElite. PLEASE!!! Thanks, John
