Hi, Briefly, in FSX I found that the 777 performed more smoothly and with slightly higher frame rates than the 737NG. I have since moved to P3D and currently only have the NG. I'm wondering if anyone else has observed the same thing in FSX and whether anyone using both in P3D can comment on their experience? Referring back to FSX, I presume that the 777 benefits from more optimised coding as it was a later development than the NG? It certainly seemed happier on my system in FSX than the NG, particularly when it came to smooth frame rendering. I find the NG in P3D is rather prone to lots of micro stuttering, which I find a bit jarring! Cheers, Luke

Well, a recent post on Facebook by a certain airline featuring the PMDG 777 in said airlines livery has emerged. I think they got spoofed by PMDG and their unreal graphics Thoughts?

Hi there, I would really like some of the manuals you guys have for sale. But the cost of sending it by Fed ex is around $180. Far more than the manuals are worth. Is there another delivery option you guys could look into instead of using Fed ex? As i'm sure you are aware delivery costs for international deliveries can make purchases prohibitive. I am not seeking a PMDG endorsement for an upgraded Washington Dulles airport file. I am merely looking for an upgrade that doesn't kill the FPS and/or unnecessarily increase the VAS usage woes in the PMDG experience. I know there are several payware (Blueprint, Flightbeam, et. al.), but I also see some AFCADs that purport to add the "center" runways. Anyone comfortable with advising me? Or, perhaps sending me a PM with a suggestion? Any and all suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance! lf

Hi guys. I understand the concept of setting the Take Off trim and why we do it. I've watched Kyles video on his You Tube page about Trim settings too. What I don't really understand what trim value really is. For example the FMC may give me a Trim Value of say 5.25 but what is 5.25? I've heard pilots on videos call it Units of Trim. Is it an angle setting of a the stabalizer in degrees like flap settings? If it's measured in units of Trim how do we arrive at the figure 5.25? Hope my question kind off makes sense, thanks for any help.

Today i made a Trip to Nürnberg/Germany (EDDN) My Scenery is up to date and include the ILS INUW 109.10 and the LOCY INUY 111.75 Also there are TWO ILS for Runway 28 !! Problem: The FMC shows me the Frequency 111.75 for BOTH Aproaches (ILS28 and LOCY28) If i understand the Navigraph Support Forum correct then the Problem is in the PMDG Software. Is it right that PMDG FMC´s are not be able to work with TWO ILS for ONE Runway ??? By the Way. In my opinion the available simulators on the market today just haven't kept up with what most of us would have expected had FSX continued it's development cycle. Just imagine the time it would eventually save PMDG, not having to adapt and change code for several new platforms and adapt to their release schedules (i.e. P3D, X-Plane, FSX). From my point of view, there seems to be an issue on this forum in relation to people being able to have reasonable, civilised debates; or indeed being able to share their opinions at all. I have noticed the same thing on the PMDG Facebook page. Some posts apparently strike a nerve and are deleted. They are not replied to with an alternate view, not simply ignored, but they are actively and very quickly removed. I have one simple question. Why? Hello to the PMDG team! Hope you all had a great holiday! I fly the 737 and 777 series almost exclusively because I think they are the most realistic airframes by far available for FSX. I was wounding if you are contemplating creating a 787- I think that would be a great transition for many of us pilots, especially those getting into the next generation of commercial aircraft. Do you ever consider crowdsourcing development projects? I see a lot of software companies doing that now as it offsets the costs up front and gives you an idea of potential demand. Today I bought a GoFlight Yoke and in speaking with them I learned about the FlightSimCon 2015 in Connecticut June 13 and 14 (GoGlight will be there). Strange how I am always on the boards and never heard about it until now. Am I the only one who doesn't know about this?? What else am I missing? Robert Randazzo is scheduled to give a PMDG update there? Was I in a coma for the last year? I live in Long Island, so it's a 2 hour ride. Count me in - or am I dreaming? Anyone attending??

On redownloading the latest installers for the NGX I opened up the readme files (yes, I know that's an odd thing to do ) and spotted a rather nice typo which is a very Freudian slip considering the added complication (for PMDG) of the Steam release. There at the top of the Release Notes is a little one liner that simply says: "FSX-SE COMPLAINT FSX-SE" Nice one!

Talking of TOPCAT, does anyone know how to add to their aircraft templates, i.e adding more aircraft types, such as Airbus A318/319, Dash 8, Fokker F27, 777-300ER, etc, etc?

Hello, i am flying now the PMDG 777 fro several months with a lot of fun. From one day to the next i lost the visible moves of the yoke on the plane. I can turn with my yoke at the desk but lost the simultaneous moves in the plane. Any advise on that ? best regards Marek LOWW

If FSX was never finished off by the Microsoft sub-Contractors 'Aces' what are they doing now? Are they contributing to the tweaks most of us know about now or, are these coming from other people with the skills required?

I was away while all this was happening. I downloaded both the -200 and -300 updates and installed them as "repairs." The operations center says that I now have the most current versions installed (6492), but the aircraft.cfg file header still says build 6155. How can I tell if the update has actually occurred? Thanks.

Hello, My HUD display is missing in my NGX and other 737 variants for P3D. Any fix to this, I can't seem to figure it out. I have purchased both base package as well as the 600-700. Thanks!
