It seems like 3rd party add ons for FSX has grinded to a crawl. Nothing really new for FlyTampa, Level D's last update was Dec 2010, the 787 from QualityWings is crawling along. And where's the new 747 from PMDG? Maybe I'll take a long leave here and check back with everyone in 4 years and see if there are any goodies out there to buy.

HI. I'm using the ops centre with the NGX. Have downloaded repaints from within the ops centre and they have been installed. However, they don't show up in the ops centre when I try to make individual aircraft adjustments - the only repaint I see loaded is the house colours. Hope this makes sense? essentially, I can't edit the preferences for individual aircraft in the ops centre. Any ideas?

I searched the forum for Saitek and got no hits. Somewhat surprising because there seem to be many, many people who have the same problems with the fact that the Saitek Multi panel does not work with PMDG aircraft. The only things that work are the CRS selector, flaps and pitch. The other selectors do not work, nor do the Autopilot or the auto throttle. They do work on the standard FSX airfraft. From having Googled a solution it appears that several other third party products are required. Unfortnately there is no conformity to what is exactly required. Just wondering why this information is not available on either the Saitek or the PMDG websites. I contacted …

Hey everybody, I just wanted to know how well the PMDG 777 and the NGX will work with my HP Envy laptop: Processor: AMD A6-4400M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 2.70 GHz Installed Memory: 6.00 GB (5.46 usable) OS: Windows 10 System: 64bit I would really love to get either aircraft to work with my computer and I am willing to sacrifice some realism for performance. My magic fps number is 15 which I can get easily with high settings in my FSX:SE. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

This has been sitting on my desktop for a little while, but with the latest "The DC-6!" thread, I figured I'd actually share it with everyone. The past several times I've been in the sim, I've completely forgotten to grab screenshots, and haven't gotten any videos. That being said, there are some things that can't be conveyed via images, and I'm not good enough with video editing and camera applications to get it there, either. This is usually Carl's domain, so I apologize if my writing doesn't quite reach the bar he's set with the last few beta runs (seriously - the guy is a certifiable wordsmith: http://www.avsim.com/topic/460960-shadows-at-play-magic-at-work-and-a-…

Just a note to say I had to reactivate the 777 and 737 after updating from Win10 10240 to 10586 build on P3D V3. Havent tried FSX SE. Dont recall needing to do that on previous builds.

This may have been asked previously, but I couldn't find it. I came to this forum because PMDG is the "source" of the dilemma. I am running Win 7/64. I am running FSX/SE. I am running the latest paid-for version of FSUIPC. And I am running the PMDG 737NGX and 777. Now don't beat me too badly, or blame Pete Dowson too harshly for what I am about to say, but although I have been told NOT to use FSUIPC for mapping controllers for tthe PMDG fleet, others have told me that they do so all the time with no problems. And it seems like I have been able (I think) to do so, so far. I would rather do things the way PMDG suggests, so if I have a problem, the first thing I WON'T hear …

Just wonder, if anyone knows or have a clue about how the work is moving on or not? I hope (my dreams maybe) that it will be released before X-mas this year... but thats just a dream... I real, can I expect a release before or after 2021?... Regards P.

Just wanted to ask a quick question about the download speed of the NGX for P3DV3, I'm just trying to download the V3 version as I have the V2 version and fsx version and ever recall it being nearly a three hour download from my previous orders! is it me or is anybody else experienced this as well? my downloads are always pretty quick no problems but this has gone on for a few days now. Regards Rod.

As more pilots migrate to P3D v3, it will be interesting to hear their feedback about completed flight experiences, like smoothness, FPS, faults and difficulties. So I hope that you can share your experiences for all our benefits. PS I shall be abroad next week, but hope to read about your flights!

Hi chaps, I was just wondering about the use of the secondary flightplan in the 777 and, I imagine, the 747 FMS. Does it have any official use or is the use entirely at the pilot's discretion? I'm really asking because if you are flying a route with no alternative contingencies, i.e. only 1 runway, is it the done thing to copy the primary flight plan anyway, or to simply leave the secondary one blank? If someone could shed a bit of light on realistic use of the sec. flight plan for enhancement of my simming pleasure, I'd be most grateful! Cheers chaps

Hello guys, For some reason my PMDG account got hacked by someone and I believe it is using the 777 I bought I while back. I've changed the account password but I don't know if you can do something else like change the product key or something like that. Thanks for the support.

Hello, I think the topic already pretty much says it all. I really like flying the PMDG 737NGX and the 777 but I also really like to fly an A320. I currently use the Aerosoft Airbus X Extended to satisfy my needs. Aerosoft did a decent job with it but once you experienced the quality and depth of a PMDG product you really don't want to miss that in an airplane addon anymore. So I would like to ask, what PMDG's standpoint on the whole Airbus topic is and if you consider making any Airbus some time? I know this question came up a few times before, but I didn't really get an answer to my question or the threads were really old. So I'd really appreciat…

Hi all! I was just wondering if my computer (*cough* laptop *cough*) could possibly handle the 777 with FlyTampa Sydney (hoping to buy these two), although my specs do qualify for the 'Recommended Hardware' on the PMDG website for the T7. My Specs are: Intel Core i5-2520M 2.5GHz (max 3.0GHz) CPU with 8GB DDR3 RAM (1600MHz) Intel HD Graphics 3000 GPU with 2GB vRAM Windows 8.1 64-bit and Payware Add-ons GSX REX 4 TD REX Soft Clouds Active Sky Next I get about 20-ish fps with the NGX. Thanks for your help, lorenplanes

I keep separate sets of dll.xml and exe.xml files depending on the session I will start in FSX:SE. If it's a session for flying aircraft other than PMDG's 777 or NGX, then I have versions with no entries pertaining to those add-ons. When flying a PMDG I used to have a single dll.xml file, wich resulted from the sequence of 777 and NGX installs, but I noticed that when installing the NGX over a clean dll.xml I notice that it doesn't create the entry: " <Launch.Addon> <Name>PMDG Interface</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>PMDG\DLLs\PMDG_Interface.dll</Path> <DllStartName>module_init</DllSt…

I have FSX on my computer. One of the updates for the Operations Center loaded up the P3D and Steam Edition so now it shows along with FSX even though I don't have them. Is there a way to remove them from the list so only my FSX products show?

Having problems with pop-up panels on both the 777 and NGX. When I click on a panel it appears but it is dull-grey, hard to read almost transparent. Functions on the various panels - i.e. FMC work. Everything else is working and displaying as expected. Running FSX-SE latest updated version. Only other recent upgrade was FTX Global v1.30 to v1.40. Appreciate any thoughts or suggestions. Hello guys, let me first thank you for the 777. I am playing Flightsims now for about 10 years, most of the time only casual. But P3D and the 777 - I love it. Everything works perfect here with V3 but what is still on my mind: Do you have any good link or documentation for what this "light sensor" window on the top left corner is doing? I hate this thing on my screenshots  Best regards, Stefan Wiesmayer
