As the title says... I just recently tried installing the PMDG J4100 on my new windows 10 pc for the first time after about 4 1/2 long years of NOT ONCE EVER being able to use it on my old windows 7 pc. On my old pc, I purchased the J4100 and installed it on my pc. But no matter what I tried, everything resulted in an instant ctd. Not even PMDG support could help me get the bird up and running.... so off the J4100 went into a usb stick hidden in my desk for the past 4+ years. Then, today out of curiosity... I decide to try running it on my new pc and voila! It doesn't ctd at all, with the exception of some the gauges and aircraft lights not working because the …

I'm setting up FSX and the PMDG 777 and using an Apple iMac with 64 bit "Windows 7" in Bootcamp. I want to use my Apple keyboard but can't figure out how to activate the flaps. The PC keyboard uses F7 (down) and F5 (up) whereas the Apple keyboard has no effect of the flaps when using those keys. Alternatively I'd like to use buttons on the joystick if that's possible. Can this problem be solved? Cliff

Hello! I've run into a strange problem today which I haven't been able to solve yet. I fly the 737-600/700/800/900 NGX and 777-200LR/F/300ER in FSX Steam Edition and everything worked just fine until today. I didn't change anything to my computer system, the installations or the FSX settings, but as of today the nose wheel won't turn anymore, both in the 737 and 777. The nose wheel steering of a default aircraft as well as of the Majestic Dash 8-Q400 still work fine though, as do the aileron, elevator and rudder controls in the PMDG aircraft. Normally the nose wheel turned according to the aileron axis on the ground, so I see no apparent reason why the wheel w…

So, PMDG turns 20 next year. Any birthday presents/surprises in store for us next year?

Just a small point but does anyone else have this problem. Since the update I have the white position light on the starboard trailing edge of the wingtip on all the time, (it's not on the port side). All other aspects of the update works fine for me. Any thoughts and thank you PMDG. Best regards Malcolm Hancock

I'm developing a C++ SimConnect plugin with the PMDG SDK. I am able to set the state of the overhead electrical panel battery selector switch guard using SimConnect_SetClientData and EVT_OH_ELEC_BATTERY_GUARD, however for my application I also need to be able to read the state of the switch guard. The PMDG_NGX_Data structure in PMDG_NGX_SDK.h provides a field for the battery switch, but no field for the switch guard. Is there a way to read the state of the switch guard using the PMDG SDK and SimConnect? Thank you, Aaron Smith

Good evening all. I posted this topic in the P3D forum but wanted to double tap PMDG as well. I know this is long and I am hoping it’s something stupid on my part, but I can’t seem to lock down this issue. In the meantime I’m going to install another third party aircraft and see if I have the same problem. That will help me determine if this issue is strictly with PMDG… Background: In order to install P3D V3.1, I deleted all P3D V.2 software and associated add-ons from my hard drive. I left FSX on the hard drive \K as a backup so I could still fly if I had issues with P3D. I did delete all of my FSX add-ons in order to leave space on my hard drive for P3D. …

So I tried hand flying the departure with my newly acquired PMDG. But as I climbed through the 10k I could not engage the AP. Is there something I'm missing for engaging it mid flight? Now I have to admit I did miss one tiny thing on setup. Forgot to set the Trim. While I know this affects VNAV, I was still able to engage VNAV and LNAV successfully. But no AP. I tried doing little adjustments to the trim while climbing, hoping the AP would engage but no joy. Any tips? No failures on. Had stick at neutral and tried many of the other suggestions found on PMDG and AVSIM.

Hello guys, after flying around in the 777 a lot and now also using the Aerosoft Airbus X I'd like to ask: Is it on your radar to implement some sort of checklist co-work with the FO like Aerosoft does have it? I really like this feature in the Airbus and would love to have it in my PMDG planes. Or do you say: You can have this with FS2Crew? Just curious! Thanks a lot in advance, Best regards, Stefan

Hello, My new i7-6700k/Z170 system is arriving later today, so the brand new P3Dv3.1 will be installed. As I would like to avoid a routine of new textures' reinstalling, I already copied PMDG textures and *cfg sets into Dropbox. Please confirm that the following procedure is appropriate/ 1. Install P3D 2. Install NGX base packages and then T7 base packages 3. Copy and paste "fltsim" entries ONLY from already backed files. 4. Copy and paste the respective textures associated with these entries. I presume that PMDG OpCenter should recognize these entries. Thank you in advance D. Toropove

Can anyone tell me why the FSX 772 is $89.99 and the P3D is $134.99.? Why is there a difference in price please? If those who have already paid for the FSX version, should not we be granted the same price for P3D?

Looking to do a fresh build of FSX (for reasons I don't want to get into) but before beginning wondering if this should be the time to switch to P3D. I have been running FSX in Windows 10, with DX10 Fixer, and mostly fly PMDG aircraft (like 95%+) of the time. I know one tradeoff would be the permanent loss of the MD11 which is a big negative. Using REX, OPUS, PFPX with great results in my existing FSX build. From a developers perspective, could I ask what PMDG and the reader's on this board view as the pro's and con's of FSX or P3D? Hi, I would like to upgrade my 777 to the latest version. To do this it is recommended to first uninstall the original before doing the upgrade. The recommended way is via Control Panel\Programs and Features etc. My problem is that I have installed all my FSX software on Drive F: (C is operating system)So I cannot see any PMDG software under Control Panel. So please advise how I can Uninstall PMDG 777 from Drive F: Windows 10 64 bit system Thanks Frank

Hello: I'm trying to update my 737 NGX to the new SP1D update. When I go to PMDG website they ask me for my order#. I purchased this program from Amazon not PMDGs website. I have no idea how to get this update from them. they offer no assistance. I then went to the forum here and was told and guided to the Aerosoft website and downloaded an update from there but it is an update from march 12, 2013, not the latest update. how do I go about updating this program to the SP1D update that is available on PMDGs website that is not available to me? Hello, after update of Boeing 777 I'm missing menus in PMDG operations center, both for 737 as well for 777. I'm owning versions for P3D only (I'm using v2.5), however it says that I have 737 for FSX and no 777 installed. I made full reinstalation but it didn't help. I'll be grateful for support.

So i'm using PMDG for the first time and are getting familiar with the FMC. Thought I would punch in a small busy route LAX-LAS. Hello everybody, specifically team PMDG Support I've upgraded today from P3D v2.5 to v3.1 and wanted to download the latest installers from my order history site. I was able to find the orders and download the files for 737_8900 and 777_200LRF, but my order for the 737_6700 is completely missing! Could you please look into where it went? Hi guys I recently encountered a problem I'm using the latest update ver 1.10 I believe I'm running win 7 and fsx deluxe one thing operations manager is only good to add liveries but it doesn't communicate with the ngx my settings changed but I didn't changed them my fuel total was not showing and I went to dingle cabin class operation manager said fuel total and dual class was on but it wasn't I use the fmc to change that after I reinstalled because enen tho my 700 was working properly my 800 wasn't lol.now other problem I'm having is if I load the ngx on a runway my ezdok and mapped keys such as AT won't work but if I move ngx to a gate everything will work and if I mov…

Recently I took the leap of faith to upgrade to Windows 10 however I am now having difficulty with FSX-SE.
