I purchased a new GNS 430 for a PFC X Plane sim. The Aviation stack will not connect to the stack GNS. I am a new owner of the Sim. Does the GNS Hardware have to be purchased by me? Right now the License is in the previous owner's name. The new GNS 430 is in my name.

Hi When setting u my Hotas 4 in the sim there is no picture of the controller on the right of the screen so there are no default keys assignments. Videos with other sticks show a picture and all keys assigned to defaults. Last week, just on one day, my Hotas 4 had the picture and all the assignments, great I thought and started making my own defaults. but the next day, and ever since, it has disappeared. If it worked once why not now. Any ideas please. Cheers Dave

Some folks will recognise the name AuthentiKit. It is actually 4 years to the day since I launched it and released 3D printable files for a Spitfire flight stick as a freeware download. Since then we have grown to a community of 3,000+ many of whom have contributed to the development of additional controls. Always for free download. To celebrate all we have achieved and to showcase how far the Spitfire controls have come I made this video.

To AVSIM I have purchased Switcho Trims, Engines (plus Battery, alternators), and Light Switches modules from Virtual-Fly located in Spain. My Observation: 1. All Switch modules are recognized by my computer's USB ports. 2. Virtual-Fly's "Dashboard" (window) shows all are recognized. 3. I checked to see if they were connected to a COM port and they were. 4. When I select any aircraft, whether default or an add-on not one aircraft switch works. 5. Concentrating only on the Battery and Engine start switches modules, once in a while the battery switch and/or the ignition switch may work, however, sometimes w…

Hey folks, I'm trying to get my CH Throttle quadrant working with MSFS 2024 and it works pretty well so far except that using the throttles (1 and 2) moves the sim throttles all or nothing, in other words, there's nothing between 0 and 100%. I'm using the THROTTLE 1 AXIS binding. Is there a better way to do this? I tried lowering the sensitivity but that doesn't seem to have any effect.

Hello everyone i am wondering if anybody can help me I have pmdgs 737-800 installed on msfs , with honeycombs yoke and throttle controls configured using spadnext which works brilliantly , the thing is I have 2 buttons spare on the yoke which I would like to use to adjust the captains Baro knob qnh up with 1 button and down with the other, but I am unsure about the attributes and how to do this, currently I load up fsuipc to do this, but I think spadnext and fsuipc aren’t meant to work together, and would like to use spadnext only. If anybody could give me a few pointers it would be much appreciated. Richard Sankey

Saw in a video of another simpit builder where he used the Desktop Aviator flaps controller and tied it to a custom made lever bar. My simpit is primarily setup to mock the A2A Comanche but I left the build open to be other small GA single and twins if desired. I had already created an over head trim handle and really wanted a flaps lever. So after seeing this guys video on his build, it put the fire under me to get it done. I found an actual PA24 flaps lever assembly online so the biggest thing was getting a one to one ratio of the flaps lever to coordinate with the detents in the Desktop Aviators flap lever. After a bit of trial and error, I got Flaps up and the 1s…

Hi, I am flying Zibo and recently added to my MCP from PC Flight a light panel from Thai Flight and it is so great that I thought I bring it up here. All the switches from the panel works great, the price is reasonable (around 150 Euros) and the support is top! So a great solution for those who do not have the space or money for a real cockpit but who want to be closer to the reality than with only a PC and Saitek switches... Look at that: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qy4NIsrWfb1BUqFqqIOYAXfG1ZFClCKy/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/14pG71m3Fg4UwSb3MRMPYaInaV1Rfi0WT/view?usp=sharing Here is the Link: B737 P…

Hello i am in need of help since the person who has set my FSUIPC6 controls for my B737NG is not available anymore. I have p3Dv5 on the main computer with FDS Jetmax,Jetmax TQ, Ace Yoke and Saytek rudder pedal hardware. On a second computer I have Sim Avionics to handle the avionics. Everything works fine. I would like to be able to fly, from time to time, a Cessna 172 from A2A but I have only the ailerons and elevator that presently works. No throttle, brakes or rudder . I have read the user manual Aircraft Specific settings section. Since i am not very familiar with computer technology I am afraid to loose the settings already set for my main pla…

I wound up replacing my TM Warthog stick (which broke) with this about 2 months ago. I like it way better than the Warthog. It is also cheaper. This review is for the VKB Gladiator EVO stick, Premium model for $175. (The non premium models have only 1 trigger and one hat is removed and replaced with a pushbutton $135). Every review on Youtube recommends buying the Premium model. The premium module also comes with two modules in the package: "Includes an extra button module for the C1 position and an extra hat switch module for the A1 position, expanding input options for complex game setups." I have not used these modules and am not sure what they are for. Altho…

Hi flyers I am thinking of buying a yoke for the 737 for FS2020 and am aware of various yokes e.g. Thrustmaster, Virpil, Honeycomb, CH Products. I plan to use the yoke primarily for PMDG 737 and the upcoming iFly 737 Max and am interested in your opinions. Based on your yoke purchase and experience, please let me know: a) the yoke that gives the 'best' value in terms of price and performance? b) the yoke that gives the most realistic (high quality) performance regardless of the price?

G'day all, unfortunatley I haven't the time to watch all the Asobo videos and I am wondering if anything has been put ot there about native support for force feedback joysticks & rudders? I have recently purchased the Brunner joystick & rudder pedals & have found in 2020 that I am having some conficts with settings in 2020 & their software - for example the rudder pedals developed a life of thier own with a flutter like crazy - solved when I removed the pedal settings in 2020 - other compatabilty problem have also surfaced. Hence the question about native support in 2024 - I noted that when 2020 came out VR was pretty patchy to say the least…

There's a lot of guidance on the rudder sensitivity (I currently have mine set to the Fenix recommended settings). But there's no guidance on the toe brake sensitivity. Currently mine is set at -40 for the rudder (Z axis). Does anyone have any recommended settings for the right and left toe brakes? At the moment, any application of a little right or left brake sends the aircraft (A320) way to the left or right. The default is definitely way too sensitive. Thanks

Wondering if anyone has had any success in converting Mobiflight profiles for the mini to the WINWING without a good deal of knowledge of LVARs etc. There are a few profiles out there for the miniFCU that haven't been replicated for the WW FCU, I did notice from looking at the profiles that the Winwing seems to have more "buttons" while the mini appears to be mostly rotary encoded. Is there an easy way to do this? I'm beginner at SPAD/Mobi at best.

Virpil developing yokes for the GA market with more GA equipment to follow. Shame not FFB at the moment but good to see another high tier manufacturer getting on board... https://forum.virpil.com/index.php?/topic/21852-advanced-flight-yoke-project-briefing/

I have had the Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick Airbus edition for almost 2 years now and for the most part it has worked good. But now I am having to collaborate the stick every 3 or 4 weeks. Is this normal or is the stick starting to break? The stick I had before this I had for years and hardly ever had to collaborated it.

Hi all I'm new to the forum but not new to simming (fsx) back in the day. Can anyone that have used one tell me what I would need to do to make the logitech 3d pro work with msfs2020 and will it work in win 11. I have had some confusing advise. Some say I need logitech drivers others say one should not use your the drivers. Some say it drifts or need to be often calibrated some say it often gives problems ? Does this joystick work ? If not would it work or work better if downgrade back to win 10 ?

Looks like the reverser on Throttle #1 of my Honeycomb Bravo no longer works. The throttle lever works, the button when put back into the detent works but pulling the reverser lever and no signal. All others work. Any options to fix this? If not I guess I will either have to move the throttles over 1 or fake it and just use one reverser for both.

Right thrust lever works on axis but left is either full or idle and shows in the usb game controller as buttons 10/11. In-game settings shows L-AXIS X in white a white box, not black. Reinstalled the drivers, googled, faq's etc, all that, but no success. I'm out of ideas folks so I'm asking for your thoughts, please.
