It would be nice if controllers had a slider for the aircraft throttle but they don't. So how is it done?

Hey everyone, We’re excited to share the latest on our G1000 TNxi Touch—and this time, the focus is all about three things: Touchscreen capability, Multi-Profile flexibility, and Native Avionics integration. 🖥️ Touchscreen – A First for G1000 Sim Panels For the first time at this price point, the G1000 TNxi features a fully integrated touchscreen option. It lets you interact directly with supported avionics like TDS GTN 750/650, G3X etc. Whether you’re a tactile knob person, or prefer modern touch workflows, both styles are covered here. 🔄 Multi-Profile Support – Switch Avionics on the Fly This is a game-changer for instructors, streamers, and any…

I have MSFS 2020 and I have been using the Logitech Radio Panels for a couple of years. A couple of days ago, there was a a simulator update, and after I updated the sim, the radio panels no longer worked. No lights - dead. The radio panel in the sim works fine. I uninstalled the plug in, I installed the latest plug-in, I pulled the USB out, re-started everything. Plugged in the USB and nothing. I have tried different airplanes. I moved the USB to a different port on the back of my computer, nothing. I uninstalled the plug in, re-downloaded the latest plug in, connected the Radio Panel USB, started up the sim.... dead. I saw some recommendations for using a paid program …

I am considering getting a Thrustmaster SOL-R (1) joystick for use with MSFS-2024 and have a few questions, maybe someone uses one of these and can answer my questions: Towards the front of the base there are two switches on either side, labelled 1-2, 3-4, 12-13, 14-15. Are they momentary switches with a neutral center position, rather than being e.g. either at position 1 or 2? IOW, you can push the left-most one forward once to create a "switch no. 1" event and then the leaver returns back to its neutral position? If yes, can one assign an auto-repeat function to it if it is held in place for a little while? The knob labelled 9-10-11 at the left-rear, can one …

I am wondering what the difference is between the URSA MINOR Airline Joystick L and WINWING Orion2 Airbus A3XX except the price. I heard of a RL Pilot that the URSA one is supposed to be excellent but what about the Orion 2? Is there anything out there that considered the best under 500 USD/Euro?

Curious if anyone has purchased this and what your thoughts are on it? They have some back in stock now, so I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on it. However it is expensive, and I've only been able to find one YouTube video of it in use (though that was quite positive). I'd be looking to use it in MSFS20/24 with the PMDG 737s and 777s, iFly MAX, maybe others. https://www.flightsimpm.com/web-store/737-Throttle-Quadrant-v2-5-p33600129 Thanks! Dave

Hi all, My ProDeskSim Boeing 737 throttle levers for the Honeycomb Bravo arrived yesterday, and I’ve been trying to get everything properly configured in MSFS 2020. I’m currently struggling with two main things: Engine Cutoff/Idle Add-on: I can’t seem to bind the cutoff levers correctly. Each lever only registers as a single button press, and I’m not sure how to properly map them to the PMDG 737’s fuel cutoff logic. Reverse Thrust Levers: I also can’t figure out the best way to bind the reverse levers. Would love to set them up to behave more like the real 737 as much as possible If any has an existing profile for axis and ohs which I have or how I can get…

Finally got my MCDU the other day from Winwing. It works fine with the Fenix A320 and Simapp in MSFS2020. Not so with the iFly. I hear, though, that it is now compatible with Simapp, but nowhere that I could find does it say how. I have the MCDU and iFly working with Mobiflight and Python, but it was a chore to get it there. So, my question is this: Is there a way to link the MCDU and iFly Max8 through Simapp? Or do I keep using Mobiflight and Python? The Youtuber whose video I watched for instructions on Mobiflight says he no longer uses Mobiflight because it is now compatible with Simapp, and Mobiflight is no longer necessary. He just doesn't say how he does i…

I consider myself an expert on flight sims, hardware, and everything that keeps a sim running well on a pc. I still run MSFS on Win 10. Here's my current puzzle: I fly the FSS B727 with a custom made quadrant. The other night I made a flight and the throttles worked fine. The next day, the throttles on ONLY the B727 refuse to work. When I move the throttles, the aircraft's throttles start vibrating and go back to idle. The quadrant appears normal in Win game controller, and it works on all other msfs aircrafts. I've reinstalled the B727 and gone back to an earlier FSUIPC version, but nothing has changed. I have a support ticket with the deve…

I am writing you to seek assistance regarding an issue I am experiencing with the VRINSIGHT MCP Combo (Boeing version 1) in conjunction with SPADNEXT. Configuration: - MSFS2020. - FSS (FlightSim Studio) E-Jets Embraer 190 MSFS 2020 official version. - SPAD.NEXT official version: 0.9.22.0. - VRINSIGHT Combo Panel Boeing version 1. I installed SPAD.NEXT and it recognized the VRINSIGHT Combo Panel on COM 4 port (SPAD.NEXT-DEVICES-SERIAL DEVICES - COM4 115200 2000ms VRINSIGHT). I installed a profile for the FSS E-Jets Embraer 190 in SPAD.NEXT. There are actually, three buttons working on the VRINSIGHT Combo Panel. I tried to assign new events, via SPAD…

Hi everyone, I wanna share my little project - a modular rumbler/shaker for a T.16000M joystick (the plan is to have adapters for other joysticks as well). I would really appreciate your feedback, tips and thoughts. 🙏 Basic info: Supports MSFS with a help of a simple program Supports DCS and for now runs only on native FFB HID protocol (no software interface needed) 3D printed drop-in replacement (just remove 3 screws and put it on) Uses an XBox gamepad rumble motor Connected to PC via USB port, no external power needed Should be possible to mount to most joysticks and yokes (columns) Photos and video of the proto…

Pre-orders are open! 😜 >45 days! Ouch! The wait will be long, but the pleasure will be even greater when we'll receive them! For the moment I have pre-ordered the MCDU and the B737's FMC, even though at this price we would be tempted to order all 4 units! Good job, Winwing !! Edit: I find it very appreciable that Winwing only charges its sales when the products are available and not upon ordering. In my eyes, this is a guarantee of seriousness.

Hi Had to unplug the Thrustmaster Airbus Throttles for a week. Just tried to fly with them and the throttles are not detected by flight sim, thrustmaster control panel, SPAD.nxt. The only program that detects the throttles is the thrustmaster firmware updater which says the throttles are in a "boot" mode. How do I get the throttles out of boot mode? Many thanks Mark

A quick, general question regarding controller axes sensitivities in MSFS 2024. Do you find that the sensitivity settings in MSFS 2020 are a good fit for MSFS 2024 or do significant changes need to be made ? I have the TCA hardware but feedback for other controllers is welcome as well. Thanks.

i read thru this topic from 2018. thread is archived or i would ask this in that thread instead of starting a new one. Issue: as soon as mains come off the ground the plane rolls right with no input from me. Solutions i have tried: i recalibrated my stick. reassigned the axis in fsuipc. even put a null zone. i can not think of anything else i can do. even thought it happens with single engine and twin engines i still double checked to make sure the throttles are providing equal thrust. Equipment. Full virpil hotas - WarBRD-D Base w/Constellation ALPHA Prime grip. I am using FS9 (2004) and using fsuipc 3. i am really only having 1 issue but bei…

I have my old Saitek Cessna Flight Yoke which I loved, but can't get it to work in Windows 10. Any suggestions? Thanks P.S. I did install the 64 bit driver from Saitek, but to no avail.

Just to clarify, I have the Logitech Flight Yoke System, which includes the yoke and a throttle quadrant (connected directly to the yoke via PS/2). Everything worked perfectly. Now, as I'm training for my Multi-Engine rating, I thought about adding a second throttle quadrant to improve the experience. So I bought a used one. But the moment I connected it and slightly moved one of the throttles, everything went crazy. Buttons and controls in the virtual cockpit started activating randomly. I downloaded the Logitech mapping software, and when I connected the used quadrant, I saw all kinds of input combinations switching rapidly on their own—it was complete chaos. …
