My wife, bless her, gave me a Thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS joystick and throttle for Xmas. Super bit of kit but no rudder control! Can anyone recommend a set of rudder pedals that are compatable with this joystick.RgdsSteve H

I'm a relative noobie, but I'm considering upgrading my "Logitech Force 3-D Pro" joystick to a yoke and pedals. I fly prop planes of the '30's and '40's -- especially DC-3 variants and a MK-1 Spitfire and the Boeing 314 ("Clipper") flying boat. I've ordered a Dell XPS 730X (2.93 GHz with 8 MB cache) to upgrade the computer used. I expect I'll stick with FS9 at least for a few more years.Question 1. I love the force-feedback feature of my joystick. Do any of the yokes have this -- or do experienced simmers not miss it when they no longer have it? For me, the absence of vibration from wheels or hull at the moment of takeoff is an enjoyable bit of realism. Question 2…

Im int he market for a yoke and am seriously considering the CH Eclipse, however, I like the fgact that Saitek uis Metal and not plastic. My Saitek sticks, in the past, have not lasted long while my CH stick/throttle/pedals have last me quite a long time and are still fucntioning extremely well. Of course, I have not owned a Saitek in a while so things may have changed with them quality wise. Opinions/comments/experiences?Thanks for your time!

I have the Saitek Pro Flight yoke, as well as the registered version of FSUIPC. Whenever I set a lever to the mixture axis through FS9 settings, it shows up as set to "Y Rotation". However, the lever does nothing to control mixture. I have tried to configure through FSUIPC also with similar or worse results (ie: Pedal brakes becomes mixture axis). What would be proper way to configure this?

I have a Toshiba Laptop that I occasionally use on trips, if my desktop is on the blink, when I need something portable etc. It came with the abundance of Toshiba addon junk that is a pain in the XXXX at times if you know what I mean. Of course, all I have with it is the Manufacturer's OEM instalation CD which includes all of the stuff I am not interested in at all. I have intended to get another XP package for some time and replace the Operating System, which I did. I installed it, and then from the Toshiba CD installed only the drivers I needed to run the associated hardware. My purchase included the following:XP Pro Full InstallationSecond disk with SP2Price: $54.…

Good day,I recently purchased a CH Products USB Yoke, and when in the Virtual Cockpit view (of any A/C) I feel like the direction of the hat switch when panning (looking) around is opposite of what I think it should be with regards to the up/down direction. For example, if I want to look down I must pull the POV hat switch back (towards) myself, and if I want to look up I must push it forward (away). I feel like it should be the opposite, push (away) for down, pull (towards) for up.The yoke works fine, and is calibrated correctly with all buttons functioning as expected. For all other views the POV works as I would expect it to.Q: Does anyone know a way to swap the up/down…

I watch a couple of videos at youtube and it seems like both yokes have to be moved quite a bit before the aircraft reacts. Is there a way to set the yoke sensitivity to be more responsive? Also the CH I believe has only one throttle control? What about mult-engined aircraft? With the Saitek Pro Flight you can have quadrant units. But they must take up a lot of space and the clamping system looks like it needs a lot of space too.If you have these products can you enlighten me? Thanks.

Here is my configuration:Windows Vista 32 bits FSX Flightsim yoke LE USB connection Driver CHproducts V30 Vista onlyMy problem: FSX does not keep my calibration. When I close the game or make another flight the calibration has to be done over again. I have even lost my calibration in the middle of a flight. Is there a way of ensuring that my calibration will be memorized and kept once and for all?
