Hardware Controllers: Joysticks/Yokes | Throttle Quads | Rudder Pedals | Drivers etc

This is a forum to discuss issues with Joysticks, pedals, yokes, other interface hardware like panels, etc.

  1. (Host -- Please feel free to relocate this string if I have placed it in the wrong area!) I am hoping that any Simionic G1000, or the newer NXi, Apps and related hardware bezels users might want to use this thread to share questions and answers we may have concerning the products operation, as well as parameters used in the aircraft "customization" function, to setup novel aircraft (i.e., those not included in the Apps). This is meant to be a productive tool to assist Simionic owners in realizing the maximum utilization and benefit of their Apps and/or hardware. Please do not use this string to discuss the manufacturer and/or thoughts about the vendor -- Thank …

Anyone who’s followed the AuthentiKit story probably associates it with Spitfires and other warbirds. Also, even though it’s freeware, you need your own 3d printer. Well things have moved on. This recent video by Simhanger reviews a new AuthentiKit TPM based on the Piper Comanche and there’s now an option that doesn’t require a 3D printer.

Hi Everyone.. I just bought a Throttle A320 from FlightSIM. I tried to configure it but it's still having problems. I've contacted the seller but there's no solution yet. Can anyone help me. how do I add an image here? 1. when I run LINDA, there is an error message *FSUIPC Files not found!* and I don't know how to fix it? 2. I use P3D V5, FSUIPC V6(Official registration) Fslabs A320SL aircraft addons, and Throttle A320 from FlighPM 3. I'm willing to pay if anyone can help me, I'm really confused

  7. The Boeing version desk clamp can be used with the Airbus throttle quadrant as long as you have the flap/speed-break modules or two throttle modules (4 engine) side buy side. This saves on weight and cost of the additional bulky flying clamp from Thrustmaster (which I also own). Image for reference https://ibb.co/26vX0Dr

I’ve used my throttles and switches in all my GA aircraft. No duplicate binds. I’ve tried MSFS controls and or FSUIPC. NONE of my airliner AEROSOFT CRJ, PMDG737,FENIX A320, default 787. I’ve got throttle and yoke just flickering back and forth. I’ve deleted MSFS profiles to make sure there are no duplicates. The flaps and spoiler levers work as intended. Can’t use switches at att like strobes and nothing with throttles. I’d prefer to fly some airliners but right now I’m stuck with GA. I’ve made sure none of my other hardware is plugged in.

Hi Guys, I am working through some Hardware, mainly from FSC or Open Cockpits. They need 12V and 5V power supplies.m As I was trying to test items, I have bought these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09LC87WYT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details However, I don't think these are up to the job? For example, I am getting intermittent power issues, 'blinking' of LED's etc. So I was wondering what other people have been using reliably/successfully for their 12V and 5V options? Thanks! Neil

Hello, I am selling my FCU from FSCockpit. Unit is fully functionable and in very good shape (like new). Encoders have push/pull mechanism. Unit is being connected via USB only. See pictures here: FCU 1.JPG 20240323_170047969_iOS.jpg 20240323_170117506_iOS.jpg PM me with your price proposal, should you be interested. Current price in FSCockpit shop is 850 EUR minimum. I have used it with Jeehell FMGS and can provide the driver and installation guide. I believe it's also compatible with ProSim and others, but not sure. Pease consult FSCockpit, should you want to use it with another system than Jeehell. Regards, Michael

  13. I am looking at replacing my existing CH Flightstick Pro with another joystick, and I was wondering if any AVSIM members use the Turtle Beach Velocity One Flightstick? I fly the PMDG 737-600, and I am looking for a joystick that provides smooth and fluid motion without "sticking" in both the main axes, and also the throttle wheel. I know that the Velocity One has many other functions available (certainly more than the Flightstick Pro), so I am just looking for opinions on the build quality and overall sensitivity.

I am looking for a throttle quadrant that I can use for airbus and boeing airplanes. However, as I heard the use cheap components that are likely to break after two years, also it's not clear if the company will exist anymore. What is your suggestion in that sitation? are there any alternatives in that price range I can use both airframes with or should I just go with the bravo as long as they still have them on stock?

Heyo. Old flight-simmer here. Getting back into the fun (I had an old handle here years ago, and I stopped paying for that email address). Just trying to get all the old hardware online again. It's been at least 15 years or so... I played in the old days, 2004, then did real pilot c172 word not allowed around the same year(s). I did the serious sim stuff when the saitek pro flight yoke came out (after I did my time with WoW =p). I was the lucky ebay buyer of an old Precision Flight Control Cirrus yoke for very very cheap (from back when they used serial ports, not usb). I converted the yoke back in ~2010ish to USB with a BU0836A board/interface, an…

  19. Can I hook up two of the same pedals (logitech) and use them independently and not at the same time? Will windows 11 allow this or will it be confused and there will be issues? My fall back plan, since I will never use them both at the same time is to simply just use the same USB port to plug in whichever one I want to use for that flight but would rather just keep them both plugged in all the time. Many thanks to any and all help.

  20. Hello all, This is a desperate cry for help to anyone who might know how to fix or modify game controllers. I have a nosewheel tiller that, since it was delivered back in January, keeps randomly dumping its calibration. It's hella frustrating! In a nutshell, I was gypped (or scammed) by the Prime Cockpits guy. My wife got it for me for Christmas. I'm looking for a way to either fix or modify it so that it's not dumping its calibration every few hours (or less) anymore. It clearly has a crappy, jittery, unstable potentiometer. I was hoping someone might be able to explain a way to fix this; maybe I can replace the pedometer with a digital one inst…

Hi all, As I got some money in hand, I was thinking of getting one or both the MCDU's below to enhance my flight sim experience with some of my favorite aircraft addons in P3Dv5 and Xplane 12 (please see the links below): https://www.aerosoft.com/en/shop/flight/hardware/instruments/3444/cockpit-simulator-cs-737x-cdu (thinking of using it for the PMDG 737, 777 and 747 as well as the Zibo 737 and the 737-300 from IXEG) https://javasimulator.com/product/airbus-mcdu-version-3-0/ (thinking of using it for the FSLabs airbus lineup as well as the Toliss A340) Does anyone have any feedback on how these two CDU's work with P3Dv5 and Xplane 12, i.e. are they go…

  24. Hi Guys, Challenge of the day has arrived. I bought a used FSC Semi-Pro (this product), which seems to have been upgraded to a Motorised version by the seller..... I am having an issue in that I can't find any drivers for it, so its impossible for me to test if its working at all - let alone run it with Prepar3D. Eventually the plan will be to link it up to Prosim - but I am not entirely sure if the in-built FSC drivers are correct to make it work. Currently Prosim 'sees' it, its come up in red green on the list of Comm Ports, but I can't seem to make it move via Prosim - but I don't know if Prosim has the ability to do this? So..... I wond…

Has anyone found a good cable with a slim micro usb connector to use with the MiniFCU? The included cable fits well but of course is comically short in length. I bought a 3ft cable off Amazon which mostly works but I realized I can easly wiggle it and lose connection because the plastic around the connector is much chunkier and won't slide into the metal housing and I'd like to get a cable that just works instead of trying to shave down the one I bought.
