Hot off the Press from GoFlight: As of January 15, 2019, GoFlight Technologies has sold to a new owner. The decision to sell the company was not an easy one. The past eight years have been wonderful and I will relish the relationships made and the adventures flight simulation offered. Ultimately, the decision to sell the company came from the need to reallocate personnel and resources to other companies and assets underneath the ownership group. As many of you may have noticed the low inventory levels and wondered what might be going on with GoFlight Technologies. Rumors surfaced of shutting doors. Our plan was to always support our customers. In early 2018, …

Hello all, I posted the following on the general discussion forum but, as I got no response, I am assuming I have posted in the wrong arena. This is a problem which is making XPlane 11 unflyable for me. I have no idea on what the problem is, nor do I have any idea regarding how to fix it. "I am really hoping to get some guidance here with this problem. I am unable to centre the yoke (roll) on my Saitek yoke in calibration mode. The output readings for Pitch is 0.5000-0.5000. In flight this is quite OK Roll outout is .0.1992-0.1996. In flight I roll dramatically to the left and to achieve level flight I am using the yoke fully right…

Hello! In the past I used the pro flight yoke with its throttle quadrant. But the throttle quadrant isnt working anymore. In the meantime I switched to the Warthog Joystick. But as I dont like to map prop and throttle to the warthogs both throttle levers I wondered if there is a "stand alone" throttle quadrant with throttle - propeller - mixture levers out there? The pro flight throttle is only connectable via the yoke, unfortunately not via USB. But I didnt find much on my searches. Thank you!

I have my Logitech G X52 Hotas working well in P3Dv4 using FSUIPC to assign and calibrate axes. I have not installed the Logitech software and am reluctant to because I am not sure that the drivers will cooperate with FSUIPC. I am also not sure they can be readily uninstalled and the Windows drivers reinstated as others have reported problems trying to do so. So why am I writing? Its the lights. You can't control them without the Logitech software. And the mutifunction display is not backlit so I can't use the timer. The mouse joystick does not work either. So can I install the Logitech software and still use FSUIPC with the stick? Thanks Steve P.

Hi, one thing I'm wondering for a long time now with my setup is the calibration of my game controllers (or the lack thereof). I have a Saitek Cyborg X joystick and Thrustmaster TRFP rudders. Both of them seem to loose their calibration on driver level every time I shut down Windows (I run Win10). If I start P3D or DCS World (both exactly the same behaviour), all the joystick and rudder axis respond erratic and very jumpy. To get back good and smooth axis response, I have to move all axis full positive and negative travel. Then everything is okay and I can go flying, as if in the background the controllers get self-calibrated by doing this. Because it's thi…

This is a solution I designed to address the problem of not being able to see the lighting panel switch nomenclature on my Honeycomb Alpha. It is a light bar consisting of 6 tiny LEDs that use 5V USB cord for power. If you have a 3D printer you can make it for a little over $10 . Hi guys, need your help please.Out of the sudden I'm having troubles using the hat-switch for paning around in the cockpit on my Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas One Joystick together with Prepar3D V4.5. I only can use the hat-switch for looking up and nothing else. Can't pan around anymore. I've already deleted the key assigments for the views and started from scratch assigning the keys. Without luck. Using the Windows10 calibartion tool, the hat-switch works as it should...in all directions. The only tool is use, is AivlaSoft's Simple Cam, but this works without using the hat-switch. Do I really have to purchase a new joystick? Any ideas are welcome:) Many thx in a…

I need some help. I have a new computer build - ASUS Z390-E, i9900K, 32GB RAM, EVGA RTX 2060 card. I have a recurring (i.e., never completed a flight) CTD issue when the GoFlight Config s/w is used. I'm using version 2.28 downloaded fresh from the GoFlight website. I have the follow modules: MCP PRO, EFIS, GF-LGT II, a 166 four unit COMM & NAV package, and a 46 multifunction XPDR/ADF etc. unit. Event Viewer shows the following information: Applicaiton Event ID 1000 Error: Faulting application name: Prepar3D.exe, version: 4.5.13.32097, time stamp: 0x5d8abf93 Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.18362.418, time stamp: 0x99ca0526 Ex…

Happy New Year everyone!!!! I just completed a new build and i'm in the process of reloading all my p3dv4 software. I went from Win 7 to Win 10 (new install, not an upgrade). I saved some of the old profiles that I used w/ p3dv4. Initially i had some issues getting the CH Control Manager to recognize my controllers were plugged into the USB ports, but after some research online, i found that typing the word "STORE" into the search window in Win 10 and hitting enter makes the controllers visible to the control manager. Unfortunately for me even though, I imported my old profiles and I can download them to the controllers and i get the message "download successful"…

Hey guys, Just wanted to let you know that I have designed and produced a batch of clip boards for the Honeycomb Alpha flight controls. its 100mm wide x 175 mm tall, comes assembled with a clip and is foam padded to not mess up the finish on the Alpha. It was made in part using 3D scanning to get the exact contours of the yoke, so it fits in place and stays there - doesn't add any weight either. Please see the link below: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/765550937/honeycomb-aeronautical-alpha-yoke

FSX:SE user. Has anyone else come across the phenomenon of a distinct lack of overall braking force with these pedals? The differential braking appears to be good, however when both toe brakes are operated together, the aircraft (I've tried the default Cessna, Carenado 337 and Sky Sim MD-11) doesn't decelerate as quickly as it does if I just press the trigger on the stick. Calibration appears to be OK. I have anti-skid enabled, so no locked wheels. Mods: I did pose this question within my More Stick & Rudder post, but was afraid it may get overlooked, hence I've created this post. Hope that's OK.

Was looking at the HC TQ (see pic below) when comparing it to other options and would like clarification on a few things if possible: 1. Should I assume the programmable switches are the same type of SPDT switches as on the HC yoke, so each switch represents two logic switches but if one is on the other is off? On the other hand, if these are momentary contact type rocker switches that would be better because then you can use each physical switch to independently control two functions (one function would not have to be off when the other is on). 2. On the right side of the AP panel there is a rotary potentiometer, labeled DECR/INCR, and on the left side of the…

I fly mostly twin props. I have the CH Products Throttle Quadrant. I believe in real world A/C, it is easy using the left and right throttle In sync, keeping the levels so the RPM is equal. I find it more difficult to accomplish this with the CH Throttle Quadrant levers. Does it just take more practice, or is the throttle too sensitive? Do they a make a clip to keep the left and right throttle levers together? Thanks!

Hey Guys. Just got the MFG Crosswind. Still in the box. Before I jump in. I've never had rudder pedals for the sim. Any specific tips getting these to work with P3DV4 and registered FSUIPC?

My kids bought me a great present this year - a set of Thrustmaster TFRP rudder pedals. No longer do I have to use the proportional rocker switch on the HOTAS X throttle.

Does anyone know something that worth to buy for no more than 100/120? If it comes with flaps and spoilers levers much better but I'm just ok with 2 for throttles. Please not the saitek/logitech one, I already had one of those and they are garbage. Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I'd be very interested in your experiences in mapping Saitek hardware to addon aircraft. I'm using the Yoke, 2 Throttle Quadrants, all 3 panels and 6 FIDs with SPAD.Next and find there is a great deal of variability in getting addon aircraft to respond to the hardware. My best result so far has been Flight 1's King Air (awesome aircraft!) and I've had minimal luck with Carenado products. I'd like to expand my fleet and obviously want to buy a plane that gets me the most use from my hardware investment. What do you folks recommend? Many thanks Warwick

It's been a few years but I'm trying to get back into siming. The last program I ran was Widows XP. I now have Windows 10. When trying to download my throttle quadrant I get a message "device Description Request Failed". I have researched this problem and have tried just about everything I could find to correct this problem. Is it me or has Windows 10 done something that doeskin allow this device to be recognized? I sure would like to use my throttle quadrant but ism beginning to think I'm wasting my time. Someone please tell me i'm wrong and give me a fix to this nightmare. .

I've finally purchased a new stick/throttle (T16000M) and want to get it setup. Been using an old AV8R for years. Obviously I'm now going to have a wealth of buttons/switches/hats etc to map giving me more options than I had in the past. But I was wondering if any of you P3D airline pilots have any suggestions for button mappings. IE, use the wheel on the throttle for spoiler. Or things like that. Another example question. Now I will have a main throttle and the small slider throttle at the base of the stick. Do you guys just map both to throttle so you have the option of adjusting throttle on both. Same kind of redundant question with the twist z axis. I alread…

Hey anyone messed with any of the throttletek throttle quads? Been keeping an eye out for a decent A320 quad and this seems to be pretty slick for the price. Considering its coming with, flaps, spoilers, parking brake, start switches ect, to me that might be worth the price of admission if its quality and works 100% with the FSL bus. The link for it''s here: https://throttletek.com/a320-flightbox-v2/

I own a Saitek Cessna Yoke. I'm not sure why, but the Windows 10 USB Game Controller app doesn't list toggles/buttons 9-10-11. There is also no corresponding 9-10-11 toggle/buttons on the yoke. Not much I can do about that, but I am wondering if the connectors still exist on the system board, but are unused. Perhaps someday I will open my yoke to check, but in the meantime I'm hoping that someone has already opened their yoke and might know the answer. Thanks..

Are there any simple alternative methods (im not skilled working with my hands) for mounting the Logitech/Saitek throttle quadrant to my desk without using it's C-clamp (which gets in the way of my keyboard tray)?
