  3. As all CH HOTAS users know Sticky provided a CM PRINT program which with a mouse click draws a graphical representation of your controllers' assignments and prints in which command is at each button or hat, such as... It took about 5 seconds to display the CH map image, you don't have to draw anything or type anything into boxes. CH MAP does all that for you in one mouse click. Is there something like CM PRINT for the Thrustmaster Warthog? i.e a utility that makes a chart of all your assingments that you can print and tack to the wall while flying (to help you remember what all the controls do in the profile you made.

My question is how to ground yourself before using the TM equipment? Is just touching the back of a desktop PC case enough? I wonder what somebody on a laptop would do (there are plenty of laptops good enough to run FSX). Reason I ask is that I am getting my new TM Warthog up and running in FSX. I searched around Avsim forums and found this (below). I hate to ruin hundreds $ worth of hardware 😞 "There is however one potential problem lurking in all of them. They are *very* sensitive to static discharge. I bricked the stick in my first my set accidentally by touching it after walking across some carpet. The shock from my finger killed it instantly and it…

  5. I'm using CH rudder pedals on my Just Flight BAe164 home built cockpit. When taxiing, I often experience the brakes coming on even though I haven't applied them (i.e.I'm not pressing the tops of the pedals). Differential breaking works fine and doesn't seem to be the cause of the problem. Some days are worse than others. I've checked all my sim control settings and even reset them, but nothing seems to clear the problem. I've also tried re-calibrating the pedals and brake setting. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas about what might be causing this problem......the pedals are about 15 years old, but I wouldn't say they've been thrashed to bits with use. Look f…

I have been flight simming for a couple of years since retiring. I'm afraid I haven't ventured very far since the early days, FSX Steam & default aircraft etc. I do have a GF-MCP PRO which I am very happy with. I am now thinking of expanding/updating (P3D perhaps) and even adding hardware to my setup, possibly EFIS. One thing I keep encountering is 'Pollypot Goflight Interface Tool' But I can't for the life of me work out exactly what it does. I have tried watching a couple of video tutorials but they just confuse me even more. (Might be an age thing!) I would be very grateful if some one could explain to me in plain language what Pollypot GIT does. Many Thanks …

Hi-I've had MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals for 18 months and think they are great with the props I exclusively fly. Lately, I've considered the Brunner CLS-E yoke, which folks have said is night and day better than anything else out there. Not heard much about Brunner's rudder pedals, though. Anyone have these who would be willing to comment on how they compare to the MFG or whatever rudder pedals they had previously? Thanks, much. Jay

Hey, this problem has been going on for a while, and after searching the internet far and wide, I have no solution. Problem: My Saitek Yoke keeps disconnecting mid flight, doesn't happen all the time, about 40% of the time I'm able to do 1-4 hour flights on either the PMDG 777/737 without the yoke disconnecting. Video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNzQOhDE9Xg The yoke disconnects, the plane's PFD and EICAS freeze, it just freezes at the position they were at the moment the yoke disconnects. If the plane was in a turn during the disconnect, it will keep turning, A/P doesn't work. Mouse is not usable at ALL. Clicks won't register anywhere, and everytime the m…

Hi, I'm tempted to buy a new Throttle. My present CH Pro Throttle, calibrated via FSUIPC, has a response which is far from linear. I haven't been able to construct a curve which will eliminate dead areas at either end of its travel. I would very much like to have a throttle with a smooth continuous response throughout its movement. I fly mostly twin turboprops and a 737. I'd really appreciate some advice about achieving accurate throttle control. I already have a Thrustmaster Warthog Stick and MFG Crosswind pedals. Regards, Jim H.

Hello, I just bought the HOTAS Warthog and the TFRP Rudder pedal. It's very hard for me to configurate them via the Prepar3D controller tab and via the TARGET Software. Can someone please send me a profile for these products for Prepar3D v4.5 ? (The profile can be via TARGET or P3D.) One last question: is in FSUIPC it easier to configurate the joystick and throttle ? Thanks

  12. Hello, This is a very common issue, how Saitek flight panels do not seem to work with PMDG planes, and I cannot find a solution. Many discussions on this topic are from a few years ago and I am not sure if they are still relevant. I have tried following many guides and tutorials but with little success. I am trying to get a PMDG 737NGX Winglets to work with a Saitek Switch Panel, a Saitek Multi Panel and, a Saitek Radio Panel. I already have the Pro Flight Yoke and Throttle but they already work. I use FSX:SE. I would be very grateful if someone could assist me in resolving this issue. If you need any additional information then please tell me and I will try m…

Hi everyone Ever since I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 I have never successfully been able to get my GoFlight modules to work consistently ... well apart from my MCP Pro which doesn't seem to have an issue Yes ... I have tried everything suggested ..... USB Power management software ..... Plug into USB 2.0 and not USB3.0 ... Turn off USB3.0 support in the Bios ... use powered USB hubs ... the list in endless but still no joy!! I have just updated my Win 10 to the 'Creators Edition' and thought hmmmm this might be the answer ..... but guess what ... They still do not work!! I am running Prepar3D V4 and I am at a complete loss ..... disil…

  14. Hello, I intend to buy a new yoke. As I know that the PMDG 747-400 has problems with some yokes, is there anyone who has a YOKO + yoke and who is using it successfully with the PMDG 747-400 for P3D V4 ? I am waiting for an answer before ordering the YOKO + yoke. Thank you in advance. Gérard

Hi, I am going through a complete S/W install and from Windows 7 to Windows 10, oh what a headache. I have three Logitech/Saitek panels and am trying to make them work. Installed the drivers from Logitech, but no go. the device control panels show up and the lights will come on for a few seconds and the off. Trouble shooting indicates that these panels require USB 2 connections. My M/B is a Asus Rog Strix E390-E which seem to have mostly USB 3 ports. Can anyone confirm that only USB 2 ports work with these devices????? I thought that these ports are backward compatible??. I just had my PC upgraded from an 7 year old processor to a 9700K. I fly X-Plane 11 on an iMac and use a Saitek joystick for flight control. With all of my aircraft except the Carenado PC-12 the throttle lever on the joystick generates positive thrust from 0 to 100% unless I engage reverse thrust with the assigned button. On the PC-12 the throttle lever range includes reverse thrust, which makes it nearly impossible to reduce throttle to flight idle on descents without accidentally engaging reverse thrust. Does anyone know of a way to modify this throttle behavior? Thanks, Orion515

Is anyone here at AVSIM using XPForce from the developers of FSX Mission Editor? I am Using XPForce Build 1.0.7633 but could not feel any feedback. I ran the DXDIAG and saved all information and my FF Yoke is listed with FF Driver installed. On the XPForce UI in Prepar3D on the "Feedback" tab the "Joystick Active" box was greyed out. I reinstalled the software and entered the licence and there was a check mark in the checkbox, it seems that the program run's in demo mode for 10 minutes and is then disabled. Uninstalling clears the registry of all traces of XPForce for Prepar3D v4.5 I had to correct the path which was added to the dll.xml in the Program Data …

  19. Hello you all, After lovely 6 years with the great Saitek Rudder Pedals, once I had landed suddenly there was a "Click" sound from it. It felt like the left pedal lost its spring. So when I opened it, there was a spring not in his place, and a broken hook shape plastic. After a quick exam of the situation I understood that I have to find a new part: The part who connect between the spring and the potentiometer. There are photos of the rudder and the broken hook. If someone, please, can help me find the part. there is no spare parts shop for Saitek. If I have to, I'll pay for it. Thank you very much.

I have used the above for several years and recently it started to play up on the above two axes becoming unuseable. They are hyper sensitive and jump around when you move them making it impossible to increase or decrease revs, MP or mixture gradually. I thought it was because the Quadrant was old and had worn out. I purchased a new one and despite uninstalling and reinstalling the new one I have the same problem. I recently installed and the uninstalled the CH Control Manger and I have a sneaky suspicion theat may have caused the problem. I have cleaned the registry and tried to get rid off all references to that. If I use the axes on my yoke to replace the x-and y…

HI, In another post I had mentioned that you could mod the Saitek Throttles to replace the controller with other boards. It was suggested that I provide a post about it. I Modded my 2 Saitek Throttle Quads that are in a Throttle "box" to use a Leo Bodnar 0836X Board. This will combine the 2 into a "single" unit. The Leo0836X is a very nice board. It has 8 12 Bit Axis, a Hat switch and 32 Buttons....so my guess is the naming convention is 08 for Axis 🙂 and 36 for the Buttons 🙂 ..... since the HAT is essentially 4 buttons. Here is my video I did covering it. I will say that even though I am down an Axis (I was never able to get that Arm fixed it broke of…

I have the Saitek yoke and two throttle quadrants installed. I am using Windows 10 and p3d v4.4. All six levers seem to work ok setup with FSUIPC latest version. When I assign a lever to throttles in FSUIPC the throttle will spool up when I advance the lever but in p3d it will return to idle even though I have not moved my Saitek lever back to idle. Help would be appreciated.

  24. I bought this guy a few yeas ago and while I can trim the aircraft beautifully with it when it comes time to land (a Majestic Q400 for example) I can't seem to get the thing to stop porpoising, or take a sudden dive right before touchdown. I am using FSIPC to calibrate the axis and as I say I have nice fine control w/ the wheel while in flight. If yoeu've had good luck making this thing work let me know how! I go back to using one of the toggle switches on the yoke I use which if fine, but I do like the trim wheel better if I could only make it work during landings!

Just started inexplicably today: Assignments X axis - Spoilers (reverse) / Y axis - Engine 1 / Z axis - Engine 2 / R axis - Engine 3 / U axis - Engine 4 / V axis - Flaps (reverse) Calibrates fine with the control manager, but when I open up FSX and run a flight, the moment I touch any of the controls engine 1 goes to 70% and the spoilers to about 15% without me having touched either of those controls. If I push the Y axis forward the flaps will engage the first available position, and then if I pull it all the way back engine 1 will not cut back to idle and won't go back lower than 70%. The flaps will jump around as well without me moving the V axis. Is …
