I have two X56 flight control systems and they are both having the same problem. I would like to find another X56 user to discuss this with. Here is the deal. When I try to fly inverted the plane will not stay in the inverted position. It immediately flips out of that position causing some lose of control and disorientation. The same thing happens when trying to do a roll. As soon as it gets inverted the plane flips out. If I slow the simulation rate to the slowest I can see it snapping out of the inverted position. I have contacted Logitech support but they do not have an FSX or P3D program they can test this with and without them seeing it in action I don't believe we w…

Well I started up the sim computer yesterday, and no response from my Logitech wireless mouse. I have been feeding him/her/it as required, but maybe the "food" was running low. Grabbed a new set of AAs, and nothing. Dead. Asked my son, he replied does it have an on/off switch? Yes it does. Switched it off and on a few times. Dead as a mouse. I couldn't do anything but unplug the computer to turn it off. Hunted around the house today and found a very old Dell mouse hiding in a drawer. That's where mice hid in our house. Plugged it in, and sure enough it works! Back to flying with a live mouse. Ah, the joy! But I would rather have a wireless mouse. Are all of them…

My problem is with the z axis which has worked OK in P3D until today. Now it goes full right but no left or a noisy partial left. Same signals in FSUIPC, Windows calibration or P3D. Am I correct in guessing I have a faulty sensor?

Hi-flying P3Dv4.4 on Windows 7. I use a lot of USB hardware controllers--yoke, rudder pedals, TQ6 throttle quadrant, TPM, and 15 GoFlight modules. Everything was working well, until I had to take the whole sim apart (every piece and cord) and reassemble it. I had marked all the hardware USB ports, so I put them all back in the same ports as before. Now, on a regular basis, the sim freezes for a second or two with no sound, and the Windows "USB Disconnect" sound comes on. Then a few seconds later, the "USB Reconnect" Windows sound comes on and the sim proceeds as normal with sound. This happens 4 or five times in an hour. It's not life threatening, but is very annoyi…

Is there a way to check the output from the rudder pedals to see if some pot has gone bad or whatever else generates the output signals? I’ve had mine for 4 or 5 years and it seems they’ve developed a sudden and seemingly random jerk or pull (or braking) always to the right. It happens enough to be a problem. It seems to happen more in one airplane, maybe because that airplane requires more rudder adjustment to taxi. Thanks. Bruce

Hello, I just added the real sim gear G1000 panel to my sim qwhcih is running FSX SE and Mindstar G1000 addon. I can see the real sim gear addon in FSX addons and all the buttons/knobs give a response so I know the USB drivers are installed correctly but none of the buttons are mapped to the Mindstar G1000.ini file. Realsim did not provide a means to set this up. Does anyone know how to modify the G1000 ini file to correctly map the keyboard inputs over to the Realsim panel? Thanks so much for your help. BTW my machine is running windows 7.

Hi everyone, Installed the Logitech drivers for the yoke. During flight, at various times, the yoke freezes and won’t respond. I did recently install a new 1080ti. I am wondering if this is creating a power issue. I have a 750w power source. I have the yoke plugged directly into the pc. Maybe i need to try a powered usb hub. However, I’ve never had any problems before. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Looking for a recommendation for connecting one keyboard and one mouse amongst three Windows 10 PCs. I found USB switch boxes on Amazon.com that claim they're up to the task. Has anyone here have any experience with a particular product? Thanks.

I hope this is the right forum to post. I've procrastinated for years buying a head tracking device. I don't like the idea to have to shift my eyes 45° back to the left/right after having turned my head that much (poor eyesight). What I wonder is whether a large monitor would help. I sim with a 28" right now. Would going to 40/50" size feel more natural ?

Hello, I have the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, extra throttle quadrant, and rudder pedals. I have come to realize that with each Windows 10 feature update, most recently going to 1903, that after the update the Yoke is non functional. I discover by looking at the Device Manager that the Yoke is not recognized, and there is a message to reinstall the driver. Interestingly though the rudder pedals and extra throttle quadrant show up on the list and in fact work fine in the simulator. Reinstalling the Flight Yoke driver is a torture, as the install always hangs at the point where one would plug in the USB for the yoke, and I have to rediscover the arcane manner in whic…

Hello, i have a huge problem. I live far away from home to study, and when I come back, I play P3D, using multiple Saitek products and I link them to P3D with SPAD. Last february, everything was OK, but now that I came back, my only profile on SPAD has a problem: « Feature SCS is not enabled/avaible » (First question: offensive initials not allowed is this SCS feature?) Since this happened, my switch pannel doesn’t work with my sim, even if I create a new profile and link it to P3D. Also, I bought a multi panel, which seem to work (screen works, I can change values), but does nothing on P3D (except one thing: turning the autopilot off). P…

After failing to be able to use acceleration on my Heading rotary , I have tried to make it toggle between 1 deg steps and 10 deg steps by pressing the button on the rotary. It's for the Aerosoft Airbus and there is a script for toggling the ALT but not the HDG. Therefore I copied the ALT script and adjusted to toggle the HDG but can't get it to toggle. Here is the relevant section... much obliged if someone can help... AB_HDGSTEP_set function AB_HDG_Step_tog () var = ipc.readLvar("AB_HDGSTEP_set") if var == 1 then AB_HDG_Step_1 () else AB_HDG_Step_10 () end end function AB_HDG_Step_1 () …

My aged X52 has reached the point where the joystick only works very intermittently. Using my multi meter I checked for voltage and continuity from the circuit board that the DIN jack on the throttle is attached to, over to the main PCB. It seems the problem is in the DIN jack and so I attempted to direct wire and bypass the jack but... it is time for a new setup. I was thinking of moving away from Saitek, maybe to the Gladiator MKII. I can still use the X52 throttle, and I read a lot of good things about this stick but Saitek seems to be popular on Avsim.

Here is a sample of the LUA actions.lua script from LINDA website for the Aerosoft Airbus A320 that I've been trying to alter with no success (I am not a programmer). Can anyone help please...... Hi, My version of the Realtek HD audio driver is currently 6.0.1.7982. When I click on "update driver", Windows answers that the installed one is already updated. But while searching via Google I found a more recent version v6.0.1.8454. Before installing it, what is the procedure? Do I have to uninstall the old driver first (as I usually do for a video driver) or do I launch the new update directly? Thank you Richard

Hi, i'm new here and i may be searching in the wrong place, i recently purchased a used CH products USB flight sim yoke with hopes to use it with Microsoft flight simulator X for a bit more realistic practice for my airwork. I set it up with flight sim and all controls work perfectly except for elevator pitch, the yoke doesn't recognized any pitching motion when i pull up or push down on the control column. I went on CH products website and downloaded their calibration software but there too, it doesn't recognize any movement about the pitching axis, its like i'm not doing anything, if anyone is familiar with this product any help is appreciated thanks

Here is a video I did for putting together a 3D Printed 737 Gear Handle. I found the files on a website (linked in the video notes) which is not free -- it is a site where designers can post their work and get some money. I also share with you how to make an Arduino a USB Joystick (in this one up to 56 Buttons!!) for wiring up the Gear Lever...Plus you can then use this to expand your sim by adding up to another 54 Buttons or switches :). Hope you guys like it.

Hi guys. I am looking for an assembled panel add on with toggles, switches and rotary encoders that are plug and play with Prepar3d. Would like to clean up all these boxes I have and make things a bit simpler. I remember seeing one here on avsim in the last year but can't find it again. I am aware of and can build it but would rather buy it ready to go.

Evening all. So, as I alluded to on other threads. I have sold on the Subaru car seat and frames with adjustable table that I have used for the last 6-7 years. I was fabricated in a workshop on the fly with a fiend who worked there, and a combination of tape measure, doodles, sweat and swearing resulted in the final configuration. It was used for a couple of careers schools days here on the Isle of Man, then used personally for the last 5 years being traipsed across Europe to Turkey in suitcases and back. The limitations of it got me thinking about the limitations of all commercially available sim rigs. Seat and yoke mount combos. Weight. Steel is a pain. …

I live in the US. Does anyone know a shop I can order online for a new MCP 2 - Boeing style? The one I've had for many years is starting to not work. The rotary dial for the speed is way to jumpy and I cannot dial in anything with accuracy anymore. I heard the company in Korea that makes them is no longer supporting it?
