Hardware Controllers: Joysticks/Yokes | Throttle Quads | Rudder Pedals | Drivers etc

I recently had to take apart and then reassemble my flight sim. I cannot get some of the GF modules to stay programed to the same commands for a switch or knob. They work and then the next time I use them in P3dv4.5 all the assignments are gone. Any help to assist the modules to remember their assignments would be appreciated. I use the GF proprietary software--no Pollypot.

Hello Everyone. Before I get into it I just want to clarify that I have been fiddling with this yoke for the last 3 hours and nothing that I have read so far has worked. I'm posting here as a last ditch effort to try to get this to work. I am trying to determine if this is a driver issue or the actual yoke is broken. Yesterday I bought a Saitek Yoke +throttle and pedals off kijiji, nice guy, everything looked in working order etc. Pedals work fine but my yoke or throttle won't turn on when I plug it in. I am looking for a throttle control that will control anything from a cub to a 747. I am not worried about the cost for just one item as long as it is the best that I can buy and will control all the aircraft that I mentioned. Thanking all you great Sim Flyers in advance. Tom Johnson

Hey, I'm currently looking for a joystick to get for MSFS and I wanted to know if there is any difference between the Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas One and the Hotas 4? The Hotas One is currently not available so I was wondering if I could just get the Hotas 4 instead and install the corresponding driver. Are there any differences between those two joysticks at all? Having watched some amazing cinematic videos of the upcoming Microsoft 2020 Flight Sim I am a bit confused as to what add on hardware is used to control the camera. Game and xbox controllers are mentioned. For aircraft control I use the Honeycomb yoke along with Saitek rudder pedals, and the Saitek X52 throttle. I also have a spare Saitek Stick. Could I use this for the cinematic camera movement, or will I have to purchase a game controller? Any advise would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi! Just wanted to share how I replaced the throttle on my T16000M with a nose wheel tiller. I bought a "B100K" potentiometer with a center detent and a chicken head knob on ebay. Soldered the potentiometer in place and drilled a hole for the potentiometer. Now I have fine control over the nose wheel 👍 Oh, and I cut the wires for the LED's - blacked out T16000M 😎

My Saitek / Logitech yoke doesn't keep center between reboots. It's off to the right about 1/4" or so. I have to unplug, delete the registry per their faq, and then plug back in. It's not connected to a USB hub, but rather right to the motherboard. I emailed them, but of course no response.... Any ideas?

i have purchased a PS3 eye camera with old style lens ( good one with removable IR filter) and 5mm 940nm wavelength TSAL6400 model IR LED lights. Do i have to use sandpaper to clean up the plastic layer of the LEDs or not at all ? Thanks

Wow, my new Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick arrived today! I just unboxed it - have not plugged in or used it. I do like the feel of the stick movement. Feels like good damping and tension, there's not anyplay around the center position like my X56 does. I'm looking forward to my first flight later tonight. It came through the Microsoft store by Fedex. Totally shocked! All we need now is the FSL update for P3D 5..... Jeff Callender

I cannot find the customization software on https://support.logi.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360024693754--Downloads-Flight-Yoke-System . After installing the driver, in the tool tray, I have the yoke icon, but on the menu only clear appears, no other software. I tried selecting a different Windows OS, but that only shows the drivers. I see there are Profile zip files, but not the application itself. Usually I keep all my downloads, but I cannot find and I had to reset Windows, so it must of got lost when I reset.

Does anyone have this problem with one of the brake axis? The left side should match the right side.

Morning I seem to have damaged the reflective tapes on my hat reflector for track ir. Any ideas on how to remedy. Was thinking silver nail varnish with reflective glitter in it? Thanks.

I just got myself three logitech panels (previously saitek), and I have heard of spad. I checked it out and it seems these are special drivers from 2012. Doesn't sound like something I probably can use today, but not sure. I would like to customize my panels because the avionics master doesn't control BOTH avionics knob in the cockpit, and there might be some things I could adjust on the radio panel that will suit me better. Some guidance from more experienced simmers would be much appreciated 🙂 Edit: Oh, forgot to mention, I'm using xplane 11 latest beta version.

Hi all, So, after moving, I wanted to get back into the game more and more again. Fs2020 etce tcetc. You get it. However, I seem to have a problem with my throttle quadrant (non usb) for the Saiteck Yoke. When i move the first lever, the second one also starts giving output/input to windows. I however seem to be unable to recalibrate the thing because of drivers lacking, and the drivers on the logiteck site are 32 btis only. Any tips on how to fix this? to calibrate it or something? or is it a hardware issue? I really miss my prop and mixture levers now that I'm using my thrustmaster stick as a throttle control again …

I have purchased the Warthog Hortas throttles and joystick, but have a mental block when it comes to reading script for FSUIPC and Target to map certain items! The flight rudders work well in testing as far as axis. But I have this un-named Logitech control software that has the logitech logo and then ST in my taskbar. I have programmed Numpad-7 for left and Numpad-9 for right and saved it. But when I test the pedals again they are not throwing the keyboard keys. I'm not sure what I'm missing in this clumsy software.

Not sure this is the best sub-forum for this, but I'll give it a shot: I'm lucky enough to have a home theater with a 150" screen and I've been thinking it's time to move my flight sim activities (soon to be renewed with the the FS) onto that screen. My office, where I game now, literally sits off to one side of the screen so it'd be pretty easy to run a long USB cable extension cable into the theater to a setup there, but it has to be portable as I use the theater for work and we use it for obvious TV/movie entertainment. Hey all, Im looking for a cockpit stand mainly as i would like to to be small and to be able to pack it away, i have seen the wheel stand pro deluxe v2 which has my interest but im looking for something that i can attach different flight sticks and even a steering wheel. I currently own the thrustmaster warthog joystick and throttle as well as thrustmaster tfrp rudder peddles. I would like to purchase the Logitech g945 flight yolk but see that the wheel stand pro deluxe has different versions for both a yoke, joystick and a steering wheel. Hi folks I recently was given the logitech switch panel (I already hav the Yoke and Throttle quadrant.) How on earth is it configured? I went to the link given, downloaded the test program and the advised driver file. and all switches, gear lever etc all work when running the test program, its connected via usb slot on the yoke.....But in Sim nothing. I've attempted, settings, buttons/levers, Landing gear for example. and gone to new assignment. then moved the lever from gear down to up or vice versa, but nothing... Tried change assignment and still nothing. Looked on logitech support, but that seems decidedly lacking. I'm hoping many on here use it and can a…

I have a new X-56 and I haven't used it much except plugging in to see if it worked. Finally got around to actually flying with it but it's no longer working. All the buttons and the mini radar cursor thumb stick work but the joystick itself does not. Is there a way to reset this or is it just dead?
