Im using a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick and have been for years with FSX and Windows 10, Last time i flew with it was Tuesday night and it was working perfectly fine. Since then ive touched nothing and only changes to FSX was uninstalling World of AI then on thursday when i sit down to fly, the joystick wont work.... Windows sees the device in Device Manager and in hardware and devices and i can even check and adjust its calibration but FSX doesnt see it, the only options in FSX controls are Mouse Look and Mouse yoke. ive tried changing power settings for the computer and individual usb ports, tried getting the latest drivers from logitech's website for the Extreme3D …

Hi all, I thought it would be good to write my impression of the ACE 737 Desktop Yoke, as I feel it has not been given the necessary attention given its great potential. I waited for some time before I write this review, as I wanted to be sure that I give enough time before I come to any conclusions. Order & delivery I ordered the yoke this August and unlike some reports of huge waiting times, in my case it took around 1.5 months to get it, which is pretty acceptable for a small production team. The package was sent via UPS and arrived in a few days. It was nicely packed to protect the equipment, fully padded and gave the impression that ACE took the t…

  3. Hi All Couple of questions please> 1) Does anyone know if/where one can buy spare parts for this hardware - specifically does anyone know if I can get hold of replacements for the 4 screws that hold the Throttle Quadrant in its mount. 2) Can anyone provide me with photos/measurements etc of these 4 screws. thanks

  4. After being inspired to get FS2020 after some years away from such things, I would very much like to build and interface my own controls into the system. So far, I've looked at a great thread here: and am looking at the potential to interface various controls - flaps, trim, throttle and a few ancillary switches, to an external controller. The idea is to use an Arduino Uno or Mega (both of which I have), some rotary encoders and pots and switches - to extend the control input to the sim. So far, I've looked at Mobiflight, which depends on FSUIPC for it's interface, with very little success in breadboarding a solution (bear with me, I',m new to this!) Has …

Hi Been using MSFS with my CH products yoke and rudder pedals. They usually work fine except in the last week they have stopped responding completely at random They still show in the sim settings but it recognises no movement in the devices. If you unplug them and plug them back in they don’t even show back up. I thought at first the issue was the sim but in the windows game controller settings it doesn’t show the movement either. Same issue if I unplug them they do not show back until I restart the computer. Eventually after 10 restarts or so they come good, I have tried using both CH control manager and windows to fix this with no luck. They don’t s…

Can some kind person advise me about a new joystick for Flight Simulator 2020 I have used my old Cybork X on other FS's but will not work on 2020. I tried the smaller Thurstmaster single stick but that did not configure for FS 2020. Here in the UK Nobody has the latest Thurstmaster sticks that work with FS2020. It does look like the Thurstmaster range will not be available untill the end of September 2020. Any advice appreciated.

I just received my Honeycomb yoke and I'm curious if the pitch axis stop limits are suppose to have a hard thud sound/feel? The roll axis stop limits are very soft as if there is something rubber there when it hits. The pitch sounds just like metal on metal.

hello i downloaded a driver for my saitek x52 flight control system but it seems to have messed it up and i don't know how to get rid of it every time i plug the joystick in my mouse cursor moves to the top of my screen and i can't use the mouse please help.

  11. Has anyone successfully configured MSFS for a BU0836A with pots? The Controls configuration page detects the BU0836A but insists all controls are buttons. Will not allow a pot/slider to control an axis. It gives "Warning: selected button input is not appropriate for this action" for an axis assignment and the axis configuration sub panel is not displayed. cheers Stu

Just wanted to share my experience - Honeycomb yoke required NO adjustments. Everything works, including switches and magnetos/ignition, Also, I have no issue setting 1 degree increments in heading bugs. Best of all, when I ordered TM TFRP pedals, there was a bundle including HOTAS X/throttle combo for like an additional $15 over the cost of the pedals alone, No brainer even though I wasn't much interested in a joystick...Well, the TM stuff dropped in without a hitch and FS 2020 set it all up with no input from me, and no conflicts with the Honeycomb. Even better, since I too have the Honeycomb Bravo TQ pre-ordered, I am using the HOTAS X throttle simultaneous…

The block plugs into the PS/2 port on the yoke. The power light on the throttle quadrant lights up. The OS does not see the quadrant (not even as an unknown device in the Device Manager), nor does it do anything inside X-Plane's calibration panel. I have tried to download the drivers, but on the plug-in step, the Next button does not light up. I have also tried starting it with it unplugged, as well as plugged in, and have done multiple system reboots. OS: Windows 10 64-bit with latest updates from Microsoft X-Plane 11 Yoke and Rudder Pedals got recognized without problems Perhaps the drivers on the site are for the USB model…

I purchased this to use in X-Plane 11 and love it. BUT, when trying to set it up in FS2020 I find that the rudder axis "RX" is not recognized and that when I attempt to set Elevation axis it CTD. FS2020 does recognize the stick but I am beginning to think it is not really compatible with the sim. Any one have any ideas?

Hello. For a while I've been after the Saitek/Logitech Pro Flight Yoke System and Rudder Pedals. They seem to be out of stock everywhere I look including Logitech's own store. Does anyone know if this product has been discontinued? Or is it simply the release of the new MSFS that has meant all popular flight sim hardware has sold out. I tried emailing Logitech and asking them if it would be available again but didn't get a response.

Friday I ordered an Alpha yoke. There was no out of stock notices on the order page when I placed my order. This moring I see an out of stock notice on the description page of the yoke, not on an ordering page. I emailed them to see what the deal is. My CC has been hit for the yoke. No one else has inventory. Anyone have any idea of the situation. I could not bring myself to dropping the coin for a Yoko+. Might have to if I hit the out of stock wall with Honeycomb.Hopefully they will refund my $260 if they are indeed completely out of stock. My thinking was they wanted to ship right from their inventory rather than give up the bit of margin for other vendors. Can't b…

Hello, everyone, I use the FS2020 with the Saitek X52 controller. In principle everything works fine, but the trimming is really strange. There are two buttons for this (up and down) as standard. In FSX I always put the trimming on the X-axis. Since this axis had a zero point, it was always very easy to control. The zero point was then always neutral and then I could trim in the respective directions. When I use the X-Rotation axis on FS2020, I always have to move the axis in one direction till its end until the controller gives the signal. As long as the axis remains on the limit, the trimming will be increased or decreased. When I bring the axis back to zero, …

So the sad day finally arrived.. my Hotas 4 started the dreaded drift/jitter where even cleaning the potentiometers doesn't help anymore. Deadzones can only do so much for it. While I'm waiting for stock to arrive for either a Saitek or Logitech yoke set (everyone's sold out here, so it'll be quite a few months yet - lockdown is still very much a thing here and international shipments are rare, to say the least), I'm looking for a good budget joystick that also has a throttle control.. basically to tide me over for a few months. I'll mostly be using FS2020 for GA flying until the payware airliners come out, so it doesn't have to be top-of-the-range. I've conside…

  19. Please read before making assumptions and ignoring. Hello, I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum area to post my question. If it isn't, my apologies. I have a disability that makes it very difficult to use traditional joysticks. We're all aware of the shortage of flight controllers since MSFS20 was released as well. My powered wheelchair's controller has built-in Bluetooth mouse capabilities that allow me to use it as a mouse. Since sims like FSX had options to use a mouse as a joystick, I was fine. Sadly, FS20 doesn't offer this ability. Does anyone know of any software that forces games to see a mouse as a joystick? The only way to this poi…

  20. At this point i've tried everything with my old ch flight yoke.. i've tried powered hubs, directly in the pc, various usb ports there, thought i had one that worked more stable.. now the issue is back If you sit on the calibration screen even in windows "setup game controllers".. you can see the aileron roll cross hair bounce left and right on its own, or not go to the limits if you move it, but rather stick, then suddenly fly right. Could this be a Potentiometer or pots issue.. i've heard for usb and the yoke they rarely go bad (i had one go bad in the ch pedals before).. trying to troubleshoot this one last time before i end up spending $180 on a new yo…

  21. May I highly recommend the Xbox Elite Series 2. It's easily the best game controller money can buy.. It's heavy, built to last and doesn't feel like a toy You can adjust the thumbstick tension. Finger paddles Buttons can be assigned as shift keys Easily switchable thumbstick and d-pads USB-C Wireless with or without (via bluetooth) the dongle Carrying case Dock for charging I've had mine since launch and it's simply the best PC controller I've ever owned..

  22. Hi all. New to the forum here. (Also 79 years old, so be kind). Not at all familiar with X-Box hardware, etc. Wanting to buy and hook up an X-Box controller to a PC in FS2020 to control the Showcase camera. Can someone either answer a couple of questions, or direct me to the answers? Is anyone using an X-Box controller for the Showcase Camera and if so, would you recommend wired or wireless? If wireless, do you need a dongle to hook it to the PC?Will a less expensive controller like a PowerA ($25) on Amazon work OK?Thanks for any help.

  23. Hi there, There are some news reports that the intended release of the Airbus TCA Quadrant has been delayed a month. Shipments expected end of October now. Can anyone that ordered this confirm this? I had been waiting to purchase the bundle (joystick and throttle quadrant) but it looks like another month of waiting. Anyone know of any good deals on this package? Thanks Mark

  24. I bought one of these hoping to use it for view controls... but the programmable keys are not being registered reliably by MSFS 2020. Anyone else have a programmable key pad? Is it playing nicely with MSFS?
