Hi folks, this is my current setup for right hand, and the Saitek Quardrant is starting to wearout, so the logic (not logitech) choice seems to go for TCA throttle... as CH and Honey's Quadrant are too wide for my place... As you can see, my Saitek one is heaily modified, and that's what I don't want lose when transation to TCA Quadrant, specially the TO/GA button and speedbrake lever. (the CCD/ touchpad will be lose but I rarely use it anyway.) The offical speedbrake lever seems still monthes away, I might simply take apart one axis assembly on Saitek one and stick it to the side before it came.. I wonder about th TO/GA button there, as it would be mo…

Is there anyone who has a VR Insight 737 Overhead Pro Panel? I'd be interested in hearing some real world feedback about this product. Thanks.

I'm curious. I just installed my honeycomb using FSUIPC to handle all the mappings. This relates to P3D5.1 as I haven't tried it with MSFS yet. Inoticed that the yoke reacts more like a real yoke than others I've used, mainly in the elevators. When I used to fly IRL The minute the wheels left the ground my thumb went to the trim switch to set up for climb etc. I must do the same with the honeycomb, immediately after takeoff the a/c feels nose heavy and I really need to trim it up. Wondering if anyone else has noticed this. Up to now, trim has had little effect on the "heaviness" of the yoke in P3D. No problem, just curious - Vic

Just wanted to share this. I own the Honeycomb Alpha. I was interested in the Bravo, but of course it's sold out. So I went on eBay to discover that people were scalping their pre-orders and jacking the price by as much as 3X. So, thinking that I was being helpful, I wrote to Honeycomb and told them what was going on, and that it would be easy to figure out who was scalping their products and ripping off customers (by looking at the order location). Here is their response: "Really Michael? So, let me ask you, how do you know they ordered from us? I can tell you they didn't. They probably ordered from one of our retailers, and we've already told them to seek…

Parking Brake won't stay engaged. It will set OK, but then after a few seconds it disengages. I use FSX Acceleration and CH Controls Manager to calibrate and program the CH Fighterstick, Pro Throttle and Pro Pedals. Best to all, Ken

Hi, I've recently got a Thrustmaster TCA sidestick - I wanted the quadrant too but they're out of stock absolutely everywhere! I've been using it for merely a week or so and have noticed that the Z (twist) axis has a mind of its own. Even if you so much as touch the stick, the Z axis jitters and gives false movements. This is evident when viewing the axis in the Windows game controller properties, so not just in MSFS. I'm somewhat disappointed, but read this is a common problem with Thrustmaster sticks with twist action and is caused by the potentiometer inside usually either being fouled or making contact with one of the other wires that runs up inside the…

Using FSUIPC I can connect CH Yoke, CH TQ, CH rudders and saitek X55 with no issues. If I swap the CH Yoke with a Honeycomb all the assignments go haywire. The GUID assignments are completely wrong. Remove the X55 and everything goes back to normal. Anyone aware of this issue? Thanx, Vic

I bought a logitech flight yoke and throttle quadrant (together called the flight yoke system) about 3 months back. for the past 4 weeks it has not been working. When i connect it to the pc the screen lights up and shows 00:00 and nothing happens. usually the time is displayed there. Non of the buttons are functioning and the pc does not recognize any input from the yoke or throttle either. i went through all the steps that i could find online including trying to reset the controller on the registry editor. nothing seems to be working. contacted logitech support and they said they cant help because im in a different country and their warranty does not deal with that(which…

I'll be getting a Fulcrum Yoke in the next few months (hopefully) or whenever it becomes available, and I am currently in the market for some high-end rudder pedals to go with it. My nearly 20 years old CH pedals are long overdue for a proper upgrade. Despite the supply shortages at the moment, I am pleased to see so many excellent high quality options out there these days. Virtual-Fly, Redbird, MFG, VIRPIL, Slaw... Thrustmaster really stepped up their game with their TPR pedals - I was nearly sold on those as I like the idea of a more realistic heels-on-the-ground setup. Anyway, after watching every youtube video I could find on the subject, I believe the Virtual…

I bought a Logitech joystick 3d pro this summer but its Z axis(rudder) is already defect. Amazon agreed to refund me. Now I want to buy a higher quality joystick, preferably again one with 3 axis(roll, pitch and Yaw) any joystick you would recommend? It may cost more then the previous one(I was not sure I would enjoy it when I bought previous one therefore was max price low)

Ref > I use FSX Acceleration in Win 8-64. And program the CH Controllers with the CH Manager.. My question is about use of the subject controller with Majestic Q400. When I press button 2 it sends me to external view as if I'd pressed the (FSX default) "s" key. I have button 2 "DX" box checked in CH Mgr so that I can use button 2 to disengage the auto pilot using parameters I have set in the J stick "Connector" section of the Q400's .ini file. The problem > when button 2 is pressed the auto pilot disconnects as it should; however the view switches to outside view also. Is there a practical way to inhibit this apparently default vi…

Hello all, I received my Thrustmaster Airbus throttle quadrant and tried to set it up for the FSL Airbus. However, the right throttle lever is always ahead of the other one in the cockpit while the physical hardware levers are aligned. I've tried calibrating it via FSUIPC and FSL's detent calibration in the MCDU but I can't fix it. The driver software doesn't have any option to calibrate and it shows the levers slightly misaligned as well when they are physically perfectly aligned. I'm guessing this means it's broken and I should opt for a replacement, or is there anything else I need to do myself before using it? I thought a malfunction like this wasn't even po…

Sorry, but I need to vent! Having had a Honeycomb Alpha yoke on order from Amazon UK since August 18th,today I got the following email: Pathetic. I assume they get their supply from a 3rd party wholesaler rather than Honeycomb direct, otherwise what they say is essentially a lie as Honeycomb would be mad to discontinue production. I'm now 6 weeks further down any queue to get an Alpha and will probably have to pay more than the £228 I paid Amazon for it. Fuming.🤬 Any advice on where to order one now in the UK? I'm thinking about ease (and cost) of returns if there is a fault. Presumably everyone is still out of stock, so the question w…

Anyone here using the Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog with FS2020? I only accuired this hotas and throttle system recently and it seems many of the buttons and switches wont correctly map with FS2020. I'd appreciate any feedback from other users. Do you use the TARGET software at all, or just the FS2020 mapping method? Thoughts and experience appreciated Cheers

I have installed the new driver from saitek/ logitech for my instruments, all of which work except the pro flight instrument panel LCD screen (the one that has the different lcd instruments). I can see the screen has power but no display. I have tried unplugging/ plugging it in again different powered USB hubs etc. It works whenever i run Spad, the screen functions and i can change dials, but when i run without Spad, nothing. Any help would be appreciated as the other 3 instruments work perfectly. Thanks

Folks I'm a PC guy principally. But, we have an XBox in our house that my adult children use to play minecraft and a bunch of other online games. I don't want to dive into MSFS2020 yet on a PC, I don't want to port over from Win7 Pro to Win10. My PC is humming along nicely for my P3D and XP sims, "if it ain't broke, don't "fix" it". I am totally word not allowed of how to use XBox, never cared to learn or play those games etc. If I understand it correctly, I supposedly can use XBox. Can someone please enlighten me one what I need to do to download or subscribe to play MSFS2020 on the XBox? I know there is a thing called gamepass but I'm also a ludyte on…

Hello, I'm new here and have no experience with flying other than RC models. For start, I plan to buy Logitech / Saitek yoke and rudder pedals. I would try to make the trim wheel myself 🙂 I was wondering if this combination would be good and whether it would work as I imagined? Hi all, I'm going to attempt building my own yoke. I'll be using various pieces of hardware and the enclosure will be made of wood. I know - it would probably be cheaper and certainly faster to buy a real yoke but it wouldn't be as fun would it? I have a love for tools and wood in general and I'm convinced (at least for now) I can build a very good yoke. My inspiration for the yoke comes from the Yoko yoke/Yoko Plus yoke found here: Yoko Yoke Plus: https://www.virtual-fly.com/en/shop/controls/flight-sim-yoke-yoko-the-yoke-plus Yoko Plus internals: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ztmwtk5cui45e2q/Yoko plus internals.jpg?dl=0 I'll be using various tools and buil…

All of a sudden, all of the buttons (mode switch, button 2, and buttons 5-8 ) on the right handle of my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke have stopped working. They don't even work using the generic Windows USB controller program. I've completely disassembled the yoke--both the handle and the main "box" and I don't see anything immediately wrong (like a disconnected or broken wire). Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Well, other than the obvious "time to buy a new one", that is.

What is the best way of utilizing a Saitek X52 joystick with a Pro Flight throttle quadrant? The X52 joystick normally attaches to its throttle by a PS/2 connection, with the throttle connected via USB to the pc; likewise, the Pro Flight quadrant normally attaches to its yoke via PS/2 (although there are throttle quadrants that use USB) and with the yoke connected via USB to the pc.

I have been having issues with getting my Saitek Throttle working properly with MSFS 2020. It has the old PS2 style connector working through the Saitek Yoke (which I don't use but it is there to enable connection to USB). The throttle lever seems to work but with engine idle at the top and full power at the bottom, rather than the way it used to work with XPlane. The quadrant does not appear on the MSFS 2020 Controls screen. Is there any way I can adjust it to work properly ?
