I got a desk that has a metal bar about 7cm in beneath the plate and I'm wondering if the clamps of either the Honeycomb or the Logitech yokes would fit. Does anybody have the dimensions of the clamps?

I'm using a Saitek flight yoke with throttle quadrant and an old set of Thrustmaster rudder pedals in MS FSX. Issue #1: I can see and adjust both controllers in Windows and in the Control section of FSX. The trouble is that as separate controllers, I can not get them to work together in the sim. Is there something I'm missing here? Have tried plugging the pedals into the yoke and into the PC directly, no difference. Any ideas Issue #2: The Saitek Flight yoke seems to work great with some aircraft, mostly low performance ones. With others I'm getting glitches in controls and in some cases the world spins slowly counter-clockwise regardless of control inpu…

The MCP, EFIS, COMs, NAVs, FMC and ATC all work in MSFS when flying the airplanes that use G1000 avionic or similar and the MS B747, MS B787 and MS A320 / FBW airplanes. The program to make this work is Oi4FS from rksoftware.

I have today written to Mitch at GoFlight regarding compatible drivers for MSFS. I'll post any reply here. Looking through their Facebook page this was posted by a fellow user back in October and is GoFlight's reply to his question... Regarding FS 2020, unfortunately, our hands are tied. The SDK in 2020 simply does not provide the level of control or access required at this time. We could map, at best, some of the default variables/functions from an external application, but that it is it. I'd be extremely hesitant to begin it now. So this left me with more question. So I am going to contact Microsoft to see what they say. After what our software…

I'm not sure why this is happening, and I understand it's not an uncommon problem. I have a Saitek/Logitech Pro Flight Yoke (amongst other controllers) and it is now consistently losing calibration on its X/Aileron axis. I have run--multiple times--the registry fix to reset the controller calibrations, and each time the calibration will hold for a short period before reverting back to off-center. I'll start off by opening Windows Game Controllers app. Selecting the Pro Flight Yoke from among the displayed controllers, I then clock "properties" then select the "deadzones" tab. The X axis is shown off-center to the right approximately half-a-division (approx. 20%), w…

Members 0 20 posts Report post Posted 14 hours ago I'm not sure if this question should be here but I could not find another place for it. My question is in regards to AFTERBURNER by MSI. It does not seem to display the correct FPS. When i compare the results of Fraps and the built in frame counters in Windows fs2020 the FPS display of Afterburner is completely way off. For example Fraps and FS2020 show me 40 FPS more or less depending on my settings, but Afterburner shows me over 180 FPS more or less and is consistently in the low hundreds. I …

Hi everyone! has anyone had issues hooking up their Logitech rudder pedals? I hooked mine up and as soon as I try to use them, they act as if I’m holding the left rudder down. Any help would be appreciated!!

I had indicator lights on my Honeycomb Bravo throttle quadrant. A windows update broke my X-Plane sim and I had to do basically reinstall it to get it working properly. Before, my gear lights, flaps lights, AP lights, etc worked. Now they are all dark. I am running the Honeycomb configuration software. Can anyone suggest how I can fix this issue? Thanks! Hi Fellow Simmers, I have both the Yoke and throttle, both setup perfect in MSFS automatically. But age is upon me and my brain cannot seem to fathom out how to set it up in P3Dv5. Can someone point me in the right direction to either a ready made profile for both Throttle and Yoke, or send me off to a video of how to set them up, Please? Appreciate any advice or any help. Kind Regards Brian (BJ from OZ)

I have a Honeycomb Alpha yoke and MFG Crosswind pedals. Like many others, I intend get a Honeycomb Bravo throttle set as soon as I can get my hands on one.I noticed the GT Omega Apex wheel stand is very similar to the Next Level Racing wheel stand, but costs about half as much ($135 vs $300 for the Next Level Racing Flight Stand). While the Next Level Racing Flight Stand is expressly sold as suitable for mounting yokes/HOTAS, I don't find much on Google about using the GT Omega Apex wheel stand for flight sims.Does anyone have experience mounting a yoke or (flightsim) pedals to the GT Omega? Any thoughts/recommendations?

Hello.. having a strange issue with TCA Airbus quadrant & sidestick. Everything appears to be working correctly (i've updated, calibrated & read through manuals) however once I enable VR the thrust reverse selection becomes intermittent but really fails to work most of the time. Very strange im not sure why VR is having an effect on this - it does work consistently outside of VR. The physical throttles are moving the throttles in the sim all the way to idle. Just wondering if anyones seen this before. I was able to search out another thread with other users having the problem but unfortunately no leads. Thanks Tom

Hello, I hope this is the right forum... Question regarding control of Saitek radio panel via SPAD (old version) and FSUIPC (latest, paid version): Can the sensitivity of the knobs be fine tuned? When I rotate them sometimes they skip one or two numbers, as if they are too sensitive. I know that SPAD has an "acceleration" option, but my understanding is that it does the opposite (makes going through the numbers even faster, not slower). Nothing else appears on SPAD for this. So I am hoping that maybe FSUIPC can do that? I would be grateful if you could answer to this specific scenario, 'cause its never helpful when somebdy replies "SPAD is terrible, ju…

Hi, newbie here. I've done a search, but can't find much on IAS in the forum. Hope that this is the right forum. I am really enjoying getting to know MSFS2020 - and also the multipanel. My understanding of IAS is that if you set IAS to a certain speed, the plane will try and maintain that speed. However, it dosn't seem to have an effect on my Logitech multipanel. Everything else in the multipanel works as I would expect it too. The only thing I see is that a marker comes up by the side of the speed on the main instrument on the simulator screen itself, but dosn't seem to do anytinig. If anybody has any tips, I would be grateful 🙂

I'm tempted to get the Realsimgear GFC 500 autopilot as a standalone add-on to my really basic home cockpit setup, and was hoping that I could sit it on top of my Honeycomb Alpha yoke. My question is: Does anyone know if it would sit happily/steadily on top of the yoke housing by itself, or would I need to mount it onto something so that it doesn't move around? I see that realsimgear do sell stands as well, but nothing solely for the GFC 500. I've got no skills/means to make my own stand to mount it on to, so thought I'd check if anyone else has it, and how you use it? Thanks!

Went a little nuts when my Thurstmaster F16000M HOTAS setup went on the fritz. Likely the POTs died. Couldnt figure out why my landings or so rough with weird erratic behavior. The shop could not replace or repair it so refunded the money. So searched for a viable alternative and getting the former wasnt appealing given that it died in a year. The thrustmaster Warthog looks awesome and fantastic reviews, but its incredibly expensive, nor does it have a twisting for the rudder. Must get rudder pedals which I cannot use. Plus another added cost. The Saitek X56 has been known for positive feedback in its layout and est ethics, but poor reliability plagued it thru…

I use the CH Pro Pedals. They have alway been wonky; they don't rest at a consistent neutral position. Even with routine calibration and adjusting the in-game dead zone, I'm always fighting these things. I usually can work with FSUIPC to redefine neutral, but the defined neutral will soon enough no longer match the hardware. Hour to hour, day to day. It's a constant issue I have to deal with. Since the introduction of MSFM 2020, things are much worse with the poor adjustments available within the simulator. Does anyone have a insight or suggestion concerning this problem? Are these just poor rudder pedals and I should pony up and get something else? [provided there'…

My old PS2 illuminated keyboard has seen better days. The illumination is now so low that it is almost useless (I fly in a darkened room and quite a few commands are mapped to keyboard keys). Unfortunately all the USB ports are already taken up on my machine and I would prefer not having to add more ports. Does anyone know if there are any really good (and bright) illuminated PS2 keyboards still available (I sure couldn't find any) or alternatively does anyone specifically know of any USB illuminated keyboards which will work when attached using a USB to PS2 adaptor? Thanks

Hi everyone I managed to get this few days ago. Anybody having problems with the throttle 1 attachment for jets. The reverse and the red button on selector 1 do not seem to work. I have checked on windows and I get No response in windows hardware detector. I have tried swapping the positions...attachment 1 on other positions and another attachment, 2, on position 1. It seems the reverser and the red button are dead. I have contacted both the supplier and Honeycomb. Also can somebody please advise why is attachment 1 reverse spring loaded...on moving to reverse it has to jump a postion to reach full reverse. Looking f…

Looking for recommendations for a controller brand/model for the drone view in MSFS 2020. I understand it's pretty common to use an XBox type controller for it and would like to pick something up, but having never tried to use an Xbox type controller on a PC before I have no idea what to get.
