Which should I go for to run MSFS in 4k? The CPU they will run with is AMD 5800x3D and 32G of RAM. I currently run Radeon 6800xt and find that I am always GPU limited. I usually run PMDG 737 and FBW Airbus. I think I am quite modest with settings as I run LOD 70, and rest is medium, with clouds set to high. No AI traffic, low trees, low waves, etc It grinds to stutterfest even without Vatsim traffic, while with Vatsim it is barely acceptable. Thank you for all advise.

Good day from beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia. I'm ready to pull the trigger on an upgraded GPU. My question is, would it be best to wait a few months for the next best thing (which I don't even know what that is...) or, may as well get a 4090 now? I appreciate your advice as always.

I have a GTX 1080 FTW2 card that works well with MSFS, however there is one issue. If I fail to turn off the factory overclocking in the NVIDIA Control Panel by checking 'Debug mode' MSFS will crash shortly after starting my flight. I plan to upgrade to a 4070 in the near future, but I am concerned that that the OC issue will rear it's ugly head with the new card. Is is safe to go with a 4070 OC, or should I be looking for a reference speed card, which seems to be hard to find. Also, any recommendations in the $500 to $550 range? Thanks..

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had tried the new beta app from Nvidia that manages graphics driver installations? https://www.nvidia.com/de-de/software/nvidia-app/ It's supposed to be way better than the Gforce Experience app in terms of usability and apparently has some Nvidia Inspector features to set up your GPU settings. I recently got stuck with the GE app not allowing me to install an updated driver. The installation button had completely disappeared for some reason.I managed to fix it but the GE app is really a PITA.

Good day, I just assembled a new pc dedicated to MSFS2020, based on AMD Ryzen7 7800X3d on Gigabyte X670 MB, Nvidia Geforce 4060Ti 16GB, 64 GB DDR5-6000 cl30, liquid cooled with Endorfy F280 kit. On Cinebench 24 the benchmarch stressing the multicore at 100% and the temperature reach a max level of 82°C, in MSFS 2020 with PMDG B737NG over Italy (but I think is not relevant), sometimes I see spikes up to 85°C or a little more with a relative low load on the CPU's. So far I really hate the camera controls, but eventually I'll figure it out. I built a pretty good system (for it's time) with a 9700K, 32GB RAM but stuck an old GTX 1070 in the build, and running a 1080p monitor. Good day friends I am currently flying my full size B-738 simulator in my basement with 4 external monitors (2x 32" TV monitors and 2x projectors) connected to a single graphics card. Yes it is a mixt of displays because of economy I took what I had at home. Hello, I have a ViewSonic XG2703-GS, I had to reset it and when I turn it on it says "ViewSonic". The user manual is succinct, it describes access to the OSD and in the OSD there is no option on whether or not to activate the logo. Does anyone have any tips and tricks to solve this? Hi i recently bought a 50" TCL QM8B 120 hz TV , because i wanted to unleash the potential of my 4090. Overall the picture in 4k and low lag is great. The issue iam having is no matter what setting i use either in sim, w11 or the tv itself i cant seem to get rid of the flickering and random white screen flashing. also early testing it seems to be more prevalent on the ground at payware airports especially at night , and a particular problem with the Fenix when directly looking at the EFB or flight deck screens. Recently added RTX4090 and while I appreciate the added VRAM and ability to now run Render Scale at 150% or higher, Frame Generation I've had to turn off, rather sadly. I get flicker/strobing of glass cockpit and especially when looking out the side window of the plane at tarmac I get these substantial strobing effects where it looks like gamma or brightness oscillates whenever the plane is moving including during panning. I have done enough troubleshooting to know it's the 2nd screen I'm using that is setup in Win 11 as an extended display that causes this to happen. Nvidia Inspector 2.4.0.4 On my computer there is no scroll bar available on the right hand side of the application. I have to choose a specific area (ie common area) and then use my keyboard up or down arrow to scroll. I'm using a fairly low monitor resolution because of old age vision issues.
