Other than Nvidea Graphics Driver Do I need other stuff like 1) NVIDEA GeFroce Experience 2_ Nivdea HD Audio Driver? 3) Nivdia PhysX System software? Could I uninstall these 3? My primary purpose is for Flight simming. Today I noticed a service "NvStreamUserAgent.exe" running. I felt this was checwing up the CPU and And once I killed it, the CPU usage went down..but after a while thios demon process came back again. I went and stopped this service using the Services manager. Not sure what the heck this process doesn..but it looks like this is a Nvidea services.

I just received my new computer from Jetline systems and I'm having a problem with the sound in the cockpit fading out when I move a switch. After a few seconds the sound will slowly come back. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks Doug Morlan

I'm running P3Dv4 on a BenQ 32" 4K monitor with a second 27" 1080 for "other stuff" such as FSTramp Teamspeak and a timer. I can move most any window to the second monitor from windows or most any application normally. However, when I run the Manfred Jahn C47 and put the control windows up into the cockpit, they will not move, once undocked, to the second monitor. They simply stop at the right border of the cockpit. The mouse arrow DOES move over to the other monitor. When I switch to the docking toggle, the window sticks to the top right of the cockpit, unmovable. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a fix? Thanks!

At this moment I have a GTX 970 used bij P3D v4. I ask myself what the result will be when I replace this card into a GTX 1080. And what in comparance the results twill be in performance and fps using an airliner like 747/777. Is it interesting to do this investment or is the difference between the two GPU's too little?

I have a full cockpit setup with 9 monitors (main computer controls 6....SEE IMAGE ATTACHED) 3 networked computers. I have a new problem: When opening qa program, say FSX, it always opens in monitor # 3 (SEE ATTACHED IMAGE). That monitor is only 2 1/2 by 5 inches in size (used for 737 HGS system). When trying to changed which monitor is used to open a program, the MATROX desktop manager won't allow me to change the option because it is LOCKED! I'm thinking if getting a new pc to run p3d v4, I've comever to the conclusion that Chillblast pc's and wired2fire pc's are the ones to go for. I saw one from wired2fire with these specs; Intel i5 7600 Processor(4.1ghz) nVidia GTX 1050 2GB Graphics 8GB 2400MHz Memory Asus Prime B250M-K Motherboard 1TB Seagate HDD Are these specs good enough to run p3d v4 with some addons such as the NGX and orbx? Hello, I am wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a 30hz native monitor - anything between 27"-32", reason being, I used to have a monitor that ran native on 30hz and was perfect for P3D, unfortunately my son pulled it off my desk and smashed it so had to throw away. I cannot afford £400 for the same monitor now. Budget - £200 maximum if possible, have looked everywhere and cant find one that is native to 30hz. 1080p will do just fine. Thanks in advance Adam

I'm about to upgrade my GPU from my current one to a 1080 ti. Currently, with settings somewhere between medium and high (8xMSAA) I'm getting a reasonable result. However, overcast skies in a densely populated area with traffic brings my GPU near its limit or even beyond - I've observed 98% usage. Dynamic lighting is an FPS hog too and I haven't even installed the NGX with its dynamic landing lights yet. I'd like some experience from others who own the card or have made the upgrade. I'm considering an EVGA card as my current one is one as well. Thank you!

I've got an issue with my MSI GTX 1060 that has just started to show up in the last couple of days - as shown in the screenshots linked to below there are black assets appearing in games and also 'light flashes' appearing in P3D. None of these games have had settings changed in the last few days and worked fine before P3D was literally a brand new installation without changing any settings. Still shopping for a new rig and noticed two types of GPU classifications. Dedicated/discrete and integrated. I'm thinking the dedicated/ discrete would be best to run FSX. Am I right?

I am buying a new Alienware system to improve my FSXSE but also to enable me to obtain and enjoy good performance with XPlane 11 and FSW. The processor will be an i7-7700 and the video card a GeForce GTX1070 with 8GB. I am uncertain though about the monitor. There seems to be a bewildering variety. I currently have a Dell XPS27 all in one and enjoy the big screen. Dell list a P2415Q Ultra HD 4K with my proposed system. There is also a P2715Q but they didn't offer it with my system for some reason. Viewsonic also have a 27" 4K unit but reviews seem to favour the Dell. Any opinions from forum members?

I have been running with my Dell 30" ultrasharp at a native resolution of 2560x1600 for the past five years. Both with a GTX 770 and then more recentl;y a GTX1070. I have, only today, installed a GTX 1080ti in preparation of a rebuild around a 4K monitor. Up until now I have used a DVI cable but with the advent of the 1080ti it offers 4 ports, two of which are HDMI. After replacing the original DVI cable with a new HDMI cable, I now find I can't run the monitor at it's native resolution of 2560x1600!!!! Hi chaps, Im a newby to this forum, & was just wondering if anyone can help me before I pull out my hair and lose it;0) I've got FSX (non steam) running on triple monitors with a half decent pc. When I load up fsx I get the flashing mouse cursor issue. I have read on the forums that there is a fix for this (by editing the 2d panels in the cfg file) I was just wondering if anyone could advise me on what to do to edit them. Hi all, I finally got my new computer and most things are working properly. I mainly bought it to play FSX smooth and with nice graphics. However, by "most things are working", I mean that my graphics card, the GTX 1060, broke and it will probably need a few weeks until I get the RMA. I am interimistically using an ATI Radeon HD 3870 with 512 MB of VRAM. My other specs, are as follows: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 6x3.4GHz 16 GB RAM @ 2133Ghz Will the graphics card limit the game a lot or is it enough for smooth gameplay on good settings, as FSX is very CPU intensive. Hi. There's this interesting thing happening to me. I have a dual monitor settting (TV on HDMI + Monitor through DVI-D) on a 1050GTX Ti. 1) Default image of FS9 when displaying on TV: (strikes me as really dark) https://ibb.co/ekOGhF Now if I just drag the FS9 window to my monitor and then drag it back to my TV, the image displays way better (more brightness) https://ibb.co/jEwDUv However, if I maximize, it'll reset to the previous dark setting. I just got an Acer 27" Widescreen LCD Monitor Display Full HD 1920 x 1080 1 ms|144hz XB271H bmiprz monitor and have an EVGA 1080 FTW GPU. The monitor manual say I can increase my resolution from 1920x1080 to 2560 x 1440@144 Hz (DP only) but does not say how. How do you do that. The monitor and GPU are both G-sync. Thanks Randy Smith
