Is there anyone use the NVidia inspector with a gtx 1080 card.

Quick question, I,m using 2 monitors 1 for P3dv4 and one for addons proatcx and active sky . The pdv4 monitor is a 4k Samsung 40 ‘’ tv at 30 hz. The second is a Samsung 32’’ tv running at 60hz ( can only go at 60hz) will this affect my performance with P3dv4 because of the different rates? As per the title, if I set my 144 hz to that speed will it run at that or drop to the 60hz of the other 3 monitors? Cheers.

Please don't kill me if these question is been answer. I installed a new card on my computer. I have the latest driver. my question is how can I tell if I m using dx10, and can dx10 make fsx run slow. and if that is case how can I removed. the second question is. how can I use NVidia inspector, I can no find the actual settings required. I like to see it clear, I seeing a video but is not sure is these settings are for fsx. I m using fsx and window 7 64 thanks.

Happy Holidays! So unexpectedly my trusty ol' GeForce 780 finally bit the dust (actually not that impressed as it only lasted 3 1/2 years). So I had to make a quick Xmas present for myself and picked up an EVGA GeForce 1080 SC. Can't wait to see how she performs in P3Dv4. I am running three 27" 1080 displays. One will use the HDMI, 2nd will use the DVI. For the 3rd I have to use one of the display ports. Can I get by with a "passive" DP-2-DVI adapter or must it be "active"? I am looking to build a PC just for FSX. I would like to run FSX on maxed out settings with AI, and lots of scenery addons, aircraft addons and weather addons, at a high FPS count and good graphics. My setup: i5 2500K at 4.6GHZ 16GB Ram 970 GTX 4K TV that can run at 60hz and 30hz at all resolutions. Prepar3d V4 I'm just wondering if it's worth it for me to go to a ROG Strix 1080ti, if it would help me a lot. I do have a PSVR as well that I wouldn't mind messing around with as well (I know it probably won't be good). This is the first time I have ever received an important driver update on my windows 7 PC. The update text is "Nvidia display-10/23/2017 12:00.00AM-23.21.13.8813." I have never seen this before! I did a google search and it looks like its for Windows 10, but I am not sure. I was able to hide the update but not sure if it will come back again. I don't want to be forced to update a display driver! Can anyone explain this further and advise? Thanks for your help! Airbus

Looking at upgrading from a 750ti to a Gigabyte Turbo GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5 OC. Would this card be good enough to run P3D V4.1 at decent frames? I know there`s a 1080ti but I`m not sure if I can really stretch to it. Also, would a Corsair CX 550W PSU be sufficient for a 1080? Thanks.

I buy a new GPU every 4 years or so, so I don't know much about priced and performance increase from one series to another. I currently have GTX970 and I'm thinking of buying a new one - GTX1080Ti... but I stumbled upon some articles claiming Volta will probably come out in the beginning of 2018. Looking at 1080Ti cards with an eye on possibly VR in the future. For video ports card manufacturers either have: 2x HDMI + 2X DP or 1X HDMI + 3X DP Q1) Why the difference, I thought 2X HDMI was needed for VR? Q2) Does this effect max total resolution for multi-monitor setups?

Just popped for Samsung 40" 4K TV for monitor.Running 3400(?) resolution.Set res in FSX for same and picture is great.My desktop icons and FS menu bar is very very small.If I change res pictures is distorted.How do I enlarge icons so my wife will not notice new TV?Old one was an old 32" Visio so not much different in size.Do not think she will notice if icons are same as before.HaHa.Thanks,Ron
