After an interuppted internet connection when ASX switches to offline mode does it automatically switch back to online mode when the connection is back or do you have to shut it down and restart it? I try a refresh WX but not to sure if that works or not by looking at the log file on the main page.

Is there a possibility to hear ATIS with imperial pressure readings? I usually fly with the Aircrafts with 29.92 standard instead of 1013, which forces me to convert it in external calculator.

Hi everybody,having used ASA 431 for quite a while now I haven't got any problems so far. Well, up to now...I just imported a longer flight - KSFO to NZAA - as usual, after the intro screen told me "weather synthesis complete". So far so good, everything looked as usual.When I tried to import the above flight I got the message "unable to perform briefing due to incomplete weather synthesis". Well, at least ASA offered me to install an overcast weather theme which I happily accepted. Briefing screens remained empty, however.I'm doing the flight right now to see what happens. I have been using AS6.5 for some time now, with FS9 and ever so recently, with FSX, after taking the plunge...Tweaking, tweaking, tweaking is time consuming... and there was an issue with FSX and AS6.5 when AS starting performing the wx station writes... HiIm running AS on another computer through widefs, however when i start it up it finds what airport i am at but it just says Connecting to HIFI DataNet and never downloads any weather. If i run AS on my FS9 pc then it works fine, i've been trying to sort this for hours now.Any helpThanksDavid

When ASX is running, in the "main" window it displays an "Error 14" almost constantly in the system report window. Everything appears to be working fine, but I'd like to know what this message means.What is this "error 14"?

I cant record in xpax. I always get the "no event selected" message. open the tree go down to cruise highlight it then hit record and always I get the "no event selected" Is there a way to select the event that I am not aware of? I am simply clicking on it and its not working?????Guthrie

I have been running ASA and FSX since ASA came out. I had nothing but problem with correct weather injection in FSX matching what the ASA map is reporting, which was usually correct with Real Time Metars.I tried everything... and the last thing I tried, was running ASA on my laptop as a remote computer to the FSX Server/my FS rig. This solved everything. ASA works 1000% better now and I am getting correct weather injection. Hi team,Since a couple of weeks I am getting cracks in the engine sounds from the MD-11 when using ASA.Every crack show a jitter onscreen too. are 20-25 and no dropping to lower values. This is with build 412 and above.Without ASA no sound issues.What I tried :- ASA only on the second core- ASA not running with high priority- FSX at higher priority than normalUnfortunately no luck.Help is appriciated.

Have to reinstall my FSX base. This includes ASA which is the upgrade version for ASX. Hence, I had to install ASX first and wonder now whether I can safely deinstall ASX after I installed ASA to free some space... both programs are installed in seperate folders.Phil

I can't seem to get a dark cloud cover. Even if I load the hurricane metar file (see pic) the most I get is a light grey overcast sky with no cloud detail. The Xgauge was showing red over my location but this is all that was depicted. I can get dark clouds if I use FSX default weather but not with ASA. Any help?

Does ASA or Xgraphics address the issue of low vis horizon line showing through 5 mile and less vis haze and the rather thick, and very noticeable band at the horizon produced by an overcast not going all the way to the horizon. This is one of the most annoying things about FSX besides the donut hole that forms around planes flying into or out of an overcast layer.I am now using ASA with FEX and I very much enjoy the programs. The b431 as solved just about all problems I was having with ASA. No more cloud popping and more stable pressure keeps altimeter from jumping around.Thanks

Hi,Almost every time when starting ASX I get lots of error messages indicating there is a problem downloading Met/Rep data and then eventually it succeeds after x number of attepmpts, is this a known problem or is it just me having some connection trouble?

With all due respect I wanted to see what the weather looked like in ASX the tragic night when the Air France a/c disappeared but after downloading historical data for that specific time what I got is seen in the screenshot attached which puzzles me - according to ASX the weather in that area for that specific time seems just fine with not even any clouds in the area?

when I am boarding the passengers it tells me that the TOCG and ZFWCG are out of range. I have made a custom cabin that matches the pmdg md-11 cabin I have read that I am supposed to adjust the weight numbers. I am not sure how to do this.Does this mean I adjust the weights within the md-11 or is there a way to manipulate the weights in xpax? After many months using ASA when it loads now I get a notice that it needs activation. When I load my valid activation code ASA acknowledges it is valid code. Refreshes and then says that the activation code is not valid and request a valid code. It stays in this loop. What is going on and how do I fix this problem.Bob JohnsonDallas

Hi,Long time user, first time poster.Question is:When entering in a raw METAR into the Wx Config screen how does the program deal with wind gusts?For example YMML 112030Z 32026G50KTS BKN014 OVC032 10/10 Q1014When the METAR is parsed and the weather applied, there is no mention anywhere about the gust component in the METAR. When configuring the weather via the config interface there is no place to enter gusts either. Does AsA model the gusts at all? If not, what is the best way to model blustery conditions to make those crosswind landings that little bit harder?RegardsGreg
