Often when I go to add third party software like airport sceneries or use apps like UTL or ASN FSX-SE pitches errors necessitating integrity check. Everything has to be connected to almighty Steam. I want to do what I want to do but Steam is always there. I want everything on MY PC without an outside party connected. As soon as I get my additional ram I'm going to Prepar3d v4 Steam system is like communism and Steam is Big Brother. It isn't software freedom.

Hello, I need help converting FS2004 AI models to FSX format, but I don't know how to get the engines spinning. I just import it then export it as MDLX, but I need some additional help getting the engines to spin. I am not a ModelConverterX expert, so explain in the simplest form. THANKS!

Hi! After merging iFly 744 with posky model,I have problem with lights. NAV, BEACON, STROBE don’t work. They only work at night and while on ground. Once I get airborne they go off and I don’t know how to get them work again. any clues? Thanks!

I consider myself quite experienced in FSX, only 7 years, but I've built a cockpit and studied pilot handbooks, read charts, METARS, and learned how to dead reckon, navigate 30's style with NDBs, etc ... I've had relal life flying lessons too ... but I was getting a bit bored flying my Alabeo Aztec and A2A Cherokee by the numbers into some tough strips. Flying these things had gotten way too easy. I’m having trouble going alongside a water dock and backing up. I think there is Slew mode but I press ‘Y’ and nothing happens. Should I see a change on the screen? Also even if I can get it turned on, I don’t have a number pad on my keyboard so how can I move around? Any detailed advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

OOMs seem to be plaguing some people and I just found out how to continuously monitor your VAS through the title bar of FSX using FSUIPC. I have the registered version of FSUIPC so I am unsure if purchasing that product is necessary to implement this trick. How to implement: 1. FSX Menu bar | Add-ons | FSUIPC ... 2. Select the Logging tab 3. Enter an Offset of 024C (that's a zero) 4. Enter a Type of S32 from the drop down box 5. DO NOT check the Hex checkbox 6. Hello, I have FSX Acceleration Box version on my windows 10 desktop. I like to think that I have a decent gaming setup, but for some reason are only getting about 13 to 20 fps. My specs are: Windows 10 Gigabyte Aorus Z490 Intel Core i9-10900K @ 3.7GHz 128GB RAM NVidia RTX 3080 2TB SSD (that the sim is installed on) 2TB HDD. My monitor is a 32 inch Samsung TV. The addons I am running are GEX North America at max settings, UTX USA at max settings, Aerosoft Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321, and PMDG 737 NGX.

Can someone please help. I’m trying to overcome a problem with my Alabeo Aztec in FSX –SE. In normal view I can pan to look down between the seats but the left hand (port) fuel selector and cowl flap are hidden from view preventing me from checking them. I would also like to be able to check Flaps/Gear without having to use the KB. I would like to be able to use a rocker switch on my yoke to toggle an immediate view of each of these areas and zoomed in fairly close. (For the first - FSX Views/New View/Cockpit/Fuel Selector – zoomed 1.5 would be perfect!) Suggestions of where to start would be good – I have tried searching but keep losin…

Hello! My apologies for not introducing myself in the new member forum, but I'm afraid I'm at my wit's end (not that it takes me long to get there). Very recently I've been experiencing a periodic frame rate drop; doesn't seem to matter whether I'm flying or on the ground, or what airfield I'm at, or what the weather is like (I use Active Sky Next and love it). The flight will run just fine for about a minute, then at 2-second intervals the frame rate will drop below 20 fps and will drop to almost the same rate each time. Flying the Shupe (et al) Hughes 500 super ventura Ok, I'm a bit of a novice and my maths isn't the best. I'm having problems getting flight range right for this aircraft. This plane has a range of 2200nm (cruise altitude not specified) at, presumably cruise power. I've just flown a flight of 500nm with 2145kg of fuel. According to my calcs that should have given a range of circa 800nm. Now I know this is dependent on power settings and altitude but I only got <500nm with a 340@23 wind at 15000ft while flying predominantly due east. But for that, I need FSX flight data for these maneuvers. Therefore, I am here asking for your help. Okay, so UT Live is costly. So is Traffic Global WOAI pitches exception error when I run the installer and it's old. What I want to explore is downloading real world repaints for the FSX AI. Adding them onto the AI aircrafts cfg, and disabling the World Travel and Orbit etc. liveries. Can anyone give me briefing on that or point me to a thread about that? Thanks Gary

Yes, is 2021 and I´m trying to use FSX SE, I have the PMDG MD-11 and I wanted to fly it again. Now, my sim is constantly crashing, I start a flight, start up the MD-11 and then, out of the blue, CTD (Crash to desktopp). I have tried everything and nothing is working. I tried to install FSXSave. It wanted by default to install to the programs folder where FSX would be into the modules folder, but I have FSX in the root of C. So I changed the install path to C FSX\modules\FSXSave. I started the Sim and the module under Addons wasn't there. I uninstalled and then reinstalled to C FSX\modules\ directly. Same result. I don't know if FSUIPC is installed either. I don't use a registered copy, but shouldn't I see its module under Addons? What's funny is that I have a few FSDreamTeam and FlightBeam airports installed and its DRM (or whatever you call it) module is installed under the Addons option at the top menu. I like this add-on aircraft and prefer this Aztec F to the default model D in FSX. I am though disappointed that the ADF receiver does not offer any way of tuning a frequency which includes a number following the decimal point eg 402.5. However have I found a workaround. Through NpCV2.2 and FSUIPC4 I can set the frequency for the ADF using the keyboard and it has to have an entry for all five possible digits (the first will only be a 0 or 1). 04025 produced a magic response! The last entry show as 2 going on 3 on the panel (I’m sure not intended that way by Alabeo!) and the ADF needle whizzed round to point to the beacon. It really works in flight too. Great! Ho…

I wanted also to go legal, and bought FSX-SE, and A320 from Aerosoft. I think it should all work better now, but i got a lot of glitches instead, different shapes flashes sometimes, like black triangles etc. ;(( I have newest nvidia driver, maybe that's the problem, maybe I should install some older one ?? But then, what's the point for nvidia to install for me automatically newest drivers with nvidia experience, please help I can post some data…

Okay, so I have been flying in FSX-SE since mid June 2020 after a 15 year hiatus from flightsimming. As FS9 was my last platform I condered FSX-SE the easiest way to get involved again. I am ready for more realistic AI. Have some World of AI files already but I want more up to date ones. Also, I am considering moving to Prepar3d and I like to make sure most of my addons can be migrated to Prepar3d. Any suggestions?
