MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum

Since MSFS was released and I bought it on Steam, I almost fly only this sim. But some times I had to run FSX SE again. Unlike before, it takes long long minutes to start, and this is not loading time. The FSX process starts, I see it in the task manager with activity from 0 to 0.4% CPU and 0% disk. I have to wait long minutes before the splash screen appears, then it is the usual loading time, which is OK. I can't tell if this is related to the installation of MSFS, but I am sure it didn't happen before MSFS was installed. Does any of you had the same problem? Do you have any idea to solve it? Hello All, I re-installed FSUIPC ( Registered), and not even sure it's the problem. Terminals/buildings are not showing up now after reinstalling FSUIPC4. FSX worked perfectly before this. I placed all the scenery sliders to the max, and still no buildings and terminals. The jet-ways appear. Here is my system: Intel core i5-4670K CPU @ 3.40 ghz RAM-16.0 Ghz 64 bit OS Win7 FSX with Acceleration Any ideas will be most appreciated! Dennis

I need to reset editvoicepack changes to default. editvoicepack did not revert changes. Reinstalling FSX does not work. It would be appreciated if you can reply.

I am using a utillity called Little Navmap where it is a flight planner for flight simulators. To calculate fuel, you need Aircraft Performance data. The Little Navmap website don't have all aircraft performance files and would rather have to make the Aircraft Performance manually. I can fly the plane for the data but sometimes it is inconvienient. I am trying to find Aircraft Performance data related to fuel like Fuel Flow, Reserve Fuel, Usable Fuel, etc. Some sources don't have all the performance data and the websites or sources i visit don't have the fuel related data. Hi, Everytime I Open FSX and click FLY NOW! it loads while desktop is open, i can open other applications while loading open, and when loading is done, it shows a tab, i couldnt even right click for mouse yoke and the air traffic tab is rekt, please help

I installed the Scenery Consid Editor and when I opened it up I found every scenery had a red triangle next to it. What is the best way to fix this? Thank you in advance.

I installed FSX:SE recently to fly with the PMDG MD-11X again with MFG Crosswind V2 pedals. I've some weird behavior with my toe brakes on my rudder pedals. Both left and right brakes are constant applied in FSX. When applying pressure on my pedals in FSX left and right toe brakes behave differently while settings are the same. When for example I apply to the left a certain pressure it FSX tells me it's having differential braking. But when the same amount of pressure is applied to the right, no differential braking. I decided to create a flight from Air Greenland's hub in Kangerlussuaq with their only heavy - the A330. I created a plan using https://flightplandatabase.com/ in FS9 format. This is so that it can be placed n the company routes folder and I can then load it into the MCDU. I used the BBS Pre Flight Manager to load up pax and fuel quantity. Because the route was not understood by FSX, I just took off on my merry way then activated flight following . Hi, Any real world pilots out there who can comment on the fidelity of the flight characteristics of Just Flight's Piper Warrior II (and Arrow III for that matter)? I am thinking of treating myself to this aircraft but being a non pilot I have no reference points other than these two feel quite unique to themselves and certainly vastly different to their C152 or Tomahawk counterparts even allowing for the differences in engine and power, etc. Let alone a C172 with the same power plant! In the end since for me flight simming will be as close as I ever get to flying and it is just a fun hobby at any rate, any obvious differences are not strictly show stoppers, but…

Hi. I bought a new pc for installing msfs2020 and fsx too. I am flying so far fsx and I want to follow using It for pmdg 747-8. The problem is that the frames per second don't raise of 10 . I don't understand why happens that. I reinstall and the same thing. Even I have too fsx steam and it happens the same. I can't seem to stray straight on my takeoff roll today in the e-jets 195. Admittedly there is a pretty bad crosswind but I don't think that is it. - I am at Lubbock on runway 17, the wind is 270@25 knots. So it is blowing hard from right to left (from the perspective of the pilot sitting in the aircraft). I have my aircraft setup for takeoff ready to rock. I begin my takeoff roll and at about 40 knots I start to lose steering control (as expected according to the AOM) The aircraft immediately drifts to the right and rolls off the runway. I have FSX and ActiveSky16. I never had any of the previous versions of Ezdok and I finally decided to jump on board so I got the latest which is Version 3. Took me awhile just to understand the camera functionalities.. It definitely deeply imbeds itself into FSX.. I have had a couple of annoying CTD due to it. The main thing I wanted to ask (if someone has V3 yet)... Have you had problems with its new turbulence effects simulation? Its supposed to work in conjunction with Active Sky to have a more accurate feel of turbulence effects of aircraft.. Hello everyone So i decided to go for a different AI traffic but the others didnt work. I used WOAI before and made a backup file before removing the packages. When i try to install it it gives me an error message. Is there any way to install this backup or do i need to Install every thing again? Any help would be appreciated Thanks

I was looking a while to find a a350 a/c model for fsx (payware/freeware), I didn't find any of payware regarding FSX (excluding that Xplane 11 addon). Every freeware that „looks like” a350 is either broken, or the virtual cockpit isn't a true a350 one, even the 2d cockpit (only using default a321 panels). Can you recommend me one that is like a real a350? Thank you very much ❤️

I currently have FSX SE. I have that and some add-ons which is currently three fourth full on the C Drive. The D Drive has about one fifth full. The E Drive is recovery. Then it's the DVD, and lastly the H Drive. I plan on eventually adding PREPARED and it's add-ons also. I have a ton off add-ons. My question is what is the best place to put both sims?

Hi, I recently installed and then uninstalled Navigraph simlink as I only have the airac subscription, so didn't need simlink. However, now every time I start FSX, the root FSX folder opens in windows explorer. I read online that a faulty XML file can cause this. If that is the problem, how do I dig this XML out? Or is it something else altogether? Cheers, Matt

I'm having trouble installing add-ons in the FSX SE Sim. When I installed Steam and the flight simulator, I let it decide where the files would go. When I try to install a plane or utility like Chase Plane it doesn't show. Is there a way to test it's path? I want the sim on the C: Drive, and the add-ons on the D: Drive.

I purchased Chase Plane when it first came out, but now I need to re-install and can't find the company that I purchased it from. I do know ORBX sells it, where else can it be bought? Thanks in advance!

When I installed FSX SE it was placed on the D: Drive. It looks like this ; D/FSX SE. When I install a plane I choose; D/ The Name Of The Plane. My administrator slider is all the way down. I always change the property to ' Administrator. ' The plane doesn't show up in the hanger.
