HI Everyone my first post ! Frustrating or what , I have installed UK2000 VFR airfields onto FSX Gold ed. All says installed ok , BUT even though all files are present and correct as far as I can tell and they are showing on the MFS Scenery drop down menu the Airfields are not showing in the game . The add on box on airfield choice is blank ( which according to UK 2000 support is correct which seems a bit odd ? ) . Has any one got advice on what is going on please and how to correct the situation ? Running on windows 10 . T I A , David

I'm currently waiting for my UK2000 forum registration to be approved, but in the meantime I thought I'd ask AVSIM's knowledge base for any ideas. Thanks. I haven't flown to Doncaster in the sim for quite some time. Upon loading up the sim and sitting at UK2000's Doncaster, I didn't see any buildings! The photoreal ground polygon is there, but no structures. Global texture is set to very high. DX10 Fixer sets texture max load to 1024 which I believe is the resolution of Doncaster's textures. Scenery complexity is very high, autogen (shouldn't affect the airport..) is normal. My other UK2000 products all appear to work just fine. EDIT - it's the late…

Hello everyone i did post my question a few days ago so i had to post it here again.If you remember my last post on the ops center i updated it and got it working. But A few days ago my ops center v2 had an update again. So when i updated it again my ops center was completely blank.i posted this on the pmdg forums and still havent got an answer. How can I install the aerosoft f16 in FSX Steam edition? when trying to install it tells me that "we can't found FSX Folder"

I have the old cd version of FSX Gold which was installed initially on Windows 7 and survived the upgrade to Windows 10. I have had to do clean install of Windows and now need to get FSX installed and working. It looks as though there can be problems getting it to run on Windows 10. To start with should I just let the installer have its head and sort out any problems later if there are any, or is there a recommended process I can follow that avoids the issues in the first place. Thanks for any advice.

Hello I have the PMDG 777 and from a few days whenever i want to download liveries it shows a error that there was an error while downloading the list of liveries. Does anyone of you know a solution to it? any help would be appreciated thank you

THIS IS NOT A SUPPORT REQUEST. There are some software vendors who have bugs in the installation setup. I refer to instance where a particular issue has been on a forum since 2008 with numerous posts right up to present time offfering the same solutions, with replies saying the offered solution didn't work. There are at least 2 major vendors doing this. I just invested a considerable sum to replace some lost software, only to find that the same issues from way back have not been resolved. Hi, After recent issues I had with FSX I decided to install a new HD and duel boot to windows 10. (my original was on my windows 8.1) I installed my boxed FSX Deluxe edition, activated it with the supplied key. (in the orange strip in the DVD case) it activated OK. i started up FSX and then closed it. i then in stalled the boxed FSX acceleration expansion pack. when it completed it did not give me the option to activate it. so i restarted and it said that it is not activated. i closed the info window and it then started. Greetings! Does anyone know for sure if the yaw damper for FSX's default Boeing 747-400 does not work? There isn't a switch for it in any of the panel views, I can't click on it in the virtual cockpit, and I don't see any change when I use the default Ctrl+D keystroke. I am just double checking because I am learning how to fly it and am following a third party sim 747 checklist. The in-sim kneeboard doesn't mention yaw dampers and neither does the in-sim flying notes. I am aware the default aircraft are quite limited, but I like to start small when I learn how to fly a passenger jet. Thank you!

in an aircraft which doesn't include this function?? Some FSX aircraft can save panel states to a greater or lesser degree. This is helpful when, like me, you don't leave your PC running overnight on a trans-oceanic 8 hour flight.. The Sky Sim MD-11 resents the emergency lighting switch and all the aircon packs, along with the cabin altitude (takes ages to get rid of the red warning on the MFD when you're cruising at 39000 feet let me tell you!) None of these things kill the aircraft in the sim. The BBS Airbuses are even worse in this regard. Not sure about the QualityWings 146/RJ yet... Hello all, I reinstalled my Wilco Embraer e jets package, and theres an issue. With no take off data inputed into the FMC, and nothing else there, the jet doesn't take off till after around 170 knots, and doesn't accelerate fast enough. After having the fact pointed out to me that I didn't land on RWY23L at Liege as it has been 22L for about 3 years... I came across another error when I was posting screenshots of the amended runway markings: When I landed the Sky Sim MD-11 at Liege the default ATC was telling me the old numbers - 23L/5R etc. and yet the MD-11 FMC was showing 22/4 for the runway info when I checked for the ILS freqs. Thus my use of Herve Sors navdata updates for FSX was in fact working. However, when trying to input a flight plan into the BBS MCDU to depart EBLG in an A330 freighter, the MCDU would only give me 23/5. Would I be correct in thinking that I can only update th…

As can be seen, Shannon airport doesn't exactly line up with MegaScenery Earth's Ireland photoreal. Do i need the payware version of Airport Design Editor to move it somehow? Not sure if it's worth me buying a payware Shannon airport, but if i were to buy the airport, would that version be better aligned I wonder? Thanks.

Hi, I reinstalled flight Sim but now the activation screen doesn't show up when I launch the game and therefore I can't do anything. If there's a simple solution without messing with the registry for 3 hours I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, Ed Kammerman

Hi guys, I'm considering buying an external SSD and installing FSX on it. My question is would it be a workable installation considering the external I have like weather, joystick and throttle the add-on manager for fsdt airports and flight beans airports Etc. I've always admired flight sim videos where checklists were performed using audio capture and thought for a long time about purchasing some of the commercial offerings. However being a commercial software developer and a tight git I decided to (whilst teaching myself C#) roll my own. I won the superb A2A C172 and a slightly modified version of it's paper checklists as my test case. Hello to all! Since the last 3 days that I´ve been having FSX Crash with AiSeparation. Worked without any problem since last install (+/- 5 years), but for the last few days, it crashes at diferent flight phases. I´ve the Win 10, FSX with Accelaration Pack with no problems (besides the ones that come with FSX 😄) since last instalation (when the Win 10 came out). As this addon has a high price I would like to warn the rest of you fellow simmers. As their F-4B the fleet installer replaces your DLL file wiping out previous dll's. In my case fleet dll or their carrier placer in F-4B leads to FSX crash upon exit. So I would avoid it.

I'm back flight siming again and I'm on my favourite aircraft the BN-2 Islander from Flight1. I'd like to fly it on instruments, without using the GPS. After a bit of poking around I have got the NAV radios to work with NDBs and the Radio Magnetic Indicators but I would like to get the HSI to work. I assumed the HSI would be slaved to the NAV1 radio but this is limited to frequency range in KHz and the VOR beacons all seem to be in MHz. I can get the DME system to work and measure distance to the VORs as it seems to work in MHz frequency range. In the past I remember the HSI working but that was a while ago. Hope everyone is well, recently i have been in a loop whole of finding posky 747's (for fsx), some of them have perfect gear function, some of them do not. Does anyone know where i can find good posky 747s? and how i can fix the gear issue?
