	Could anyone tell me what I should set my bufferpools to for a Nvidia GTX960 with 1GB VRAM? My GTX980 bit the dust and had to go back to the 960. The 980 was working fine with bufferpools set at 0, but now with the 960, it still runs without too much stuttering, but I keep getting anoying screen flashes, probably because I dropped from 4GB VRAM to 1GB VRAM, I am waiting to find another 980 at a decent price to replace the one that crapped, for now I have to use the 960 but these screen flashes are distracting. I've been playing around with the bufferpools but I either get serious stutters or I get really bad screen flashes. What would be a good "sweet-spot" setting for my bufferpools with only 1GB VRAM?

	I have purchased the C441 from Flysimware, and downloaded FSX, because it's not compatible with MFS2024, or 2020 from what I know?

	Looking for guidance, videos' tips on how to do this properly. (I am technically challenged, so need something straightforward).. or somebody who has experience with this who can guide me?

	Hi All,<br />
	Some good but sad news for simmers. After nearly 15 years on line, FSXMissionsHangar.com will be closing the hangar doors. We've got literally hundreds of FREE, HighQuality missions for the taking. I hate to see this work slip into oblivion when our last day is done... thus the free downloads to all. We've traditionally charged $10 annually for the downloads, but now they're yours for the taking and sharing. You'll need to still register an account with a legit email address, but that's it. Enjoy and help preserve and share this exciting source of missions.<br />

	Fsx keeps rendering AI models, untill they are smaller than 1px in size. This is actually the main FPS killer for me, as I don`t even lose much FPS on the AI processing itself. I tried the SmallPartRejectRadius tweak, but it only seems to affect the buildings. Any way I can make FSX stop rendering the models when they are smaller than 6px in size?

	Hello all,
</p>

<p>
	Well, it seems FSX-SE doesn´t like to run like in previous times under WIN10. I built a new AMD system (not high end, but more than enough for FSX) and the problem is VAS! We all know or knew this problem. I got it under control using DX10 with SteveFixer in Windows 10.
</p>

<p>
	Now, in Windows 11 25H2, nogo. I have a home airport which I really know very well with all settings and weather, GSX2 with or without traffic etc. etc. Of course it was exciting using VAS Monitor, but it was controlable. The same setup in Windows 11, freshly installed, VAS is a killer.
</p>

<p>
	That is very disappointing. Al efforts did not succeed. Windows 11, I love it.
</p>

<p>
	Be careful

<p>
	I use the excellent AIG traffic for P3D V4.5 as i found Ultimate Traffic Live a bit disappointing and very out of date.
</p>

<p>
	I still dabble in flying FSX from time to time and I wondered if its at all possible to get AIG traffic working in FSX so i can ditch UTL entirely. I know the one click install method does not work ( I only use BGL flightplans). Is it possible at all to use the flight plans and models from my P3D installation in FSX? and if so how would this be done? I am not sure if this is possible but I thought no harm in asking,

	a2a stable of airplanes refuse to accept my simconnect versions, or perhaps I should say sometimes they work, but mostly not.  These are the freely downloadable simconnect versions available to everyone.  I have <strong>all</strong> of the <strong>simconnect versions</strong>.  I'd like to say I downloaded all from Just Flight recently, but I already had every one of the files.
</p>

<p>
	It's only a2a planes.  No joy at a2a forums, I'm told it's my fault for still using FSX/A.  That may or may not be since I'm now using <strong>Windows 11</strong>, but that's now how I purchased the planes.
</p>

<p>
	These planes worked perfectly with FSX/A when I was using <strong>Windows 7 64</strong>.
</p>

<p>
	I don't have the time to invest in another (newer) simulation, so that's not an option.

	Hi all, I'm new to this flightsim thing as I only just got a copy of FSX (Gold edition). After flying a few missions and doing a bunch of lessons I was excited to find out I could create my own missions with the SDK Mission Creation Kit. I know very little about programming and coding, but if I stick at something long enough I can usually figure stuff out. I'm proud to say I completed the Mission Creation Tutorial (after 3 attempts getting it wrong) and now I've created a couple of missions for myself. I admit there's been a lot of trial and error involved.<br />
	One of the missions requires dropping off a crate at a location (like dropping off the apple crates in the Resort Supply mission- that's where I got my idea) but for the life of me I have no idea of how to achieve that. Everything else in my mission has been completed (I left the hard bit for last) and it all runs smoothly.<br />
	Everything I've read suggests looking at other missions to see what other people have done. I learned how to convert .spb to .xml (I did this with the Resort Supply mission) so I could load it into the OPT, but trying to track someone's pathways just made my head spin. I tried looking at the .xml in Notepad but it still didn't make any sense.<br />
	<br />
	So here's my question - could someone please give me a concise step-by-step quick guide of what I have to do so that when I pull up at the POI a crate will be unloaded from my plane. I've almost got the hang of Triggers and Actions and Conditions and the like, so you don't have to explain things like you were talking to a moron, yet don't get so technical it makes my nose bleed again. Middle of the road kinda stuff. I'd greatly appreciate all the help I can get. I'm also happy to upload the .xml for the mission I'm talking about if it helps at all.<br />
	<br />
	For the record, I'm running FSX on a 15yo computer with Win 10 Pro and three 32inch monitions for that wraparound view when flying... it's awesome!!<br />
	<br />
	Thanks in advance for any and all help I might (or might not) get.<br />
	<br />
	Ted.

	I'm not sure where to post this. I'm new here.
</p>

<p>
	I just recently upgraded my system with some new hardware and such. Here's what I have:
</p>

<p>
	Optiplex980 desktop PC, 2.9GHz CPU, 16GB RAM(MAX), GTX980Ti GPU with 4GB VRAM, I have fsx installed on a 250GB SSD. I'm flying mostly default planes, I do have a few 3rd party aircraft and ground vehicles, but al have worked fine in the past.  Ok, before the upgrade I had only 12GB RAM ,a 2.4GHz CPU and a GTX960 1GB VRAM. FSX ran ok on that but only gave a FPS of 8 or 9. Why am I still getting low FPS around 9 or 10 sometimes maybe up to 16 if I ain't movin' . I've set all my sliders to min and still get low FPS. I thought with all the upgrades it would at least improve some, I'd be happy with at least 20FPS, but 9 is ridiculous. I've tried out the 'tweaks' and still no improvement. Is there anything else I can maybe do to improve my FPS? It's really hard to take off and land with 9FPS because of the serious stutters. Daytime flying seems to be a bit better than night flying. Daytime gives me about 18FPS which is tollerable, but night drops down to 9FPS. I've tried about everything I can think of to fix this. If this system isn't going to support FSX any better than this, I don't want to pump more money into it. I'd rather just save my money and buy a new machine specificly for FSX (at which point I would upgrade to a newer FS).

	Hello,

<p>
	I’m trying to run multiple monitors with my copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition, but whenever I drag anything (a window or the kneeboard) to another display it turns into a weird square, the game freezes, and then crashes a few seconds later. This happens in both fullscreen and windowed mode.

	Is there any way I can get a NEW FRESH main texture folder? Mine is messed up. It happened when I installed GSX and then uninstalled. Ever since then I can't get any textures to work right, I have no sun or moon showing except sometimes i get a white square box where the sun is supposed to be. None of my CVX exclusions work at all anymore. I've re-installed EVERYTHING other than the OS itself. I think some stuff was modified in my texture folder that somehow didn't get replaced or is still being modified whenever I start FSX. It works the first time I start it after the install, but if I ever have to restart FSX then the texture folder everts back to the modified one. Something keeps modifiying the system. I'm not a professional programmer or computer tech, so I don't know anything about Windows file system or file structure or anything. I think GSX must have modified something on the actual OS that keeps loading and replacing the texture folder with the one that don't work. I have no idea how this is being done even when I completely deleted every single copy of the old and damaged texture file, including backups of it. I need a good working copy of the texture folder without having to re-install FSX for the 3rd time.

	I need some help. I recently tried to install this GSX from FSDremaTeam, and it totally screwed up my sim. I managed to remove the GSX but now my 'sun' texture is nothing but a pink square box in the sky. I had a copy of my original sun textures and tried replaceing the textures, but still have nothing but a square pink box instead of the sun. I have made a bunch of mods to the sim and added a lot of addon airplanes, I don't want to have to re-install FSX again. I went through that once already and it's areal pain to have to put everything back in and get it running smoothly again. How can I get the sun back or simply just remove the darn thing altogether ,I can live without it. That stupid square box is annoying, I'd rather have no sun show at all than to have that big,square,pink box up there.
