February 17, 20215 yr I installed FSX:SE recently to fly with the PMDG MD-11X again with MFG Crosswind V2 pedals. I've some weird behavior with my toe brakes on my rudder pedals. Both left and right brakes are constant applied in FSX. When applying pressure on my pedals in FSX left and right toe brakes behave differently while settings are the same. When for example I apply to the left a certain pressure it FSX tells me it's having differential braking. But when the same amount of pressure is applied to the right, no differential braking. I noticed when playing with the calibration settings the amount of pressure to trigger this differential braking changes. I double checked all my other control inputs and I couldn't find anything what was controlling the brakes except for default keyboard command (period key) and my rudder pedals. I did the large amount of testing in the PMDG MD-11X but have the same issues in other default aircraft's. Calibration is checked with the MFG Configurator and is good. The same calibration and similar control assignments are working fine in P3D v4.
February 18, 20215 yr Are the axes for left and right properly separated? You say it calibrates fine in P3D, but have you calibrated the pedals in FSX itself? Sorry for asking, wasn't sure. Perhaps make sure that STEAM itself is not interfering with the control setup: https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/135512931356432928/ Mark Robinson Part-time Ferroequinologist Author of FLIGHT: A near-future short story (ebook available on amazon) I made the baby cry - A2A Simulations L-049 Constellation Sky Simulations MD-11 V2.2 Pilot.
