I have searched all over the FSX file library and I cannot find the base file for Manfred Jahn's DC-3/C-47...Tons of repaints but no base file...Can someone guide me to the file? Thanks!

Hi Folks; I do need some help on this. Strangely, out of the blue QW 787 started freezing 5 to 10 mins after start up. Everything is fine until I start to taxi (5 mins after pre-flight) or about 10 min into the flight, and my PC just freezes with the FSX screen still up and I have to reboot to get out of it. The strange thing is this only happens with the QW787, I did exactly the same flights with same conditions with PMDG 747-4 and -8, iFLY 747-4 and -8 and no issues whatsoever, flying hours at a time. When I look at the even log I am getting the same error every time which I have attached below. The puzzling thing is the error has nothing to do with FSX …

Hi, I did email REX support about this but only got a generic (seemingly "bot") reply that actually didn't answer it. Since the only aircraft I ever fly are my A2A and Milviz aircraft, it seems a waste to have to devote processing power to the stock Microsoft 747-400 and 737-800 aircraft etc when all I ever use them for is AI. I could use something like the Aardvark models instead and would then likely be able to shift the traffic slider a bit further to the right. But since I do not want to muck with new traffic flight plans (I am perfectly happy with the stock Microsoft plans), I am concerned I might hit a snag when it comes to the repaints, since from what I can tell there are no repaints for low poly AI aircraft to match off against the existing Microsoft fictitious airlines. …

I will try and make a long story as short as possible. I was running FSXSE for years with no problem. All of a sudden when I go to "Free Flight" and open it-no aircraft shows in the window. If I attempt to change the aircraft nothing shows in the detail window. this applies to ALL, default and addons. If I start the flight I get only the Panel...no outside aircraft texture...not white or black...just invisible. Hi fellow enthusiasts! Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere but I could not find it searching the forums. Having an annoying issue with FSX SE Flight Planner not saving flight plans correctly. When comparing with a downloaded flight plan, I notice the degree symbol (°) in the downloaded flight plan is a question mark symbol (�) in the FSX SE generated flight plan. Both headers have UTF-8 as encoding and I have switched my windows 10 language pack to English (USA) but still nothing works. The result is when loading a previously saved flight plan, all waypoints/airports are at LAT 0 LONG 0. The only way to resume my flight is to re-create the flight…

Downloaded aircraft appear infolder but not in display menu. all variations checked. Yes. Model sound texture cfg air file jpg yes. I finally got one plane to appear in the menu but when I selected it my screen went black and I was no longer on fsx. All models were extracted to the airplane folder and there are no compressed folders in the extracted folders.

I re-installed fsx steam. Then installed Coolsky DC-9 Classic, and hf1, 2, 3, 3c SE. Now, I can't set parking brake. Any idea? Haseen Ahmad.

hello all, I deleted FSX to do a fresh start a week ago. (I also had ENB Series installed on it) this one: https://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=193817&CatID=fsxmisc I did a fresh start. I did again install FSX with much less add-ons and I got ENB Series again. this time the game goes to the splash screen (with the orange sky and blue ocean saying Flight Simulator X Steam Edition) it stays like this for 5 seconds and immediately crashes with no error, it just won't launch. Of the many add ons I have installed and verified the files are where they are supposed to be.. I deleted the game like 2 weeks ago so I can have a fresh start. so then I reinstalled it with very few add-ons. like the 4th time I launched the game the game would show the splash screen for 5 seconds and die immediately. I still fly this old sim because it is the only sim I can fly the Capt Sim 707 and the A2A B-377 in but can I make it look as good as P3D or ? I do have Orbx world textures for FSX installed but there must be more out there that I could try..

Hello everyone ... I have decided to make my own Skin, and I have gone to the PMDG page to download the Paint Kit 737800/900 for FSX, but it is no longer available ... And I have found the Paint Kit, but nothing else for the 737-700 ... I have also searched web.archive.org but the files are corrupted ... Even when i fly at 39.000 feet, i can still see the ground clearly. How can i reduce visibiliy and add clouds?

The fsx.exe file is missing from my FSX Steam Edition and despite running a search of my C: drive it doesn't appear anywhere. When I click on the desktop shortcut to FSX it says "The item 'fsx.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved so this shortcut will no longer work properly. Can someone help with this as I really don't want to have to do a reinstall of FSX SE and probably all my addons as well.

I found my boxed version for FS2004 and was wondering if anyone tried to install it in FSX. If it does not work, is there a way to patch it for FS2004? Thanks! Airbus

Hi. I purchased the product on SimMarket today. I downloaded and tried to install, but I couldn't. When I click on the rexinstaller.exe file nothing happens. I use Windows 10 and FSX-SE. Has anyone experienced this problem? Thanks.

Hello I have the pmdg 747-400 QOTS-2. Whenever i try to install the 747, the installer says that there is a co-existence failure. I submitted a ticket on the pmdg portal. They said that both registry points out to the same location for two simulators and this will confuse the installers. I use FSX-SE. can anyone help ? Any help will be appreciated Thanks
