A recent nVidia GPU driver has played havoc with some users. Appears it added a new system file that does not agree with FSX SE. It took me a lot of searching and luck to find out about it. I have been able to help five other users with this solution, so it is not unique to a single system. Here is a link to a discussion here on Avsim. Great results for that user, and it contains a link to where I originally found the solution. Hope this helps more users. Just rename the file that is mentioned so it cannot be found, or delete it if you wish. I just renamed it with a preceding underscore character. From "NvCamera32.dll" to "_NvCamera32.dll"

So a few weeks ago i tempered with the default.xml file in the Autogen folder and whenever i fire up FSX: SE it creates an extra FSX folders in the appdata and programdata, causing fsx se not to read my already installed scenery and fsx config data in the usual fsx_se folders. Tried deleting them and deleting the Flight Simulator entry in the registry editor and keeping the Flight Simulator Steam Edition but it still wont work like before. What should i do?

After several fresh downloads and triple checking the installation still cannot release the weapons. The saved flights show they are there in the top right corner of the screen but will not release. Tried changing the release droppable object command to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix?

Anyone using the Maddog X in FSX:SE? I loved this plane in FS9, but since purchasing it for FSX it's been a disappointment. The flight dynamics are very native feeling to the default aircraft, the ability to take off on shorter runways is not possible, and the LOC capture leads to zig-zagging. I love that many aspects of it are realistic and imported from how I remember it in FS9; However, those issues make it mostly unusable. I can essentially master the PMDG 737, Majestic Dash-8, and A2A planes, but this is a mess to me. Am I the only one?? I never get responses on their support site since they stopped updating the 32 bit version.

Good Evening, It's been a while since I posted her but wondering if someone can shed some light. I have a website based around my flying on FSX-SE and I'm looking to track my flights via a live map on my site. Something that I can click a button to track and it appears. The VA I also fly for has some thing like that for their flights but it's proprietory. Any advice Nathan

I recently re-installed everything on my SSD and now, when I open FSX-SE, it also opens the FSX folder in Windows Explorer. Although it's not a big deal, it's not supposed to do that so I wonder if anyone has any ideas about preventing it. I have Windows 10 64 bit.

Hello, I downloaded tht Tu-154-B2 for FSX and I need to say it's one of the most detailled freeware aircraft I've ever flown! I tried myself with the NVU navigation, everything worked well. When coming to the course correction, I got it to work with RSBNs. But how to update the position via a VORDME, as RSBNs are only located in Russia? I entered everything also a channel, but when I start the calibration, the Z coordinate starts to increase very fast, and it won't come to an end. What do I need to do, if I want to do it right? I recently purchased the Rockwell AC690 Turbo Commander for FSX Steam from Carenado's website and I am encountering several problems, which I have already tried to contact Carenado's technical support, but without success! Hello i have added this plane to my FSX hangar and it looks very good . I am keen to fly it,but the Lear autopilot does not work in the VC. All other functions in the VC work that I have tried, but this does not. I am talking about the unit at the centre top of the VC. where changes in pitch and turn can be made. It works in the No VC view. of course this makes it impossible to fly properly in VC . does anyone know how to fix it please.? The website shown in the documentation no longer exists. Thank you

I run FSX-Steam on an older i7 win 10 Dell x8500. I installed ORDX PNW and some of their other libraries. I was having trouble flying in the NW because of running low on memory so I turned off ORBX and deleted the entries from the scenery system. I also notice that the ORBX elevation corrections fouled up the stock scenery so I disabled the offending entries.I still have memory issues in the NW so I'm thinking about just deleting all of the ORBX entries. Is there an easy way to delete ORBX or do I just use the brute force method (delete key)? Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated. I do fly complex aircraft, i.e., PMDG DC-6, so I need the memory cushion. …

Returning after a 2 year break and getting ready to install FSX SE I already own win 7 but can go win 10 Any preference one over the other for FSX SE? I only use pc for sim and Netflix you tube etc

Hello friends, I have a particular problem with the PMDG 737. When I have already had a flight time of 2-4 hours or even less, the FSX freezes and shuts down completely. Or also when I want to go to the main menu of the game, the screen goes black and the simulator closes. Hello, To up my realism in FSX ive turned off unlimited fuel and I want to start properly refuelling my aircrafts, So I went on a fuel planner on google and it told me my Fuel on board should be 10663 Pounds So I went into FSX to refuel my 737 however i noticed i have 3 tanks, Left, Centre and Right tanks, Im just wondering how you work out how you disripute the 10663 Pounds across them 3 tanks, Kindest Regards, Scott

Hello I am using AIG AI traffic for fsx. All the AI traffic for qatar airways is based in OTBD instead of OTHH. I have read many forums but none were really helpful. Can anyone help me to move the traffic from OTBD to OTHH? Thanks

Returning from a long absence What size windows 10 SSD should I get? I run FSX SE on a separate SSD but I think a lot of files end up on windows. Is 120 gb enough?

The VSI gauge for the Hiller OH-23 does not display properly. It only displays the needle with no gauge showing. I have replaced the gauge and needle but have the same result. Can anyone help me with this issue? I am using FSX Gold Edition and modified the panel with FS panel studio for FSX. Thanks

I hope someone can throw some light on this problem using NpCv2.2 in FSX SE. I have had this great little programme for a few months but have tended only to use it for ADF. However I now want to use it to set up frequencies on my Nav2 but it doesn't work. The Nav/Comm 1 works and so does the Txpdr. I can set the OBS for both Nav1 and Nav2. I looked in FSUIPC4 and all seems okay. I tried to put in the parameter (2) for just the Nav2 but it didn't accept the change. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

hello i recently downloaded the shader release 3.2.3 in the avsim library, then I ran the setup as admin, and it said it couldnt locate the shader10 directory, and told me to remove the dir manually, i removed it and it still cant install, anyone help me?, thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, I increasingly run into issues with my installation when i install any kind of new addon airports. Even though i always search for older sceneries before the installation of a new version of the same airport/region, some thing get overlooked and causes issues like double buildings. An example is virtualcols colombia virtual extreme, which I installed like 6 years ago but has outdated airports which conflict with modern PKSim ones when installed. But i would like to keep the non-airport objects that virtualcol has. I have a few add-on prop aircraft that I can't fly unless I check the forever fuel in the config. Is there a cfg that can be edited for this and the fuel quantity?

Good Afternoon I have re-installed the Feelthere/Wilco Regional Jet E-170/190 package. (E jets) I had a Navigraph subscription until April 2021, and update the the Feelthere installation with the latest cycle 0421. When I now go to the FMS and want to enter a flight plan and the ICAo code of the one airport has changed IE: FAJS is now FAOR, the FMS gives a message saying "Data not available" Where or which folder can be verified to check about the correct airport information. I am capable of adding way-points in the same FMS and even create SID's & STAR's! Can one just create this airport as a way-point? Am I missing something? …

I’m not sure where this came from. In fact I had more in FS2004 than when started using FSX. I still don’t get any. Like I mentioned on another post, I can fly constantly between payware airports, in the PMDG NGX, with ORBX textures, REX and other texts enhancements. And never get an OOM. That’s why I never moved to P3D. I felt I didn’t need to. What were people doing wrong to get one?
