thought i'd take a chance....can anyone get the cold lake texture to work on virtavia f-104...(aphasim) ...i checked with virtavia, but no luck.....thanks......

I've noticed a few days ago that when I setup an aircraft at a commercial airport at least 3 or 3 aircraft UT populates the airport with are lacking their textures. I thought this had been caused when I added some new aircraft to FSX so I uninstalled UT Live and re-installed it. Unfortunately this didn't fix the problem. Aircraft with missing textures are still appearing. Kind of kills the "real as it gets" feel! Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any idea as to how to fix it? I posted this problem on the UT Live support forum a couple of days ago but have yet to get a response....

Hello fellow simmers, So for about 4 months now I have been using FSX to fly on Vatsim without any major issues at all. Which does speak a little for this old sim... But yesterday I encountered another (to me) inexplicable problem with scenery. I wanted to fly long-haul from Boston to Zurich and I was using one of Ray Smith's AFCAD file's for Boston. On the inbound flight to Boston the default buildings showed up perfectly even with the AFCAD. But when I loaded in to fly back there were no default buildings, only lonely jetways standing on the ground... and today I encountered the same problem in ESSA (Stockholm) where I also used one AFCAD file in the…

I've tried multiple time to install 737 PIC in FSX on a Windows 10 system. The installer starts up, asks what language to use then starts preparing the InstallWizard then disappears and stops dead in it's tracks. I've tried installing it as administrator and with WinXP, WinVista and Win7 compatibility. Nothing works. Any help would be appreciated!

I have a problem with the 2D panel for the QW Ultimate 146. In the latest version the RJ 70/85 and BAe146-300 use a that has two small MFDs on the left side of the panel and a large MFD in the center. When I load, for example, a BAe146-300 I get a message in both of the small MFD: "ERR_Startup Error Unable to start QW146-1": The middle MFD has several randomly arranged yellow dots?. The question is, is the panel corrupted or do I have to power up the panel (and if so, how do I do that)? Any help would be appropriated (I post a message on the QW Ulitmate 146 forum a couple of days ago but have yet to get a response)!

bought their fsx missions - united airlines bundle pack - no "feature" to use the aircraft of your choice included, no user guide included. Bought their fsx missions delta 717-200. The .mdl file references a .mdl that is not included in the download so you have an invisible aircraft and an invisible vc - you fly the whole flight with the 2d panel and popup panels. contact support? - no response

Hi everyone. It's been a while. As an old FS fan (1982)!, I do most of my flying in Europe. Decided to fly in the US today and came across this problem. ILS approach to KSFO RW 28R in and old Boeing 737 200 (CS). Lined up nicely for the approach at 4000 feet. Localiser active Glide slope acquired nicely. As I approached the airport, I saw that although my ILS indicator and map showed me perfectly lined up, the runway was askew! In all my years of flying in FS, I don't think I've ever come across this before. Any ideas, suggestions please. (FSX Steam Edition)

Operate W10x64 with 3 x GTX770 GPU. FSXSE. Can anyone tell me how FSX defines the GPU's in the settings? I see Nvidia GTX770.0 to Nvidia GTX770.4. This suggests 5 ports, whilst I have 6 (7 if you count the native graphics port). Its the same in the .CFG. I have an issue where the same machine ran FS9 with 5 screens of views/panels, but if any FSX view/panel is shifted to the monitors on the #3 GPU the sytems thinks about it a bit, then FSXSE does a CTD with a g2.dll error on appcrash. Is it that for some reason the program is not 'seeing' the #3 GPU (which runs vpilot/vatspy/ anything else fine) and if so, is there a way anyone could tell me how to get …

Hello All, I mostly run all aircraft with Flight1's GTN750 or GTN 650. Lately I been getting back to flying VOR/ DME / NDB for fun. I'll still use the GTN 750 in non GPS mode But would like to add a window with the FSX stock gauges for old school flying. Any help in creating this much appreciated. I can't get the AP to engage. I hit CMD and the green light goes on for a second, and then it goes right out...so, no autopilot...the INS align and FMC programming all go smoothly...any ideas?

PMDG Head Dude What's in Charge Randazzo announced in his forums that effective 14 Jun 21, PMDG will no longer sell add-ons for any sim platform except Prepar3D v4/5 and MSFS. So if you're an FSX user with any intentions of acquiring an FSX version of any PMDG acft, Jun 13th is the last day those products will be available. Note that this extends to *purchases* and not support...according to RSR, products for FSX purchased before the cutoff will still be supported.

Hi All I have been unable to send voice or text on VATSIM with this aircraft. VPilot shows that the system is reading my Com 1 and Com 2 radios frequency settings but nothing transmits when I use the PTT button or by using text. This problem only occurs with this aircraft. I'm running FSX Steam on a windows 10 machine. I have FSUIC freeware installed but I haven't a clue how to use it. It's a pity because its a very nice and detailed aircraft and I was looking forward to flying it online. As far as I can see this aircraft has attracted a number of very smart people who have devised tweaks. Perhaps one of them might offer me some advice. Thanks

bought the a/c but have lost the files due to computer problem, have the activation code. where can I just get the d/l?

purchased FSX deluxe from amazon and, downloaded it to an external drive. I already have a copy of FSX on my desktop, I have had it there since 2009...Anyway, I plugged the external drive in to do some flying and was asked to activate it via the product key...Well the product key was wrong and wouldn't activate...Ok, i then unplugged the external drive and attempted to fly from FSX on my desktop, it too is now asking me to activate using a product key...I no longer have that product key...How can i get my desktop FSX started without using a product key. What the heck happened? Now i can no longer get into my sim on the desktop!

I have my speed hold set to 300KTS, but when I hit the Speed hold button at 400KTS it puts it to full throttle immediately and will not slow down. Any Help?

Hi folks, I've been flying in FSX for quite a while and went back and flew to TNCM. I saw the airport and was really confused because this is the texture that came up when I landed. I've added a number of textures in the past but none of them relate to TNCM. I tried using another scenery for the airport to see if it fixed the issue but nothing happened. Does anyone know how to solve this?

I've searched for weeks but I still can't find a TDS 737-800 non-winglet model for FSX with a virtual cockpit. Does anyone know if there is? Thanks Cgaming365

is there a proper way to lean mixture on aircraft like DHC-2 Beaver or Grumman Goose? Those do not have EGT or Fuel Flow gauges, which is what I have read is used to determine how to lean mixture. I can wing it (pun not intended) with 15% per 1000ft seemingly working fine, but would like to know he proper way of doing this.

I bought Aerosoft VFR London X Scenery for FSX yesterday. I started to fly, I noticed there is not promised boat and car traffic, Thames river and streets are empty. there are not AI Aircraft's either, so I bought Traffic 360. Did I flush my Euros into toilet.

Where is the CFG file location to edit to get AI flights to appear in FSX? Thanks for any help in advance regards

I have lots of code that controls planes from takeoff to Landing via automated script etc. to allow for quick changes while using VATSIM staffed ATC on network flights, I just built an LUA script that allows keyboard entry to change any or all of the following while inflight: Heading Altitude Com1 Com2 Nav1 Nav2 Squawk Much easier than fooling with mouse and dials etc. If you are interested, please reply and I will get notified. I discovered a weird problem with the Meigs Airport in the FSX default scenery a couple of days ago (while trying to insall a freeware version of Meigs). I was going to add some screenshots showing the problem but I can see anyway of doing that. The problem is that a huge multi story building is straddling the runway and there are trees and bushes sprouting up all over the tarmac and runway. What the heck is going on here, and more importantly how to I remove the building, trees and bushes?

I put FSAUDIO.DLL in my Windows 10 windows\sysem32 folder just as I had in my Windows XP windows/system32 folderso the Tinmouse 737-200 would run in FSX. When I load a Tinmouse 737-20 in FSX on my Windows 10 system I get a ,message saying that FSAUDIO.DLL failed to load with error 0x7e and said to put FSAUDIO.DLL in the windows/system32 folder and to restart the appp, But, as I said, I had done that already.. Has anyone else had this problem? Actually, the Tinmouse 737-200 appears to load and run ok (so far as I can tell with it sitting at a gate). How do I fix the problem (or do I even need to)?

So you only have those A220 from CamSim, which doesn't have any VC. Then, you have Virtualcol A220, but I dont wanna pay up for just a single aircraft. Help!
