G'Day Folks, First post here! So, I wanted to assign a new keyboard short cut, but there flight deck switch isnt located in the FSX key assignment list. So, how do I generate a keyboard shortcut for something not listed? Thanks folks

Hello, everyone. After a decade of rather personal issues to deal with, I decided to give FSX and FS9 another go. With my new machine I can max out every setting without getting any performance issues. But here's where the problem starts. I have a number of sceneries that look god awful with maxed out settings. Austria Professional among them. I can't seem to find a setting to make the Vienna Scenery look good. It should be a mixture of landmarks and generated blocks, but all I can manage to make the landmarks pop up, with the general scenery looking like a greenish brown mess. Hello, i want to download an addon from a friend that uses p3d (i use fsx). I know that there are ways to convert p3d mdl files to fsx via the p3d sdk v1.4 and model converter x however i cannot seem to do so as p3d sdk v1.4 keeps crashing. Is there any other way to do this? Hello everyone, i am Murat Deniz Şenol, hope you are having a good day, i have a question, because my computer have a low capacity RAM, i have to set scenery Resolution to low, otherwise i get problems for example the aircraft disappears from the screen even though i can still hear the engine sounds. But i want to see taxiway signs while taxiing. So will i get any problems like i told if i download an airport scenery update from avsim library to see taxiway signs? Or is there any other solutions? Good day everyone, i have a problem, it happened to me twice. 1- I was on Route from Frankfurt to Tel Aviv, while i was approaching to tel Aviv, i opened the map to see where i am, then i closed the map, scenery reloaded and i found myself while flying over somewhere in USA. 2- Yesterday i was on a flight from Manchester to Warsaw, when i get close enough, i tried to get descend clearance from the default atc, then i found myself while flying over central africa. What can cause those and how can i prevent it?

Hallo! i have been using FSX Steam for several years without any problem in Windows 7.Then I decided to go to Windows 10. Old HDD out and I installed a bright new SSD disk. Installed Windows 10 and then downloaded and installed FSX Steam, no addons. Everything works, but the problem is, when I place an aircraft at a gate it is to much foreward. The nosewheel is not at the end of the yellow line.Yellow line end under the middle of the aircraft. It is the same with the aircrafts that FSX placed at other gates. Same problem with all airports. I'm as useful at coding as an eye dropper at a forest fire. Hi all, If like me, you were dying to be able to assign keyboard commands to all of the FCU (AP) functions on your FSL A320, you can now do so. :smile: I have created a LUA file, that can be used with the registered version of FSUIPC. It allows key assignment to all FCU controls. It was created with FSX:SE but should also work fune with P3D (as long as you have Registered FSUIPC. I would like to thank @Guensli, for locating all of the ipc.control parameters (for his LINDA project). I am looking for some help with this after trying the Carenado forum (here) and Carenado themselves with no result. I got an invitation to comment on how Carenado did with my ticket but nothing else! Well, not yet. I have their Caravan EX and I am trying to get the prop to feather. I have the throttle set to give reverse thrust (It moves all the way back beyond the detente and even moves the a/c backwards on the ground) but the prop control will not move all the way back. An entry in the aircraft.cfg file makes think it should (feather=1) but I can't get it to do that. Can anyone help? I'm using FSX SE and FSUIPC4.

hello, I am looking to get FreeMeshX 2.0 for FSX Steam but 45 gb is huge for time. I barely have any time to play FSX and I cannot leave the computer on during the night (please don't ask why) is there a maybe a google drive file that downloads the thing at unlimited speed? for people that say ORBX is better, ORBX is waaay too much expensive even for a single continent and this one covers the entire world for free. thanks

As the title says I own the wonderful Eaglesoft Citation11 1.5 plane.in my new FSX Accl. install in Windows 10 the plane loads with the cargo door opened ? I always have to Shift+2 to close it or i get all kinds of bells and whistles Until I close it. how can i make it load with the door closed by default? Been opting out of GPS and doing a lot of cross country lately. I use the Flight1 GTN750 but not in map/gps mode. To date have logged approx 2K hours in one version or another of MSFS since mid 1980's. Mostly in FW single and twin GA props. Going back to VOR/DME/NDB is more labor intensive and for now more rewarding. Watch many 'YouTube" videos Rod Machado, 310Pilot, Baron Pilot, Martin Pauly, Steveokinevo, FlightChops, KermitWeeks and many others. They have helped me better manage the aircraft and get more immersed in the sim experience. So much to glean and improve on instead of just watching a pretty map and follow the magenta line. Every time I fire up FSX SE the music is heard. I un- click the music box but that doesn't help. The music will turn off then, but it's back on the next time the sim is on.

I have a ton of scenery and right now nearly all have a red triangle next to them. Dream team Scenery is ok. Is there an easy way of fixing this, or do I have to fix each one individually?

Hello! I have an old laptop with NVIDIA graphics. It’s good for FSX:SE. I used FPS Limiter and Anti-Aliasing in Profile Inspector in ‘MS Flight Simulator X’ profile. But on my newer PC I have the profile with a different name ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator 10’. Anti-Aliasing works only windowed mode and FPS limiter does’t work.

Good day fellow simmers. First of all yes, I did buy the Wilco Dassault Falcon 7X and it was only after that when I read about it's "glory" in the forums... It is a struggle but I am willing to get it to work since I think it is a beautiful aircraft. I bought it through Steam for FSX-SE. Surely there must be someone out there with a little bit experience in the Wilco 7X. My first problem was that I could not load a flight plan through the FMC. It always gives me this error: "Loading flight plan failed! This indicates a computer resource issue. Reloading flight plan recommended." Hello everyone, my simpit is finally coming together: Im using opentrack together with a ps3 eye camera and that works fine - as long as it is left alone. Besides that, I have a bunch of input hardware hooked up to an Arduino Mega, which is communicating with fsx:se via a FSUIPC lua script. That's working fine as well. (Exept some issues i still have to debug, but that's not the issue here.) The moment i start the lua script, opentrack freezes - sort of. The program still responds to all inputs, but the camera view shown in the opentrack window freezes. (To be precise the camera view flickers - between the last two images received I guess…

I successfully used mklink/J to transfer some large file directories off of the primary FSX drive to a separate hard drive. Although I have to say, I did not fully understand the utility.Thus, my question is how do I reverse the process without mistakenly deleting the files. In other words, I wish to revert back to the original. Below are the commands to reverse the changes, however I do not understand how and where to use them. While i was planning my approach, on the CDU sometimes i see something like ILS/X07, ILS/Y07, what are those? What is the difference between ILS07 and ILS/X07 or ILS/Y07?

In complex A/C, many developers use non standard methods increasing and decreasing settings on ALT and VS for example. I have the Remote Flight instrument software the runs on an IPAD. On the Flight 1 Beech King Air, the Altitude setting doesn’t seem to be updating the standard ALT setting in FSX. When ALT increase is triggered, the G1000 instrument ALT must be mapped to a custom instrument variable?? Bottom line it doesn’t issue the standard inputs and outputs to the FSX functions / variables?? Thus doesn’t interact with the Remote Flight IPad instruments. It is not across the board. The Heading Bug +- and com frequencies work fine. AP switches also. …

I am a complete noob and require lessons to learn flying. To my disappointment, i found that most in most lessons, there is an error which pops up before the lesson is loaded, saying that the associated sound script is missing. Then it loads the lesson but I have no idea what to do as no screen prompt or sound comes to tell me what to do. Please help. Is there anywhere i can download these scripts. I have tried the usual google search which tells me that others also have this issue and that there are files that can be downloaded but no one tells me where to download it. I am desperate for help. I downloaded FlightSimulator X Deluxe Edition from a DVD Installing was no problem and the product is running fie. Engine runs I can take off. However there is a big problem since the CDU screen remains black and I wonder how to activate it. Can anybody help ? Thank you Paul12
