Very recently purchase new Asus monitor, and using HDMI for the first time. Previous monitor was a DVI-I. Now I'm forced to turn off/on the monitor to scroll through the FSX menus and sub-menus. I also need to do the same after starting a flight. If I don't, I'm staring at a blank screen. Advice and opinion welcome.

I was flying the Carenado Cessna 208B Super Cargomaster in FSX today when I had some rudder problems and had to return to the airport. This problem was occurring before but on a very small, negligible scale. It was only today that it became a problem. What happened was my rudder kept deflecting all the way to the left (captain's side) of the aircraft. I searched multiple different dials and switches and ended up checking everything in the VC and couldn't find the cause of the problem. Hey guys I have been wondering how do you make ai traffic dissapear say using a keyboard shortcut? if you are trying to land at a busy airport or trying to takeoff and theres an ai plane standing in your way , how do you make it go away/

It looks as though FSXWX isn't working, cant download in the app (WX DATA initial download failed) and the site is offline. Hope it comes back, I really like it as a weather engine.

Just changed to a new computer some months ago, so I decided to go with the FSX Steam Edition, as it performs better. A few days I just got it back, after a looong break. Just got some of my payware planes installed as: Aerosoft A318,19,20,21 and the CRJs, Majestic DASH 8 q400, PMDG 777, 747, 737NGX, MD11, Embraer E Jets (170,5 190,5, and the erjs), BlackBox A330 and A340, Captain Sim 767, QW787. And also got the Real Environment Extreme from REX. Hey hey community, It´s been a while since the last time I did an add-on for FSX (I used to make aircraft repaints a few years ago, they should still be in AVSIM library). I was a teenager at the time, now I´m a full time flight attendant and on my time off I take flying lessons, I got my PPL checkride a few months ago. Hello everyone, I need some help over here. Today I bought this wonderfull product and pretty satisfied with it. But I have one (or two) issues, which I need some help with. First, when opening the 'OpusFSI reports' screen within FSX, it seems I can't get any data when selecting Upper or Lower athmosphere weather reports. hi, i was looking at the Digital aviation fokker 100 for FSX but it said "This product is no longer supported, and will not run on Windows 8 or 10. Note that Windows 7 is the only platform it may work on." i am only asking this question because the website said the F100 was only for FSX acceleration and sp2, but a forum i read said that it works with SE, so is there any chance it works for windows 10?

It has long been a goal of mine, to be able to fly around Mount St. Helens and experience what that sight was like, before the cataclysmic eruption on May 18, 1980. That eruption tore 1,400 feet off the top of the volcano and changed the landscape around it forever. Hello everyone, it's Murat Deniz Senol again. Hope someone would see this and help me. I just got and instaled the SCS Tupolev TU-134A-3. I did everything properly (batteries on, power selector, fuel pumps on etc. whatever necessary told in documents and tutorials) and i turned the "apu master" and "apu start" switches to on. actually at that time two lights shoul be illuminated; "apu inlet doors opened" and "apu is ready to start". The yellow "doors open" light illuminates but "ready to start" light doesn't so i couldn't start the apu and the whole aircraft either. Can anybody help me?

Hi! I'm brand new to the AVSIM Community, and grateful that this exists! I have been using a Gippsland GA8 Airvan aircraft (by Brian Gladden downloaded from Fly Away Simulations who ported to FSX from FS9). It is a great model, but there is a specific failure to the generator / electrical system I would like to add (failure of the over-voltage relay that protects the avionics bus over 16vdc). Is it possible to add custom failures to the aircraft failures list for selection? I've dug as hard as I can in various .cfg files and FSX files, but I can't find anything that relates to the failures list. If it is possible to add custom failures, then I'll spend some time…

hello, I have FSX Steam and I want to use FXAA tool since I saw what difference it makes. I have a nvidia GTX 960M 2GB (laptop) I7-5500u 2 core 2.4ghz and 16GB ram. I have downloaded Fxaa Tool SVN 117 (it says in the winrar) I have no idea how to activate it, nor use it or install it to FSX. if you have any idea please tell me. thanks!

Chaps, So reading the manual for this addon, only aircraft that had Air stairs as an option in the real world, got them in this product... Does anyone know if it's possible to enable air stairs on all liveries with the Avro, or is it just a select few models in game? If its possible to enable air stairs regardless of the livery, how do I go about enabling them? Even though it wouldnt be accurate to the airlines in the real world, I'd like to have the Air stairs enabled on all my liveries. I asked on the QW forum yesterday, but yet to get a response, so going to see if anyone here knows. regards

Hello, I recently downloaded Flight Simulator X a few days ago, and I have came across a new issue with my freewear/paywear textures not showing up, I’ve seen the other forums for the Direct Preview (I don’t see that with my simulator.) Any help on this would be really helpful!

Does anybody know if the Altitude button Four zones for increasing / decreasing altitude is mapped to keystrokes that can be mapped to joystick buttons, etc. the altitude and the other complex button controls as well.. I have a large 4K screen, and when I reduce the cockpit zoom size, the four zones for the altitude start to overlap. Sometimes it is too close to the top of the button, sets the bug to the current heading. Really awkward! Thanks!

Is there a difference between Sky Force and Active Sky? Which one is better?

Can anyone advise me about changing one or two of the default views in FSX SE. In particular I would like to change the ‘locked spot’ view (which I never use or need) to a view of a smallish part of the panel (some switches). I want to use the Hotkey (3) to assign a yoke button in FSUIPC so I can refer to the view quickly during flight. I have already used the hotkeys from 5 to 9 for other useful views. If I simply edit the cfg file will there be unexpected effects? If I do edit it will it be best to use a cockpit view or virtual cockpit (I’m never sure what the difference is!)? hello, I want to use FSX with Direct X10 since it gives me more performance boost, and I use the FREE steve's DX10 fixer (look for it on avsim library) my lights don't work (beacon, NAV etc.) and weirdly, I can't move the camera with the mouse, it isn't centered correctly, also the water looks different, is that normal? I can't buy steve's payware DX10 fixer please don't ask why. thanks
