Hello, I am having this problem where I load my sim to a parking lot and the position doesn't seem right. Usually with my freeware addon scenery. So, When I try using Ultimate Grow Crew X with the map then it shows in the correct position, But what I am seeing the plane seems to be pushed a bit more aforward. Does anyone have any clue. Thank you 😄

Have today purchased REALWORLDSCENERY - CYPRUS 3D After downloading RWS_CYPRUS_3D.7z.001 ,RWS_CYPRUS_3D.7z.002 and RWS_CYPRUS_3D.exe and running the exe. I loaded the Cyprus file into the scenery.cfg. With the Cyprus scenery being the only active scenery selected, appart from FSX base scenery, the Flight simulator crashes immediately on startup. Anyone, please help?

Hi , my C ; drive is full mostly addon scenery is taking up the space , therefore i copied the addon scenery folder to a new drive , my question is how do i activate it in the scenery library , do i have to redo each entry or is there a way i can make a shortcut so fsx can use the new drive

Downloaded fresh copy of Eaglesoft Citation X Generation 2 only to find that EFIS panels not opening. Believe that problem is with EICAS toggle switch which is improperly opening screen. Switch is three way with first step at Off, second opens basic radios, and third opens EFIS displays. Problem is that only basic functions can be started and I have no ideal how to fix this problem. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Suddenly something happenedd to my A300. The INS Mode Selectors disappeared from the overhead, the "INS 1-2" switch disappeared from the captain's panel just next to the TO/GA button and Engineer panel in VC became flat like a 2D panel. What can i do? It started to happen after i installed the Aerosoft dc-8 which also installed something called as "xmltools", can my problem be related with that?

Hello everyone. I have the 32bit version. Everything works properly, but vertical speed doesn't. I can start the engines, set and align the ins etc. but before take off i can't set the trim (the trim indicator doesn't move), after take off i engage the autopilot, lateral part works properly but seemingly the vertical speed doesn't. Also after ap engage, the ap doesn't follow my vertical instructions but i can set the trim manually and i can see the trim indicator moves. Before i engage the autopilot, vertical speed wheel moves, but after i engage the autopilot, it doesn't follow the setting i made. As i remember autopilot controls the vertical spe…

FSX:SE I was wondering why not all my gates has the default Pushback Tugs, Loader, belt and baggage truck at their gate when all my gates are correct small gate to large gate assigned and my slider is set to max My own custom GCLP Gran Canaria created with ADE has 26 Gates, but only 9 of them has the vehicles Anyone got an idear of how to increase the number of gates that has them? -Happy Flying

Hey Guys, This scenery is highly detailed and there are no problems when starting out and departing from Aerosoft Dublin. The issue is when I am arriving in Dublin, there are no textures and autogen in the Dublin area and the airport does not show at all in a case of severe blurries. I have tried many options such as deleting my FSX CFG so that it reloads a vanilla CFG but this has not worked. FSX runs competently on my system and I have numerous add on sceneries, including Aerosoft ones with bigger airports that are more recent and have not experienced a similar issue for the most part. Hello everyone. I just purchased two aerosoft jets. But when i entered my email and key, in both products' installation it says "could not found DLL_KEY PATH" and shuts down the installer. I read in a forum that it can be because of Antivirus sending the "ascrypt_pro.dll" to the quarantine but i don't have any antivirus programs running and i turned off the windows defender. How can i fix my problem?

Hello everyone. I have the Captain Sim 727, and installed CIVA INS. I enter the Position correctly, i wait until it completely aligns itself (until the "95" digits becomes 05),i make the required autopilot settings (Mode MAN, heading hold selected, pitch channel AB) but the autopilot doesn't follow the INS Route at all.. Am i doing something wrong?

I've forgotten how to disable FSX default jetways. I also wonder about disabling jetways in SDOE. Please advise if possible. Thanks.

After several years absence, due to a HDD death, I am re-installing FSX to continue my love of flying (simulated) helicopters and once again hunting through internet forums to find those essential "fixes" that make the hobby fun. One thing I cannot seem to find is Jordan Moore's flight dynamics fix for the default Bell 206B It was once available on Hovercontrol, but the site has sadly disappeared and although the web archive lists the page(s) from which to download, it appears that the file itself was never cached. Just got my PC fixed and had to reinstall FSX off steam. I originally had the Posky 777 installed working flawlessly. However, I've reinstalled the exact same pack (https://www.rikoooo.com/downloads/viewdownload/55/806) and now I'm not getting any messages on the EICAS (see attached picture). Note the parking brake is set, the APU is on, and engine 2 is shut down. Normally there should be a ton of alerts and messages but the section is blank and I have no clue what is missing. I checked all the .gau files are there and any other files people say should be there are there. I've checked a ton of websites and no one either has this issue or knows anything about it …

Hello everyone. I am planning to make a flight from Manchester to Halifax with Captain Sim L-1011. I am not sure which variant of the L-1011 that the captain sim l-1011 is. If the captain sim l-1011 is the L-1011-1 variant, this aircraft has a range about 4900km and my planned Route is about 4400km, should i be worried because my route's distance is very close to maximum range of the aircraft? And does anybody know which variant of the L-1011 that the captain sim l-1011 is?

Good evening everyone, i have the SimCheck A300B4-200 and i fly with the default ATC of FSX. I load waypoints manually to the INS for more realism, but when i do this, i can't ask the ATC for IFR clearance. In the ATC dialog box only "request visual clearance" appears. Am i doing something wrong? Or if i fly with VFR clearances, can i still ask for ils directives to atc while approaching to my destination? By the way if i enter the first 9 waypoints to the captain's ins and the following 9 waypoints to the first officer's ins, how can i switch between them? By switching between autopilot 1 and 2? (or AP a and b)?

When i fly with Simcheck A300, i enter the waypoints to ins for more realism, i wonder one thing, if i enter the first 9 waypoints to the captain's ins and the next 9 waypoints to the f/o's ins, how can i switch between them? Should i swith between autopilot 1 and 2 (or AP A and B) to do that? Or should i do anything else?

Hello, I am using FSX steam edition and noticed that some parts of land scenery is shown as water. As per attached picture from Hawaii PHOG from runway 02 towards the mountains. Noticed the same on flat areas like in Florida. Any clues? Thanks a lot!

After fsx is activated it won't play except in demo mode even though the install says it is activated and I get an error message saying it was not activated after the demo mode ends. The install says it was successfully activated and then says it wasn't activated?

Hi allI want to set up a custom view for the cockpit of my helicopter. I want to look out the left side and down to simulate looking at an under slug load.I have moved my eye point to the view I want. I want to be able to replace the default views so when I cycle through the views I have just the virtual cockpit and my custom view.Question isWhere do I enter the coordinates of the new view and what sections do I delete to only cycle through the two views I wantRegardsRhys

Hi all I have an issue with my saved flight. I have saved my flight in the virtual cockpit and ticked this as my default flight . When I launch my flight my view start from the tail boom not the virtual cockpit. I have gone back to the virtual cockpit and overwritten the file but my flights still start from the tail boom not the virtual cockpit . Regards Rhys

I just discovered Manfred Jahn's wonderful C-117D. I started with V2 but now I'm flying V3. Incidentally, I have some bootleg time in a C-117D while stationed in Iwakuni in the late 1970s. Couple of Questions: The panel contains an ADF but I can't find the ADF needle. Where's it hidden? The fuel system in the V2 contained 6 tanks with an operative fuel selector panel. The V3 contains 4 tanks but the fuel selector panel has several inop switches. How does one switch from the main to the aux tanks? The tail wheel on the MCAS Quantico paint appears bent when retracted. Is this just within the repaint? I was a member of the Quantico Flying Club in the late 1970s, j…
