This is probably a stupid question but I was wondering how you can get up 2d panels above shift+9? For example in the Panel CFG file of one plane I have it says "Window13=FMC" and I would like to know how to view the FMC. Thanks

I very recently bought the Wilco Harrier product through SimMarket for my FSX SE on my Win 10 PC. Everything is fine except for the fact that there is no HUD in any livery’s cockpit. It’s just plain missing. Adjusting the HUD brightness or “thickness” dials don’t do anything at all. I’ve literally clicked on every single clickable in the cockpit and nothing brings up the HUD including shift-1. Does anybody have any advice or solution please?

Hi, I am new here, and I come because of an advice of a Just Flight employee. The topic is the Avionic Master Switch. You can't switch the switch on or off with configured keys or buttons. You are just able to toggle it by mouse click. Furthermore you only get the switch clicked from the right seat perspective. This is really bad when you want to start in the cold and dark mode. So when configure a key on the keyboard or a button an the Yoke and press the configured button nothing happend, just the Ampermeter flickers a little bit for a millisecond when I press the key, like turning on the avionic, but it didn't turned on or off. Just double checking. This is supposedly the best freeware 747. Is there no VC with this plane? Seems to be minimal 2D panels only.

I tried it, it feels really fake. Im doing loopy loops and barrel rolls all the time, climbing with 6000fpm with 80% throttle, when i pull back on the pitch trim, it starts to backflip uncontrollably, Now in the cockpit: The engine gauges, i've never seen such engine gauges in a 747, i always remembered them to be round, not like this: The Flight Engineer panel is not even there, just some blurry texture. the 2d Flight Engineer panel doesn't look like a real one at all.... When it comes to landing the airbus I have no problem, it lands itself when I activate the approach button and the ils button and it lands automatically as if it was bewitched, but the rest of the planes don't have the ils button, so I activate the approach and yes, they approach the runway, but they don't automatically descend to it to land automatically. Since they don't have the ils button I don't know how I can make them descend to the runway automatically like the bewitched airbus. Can you explain to me how to make the boeing and all the ones that don't have the ils button descend to the runaway automatically?

On older big prop planes, do you actually get up to speed in a shorter distance if you hold the brakes, rev up the engines then let go of the brakes? If one does, it must be negligible cause I certainly don't notice it.

When ever I add scenery to the library, after I added and the sim accepts it, the bar beggins to run from the Left. It then stops at 15% for quite a long while before continuing all the way to the Right. the scenery is then added, I just wonder why it stops, is it looking for something, a path perhaps. I've checked and compared in the .cfg file in program data where ther .cfg file resides and the new scenery appears there.It's just odd it takes this pause of about a minute?Could it be a registry issue? Is there a weather radar that is integrated with default 737 MFD. Is see that the efis has a weather button but not active.

I have now been attempting for days to install, or maybe I should say fix Madeira Archipelago scenery for FSX from Toni Agramont, I have had it displaying well, but something went wrong and it now looks beyond awful Being aware that Toni passed some years ago i resort to the community members for assistance. Is there a chart or list of what FSX uses for a plane's altitude and distance reception limitations for NDB and VOR? I tune into a 75mile Class NDB while on the ground at a distance of 27 miles away and it does not receive a signal.

Is there away to modify this gauge as I need some space on a screen. I do not need comm2, nav2. I use 2d panels and have 4 monitor setup. I did take out the comm2, nav2 from the gauge in the panel.cfg by add // infront of the line. But now its black boxes so I do not safe space?

Ive actually had downloaded lots of liveries and actually used them but for some reason they sopped appearing so what should I do?

My DX9 setup is running well enough but more performance and VAS improvement is always welcome. I assume cloud shadows only show up on weather set with broken clouds? If its an overcast day of clouds, is the whole landscape 'additionally' darkened? This I don't want. Only VC shadows are added/improved, correct? Tree shadows for example are not corrected I assume.

My FSX\Addon Scenery \Scenery folder gone missing? My addon sceneries work though. I'm new with FSX. Trying to land in Hong Kong Intl., 25 left, with 747. Hong Kong airport officil data informs ILS 108.90, direction 253, but my plane always deviate to the right, quite off the runway. I tried with King Air and the same occurred... Any help here,besides telling me how to find an ILS localizer number and runway direction, please. I'm new, but 81 years old... Thank you.

Hi, can anyone help me with this problem I want to try and alter the ILS 05R HECA the default has no ILS but in the scenery updates it has, I always thought when you install the sceneries they automatically install tha new readings for the runways. please help me to get this right. If I enable ground shadows I get these strange squares on the runway grass or ground areas, anyone know why, or what they are supposed to be a shadow of?

I'm having a bit of bother with the garmin gps's. I appear to have 2 types. 1. The GPS500 where the 5th button in on the bottom row is marked 'terr' 2. The GNS530 that has the coms and nav display on the left and the 5th button in on the bottom row marked 'terr'. Most of the newer vids have units with the 5th button marked 'nav'. All I'm trying to do is set a destination then add a waypoint between both ends. I watched one vid that uses the gps500 and he says you cant add wp's. Most of the other vids using the newer 530 don't do what is explained when i try it on the one I use. Anyone any ideas?

Attempted to add a new FSX scenery, which I've done many times before. My FSX Scenery.cfg file got corrupted; all scenery in it vanished except for the one I was adding. I remember reading somewhere that if you delete the Scenery.cfg file, FSX will rebuild it. I tried that and it didn't work, the same corrupted file with only one entry showed up when I checked the Scenery Library. I'm deleting the Scenery.cfg file from C:Users\User\App Data\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX. What am I doing wrong? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Captain Tom
