Hi, I'm looking for Blade Slap sound gauge, that adds blade slapping sound to any Fsx heli. It was created by Stephan Siebertz in 2015 around, and uploaded in Hovercontrol that does not exist anymore. Does any of you have a copy somewhere? Thanks!

I have these weird mouse stutters/lag, every time I use PACX for FSX-SE (im still poor enough to only being able to fly fsx), it seems like every 3rd sec there is a mouse lag where the mouse becomes unresponsive for a certain amount of time. Has anyone had the same experience? or any fixes for such?

Something happened to my library when I went and tried to uncheck and disable some while I had a flight loaded, now it looks like this??? What happened and how do I fix it? Do I have to reinstall all my scenery again?

Any expayware that is now free aircraft of late , i have the Virtualcol and Flight1 cessna and the Aeroplane heaven .

Using flight planner in FSX, I can’t find a way to put in sids and stars. However, I use FSCommander, and in that, you can insert sids and stars into its flight planner. Apparently you can then save it into several things ,including FSX flight planner. Not sure if it fully does that. I have now found Honeywell FMC, which uses FSX flight planner! But, I can’t see the sids and stars used in the FMC. But that could be my limited understanding of the FMC!…. Has anyone used S and S in this Honeywell FMC, if so, where can I learn to do it? Thanks

I'm trying to enhance some of my aircraft with better ground roll sounds.. but I seem to be having trouble getting them to work. For example. I have the Flight1 BN-2 Islander which has a really nice ground roll sound (full of rattles and clanks). However when I copy and paste the [GROUND_ROLL] section of the sound.cfg file into other aircraft's sound.cfg, as well as moving the associated .wav file, I can't seem to get it to actually play in the sim. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks

For some years I ahve used VatSim and flown procedures. I took a few months break and when I tried to enter the LUVUM 1 SID none of the terminal fixes (or LUVUM) were visible on the map. Checked CAA SID and they are still used. I know they are not part of FSXSE data base; can anyone tell me where they come from so I can get them back, please? These are (for example EGBB) BBE** ; BBN** etc. Many thanks Mike

Hi folks: I recently bought a brand new HP Omen 25l with windows 11. I have a boxed set FSX and it keeps hanging up. I've tried a few installations. At first the InstallShield would start running but then hang. Then I tried installing to a different folder other than the default path. Now I can't get the installer to run. I get an error 1607 (unable to install InstallShield Scripting runtime) Can anybody give a non-computer guy some idea of how to get started. I'm very disappointed that these new computers never seem to run older software. Thanks, Bill

I have deleted FSX from my computer and when trying to reinstall it the CD keeps spinning and I never get the setup appl.

If I put the power any lower she wont climb at even 500fpm...the engine keeps blowing even though i seem to be well below limits as described in the manual...torque=38.2 CX100=586 Prop=19 RPM=92.1

Hi All, I’ve got a simulator test coming up in a Boeing 757 200 sim. I’ve downloaded the Quality wings 757 but the pitch power settings aren’t accurate. In the real aircraft, approx 1.18 EPR and 6 degrees nose up (clean) will give 220 knots. My sim requires 1.26 EPR with 4 degrees nose up to achieve 220 knots. I’ve tried different weights but nothing seems to make any diddference. Can anyone advise or help please? Or suggest a more accurate 757? Thanks Jon

I recently discovered FS-Recorder as an alternative to the squirrelly default of FSX. This one has some really nice features and works well. I write missions a lot and wanted to show multiple different aircraft landing at KHOU at 10 ninute intervals (real life). FS Recorder does the trick, BUT it saves files as frc extension, which is incompatible with FSX's "PlayFlightRecordingAction" using fsr files. Changing the extension doesn't work. Any ideas or advise are appreciated. I'll be!? Upon changing my default flight to starting at a gate in my default airport which is an addon to FSX my Taxi Arrows dissapear after a while in the same spot in the taxi way on the way to the active. I've tried suggestions I've found in the net, switching off DX10, which never gave me any problems. ut because of this I decided to give it a go,Mmmm, No go so I ticked it back again, the problem persists. Any suggestions? Berlopez

My aircraft Ident. labels boxes began showing on top left side front window and not on the panel, where they used to be? This is happening in Normal panel.

Hi, I have recently installed the RFScenerybuilding LSGG for FSX steam edition but when I load it up the scenery appears but it has weird black spots where the jetways or taxi way signs are but when I zoom out it is fine. Can anyone help me?

Hi all I have a full scale MD500e simulator with T shape instrument panel. I have HSI. VOR1 and ADF instruments plus I have a stand alone wet compass The HSI is centered in the middle of my instrument panel with the VOR1 and ADF bottom left I'm using the default FSX se radio panel. I want to keep the hsi, but as for the vor1 and adf which instrument should I keep I want to keep the sim more VFR than IFR Cheers Rhys

I just reinstalled FSX steam because some addons arent available in P3d V4...and it runs worse...I'm getting 18 FPS in FSX where I get 60 in P3D in the same situations...I have a new modern computer and I was expecting it to shred FSX...I'll post my specs if needed. Any ideas?

Is there a way to reduce the virtual cockpit to less than .3 in FSX in surround mode? It is impossible to see instruments and outside environment at .3 with three monitor setup in surround mode.

When I use the A220-100 It works fine but when I use the A220-300 I get an error message like visual model not displayed. This is on FSX steam can anyone help?
