i am using windows 11 64 bit and updated ( core i5 G15 with NVidia G-force RTX 3050) I Installed FSX and got error fs cannot run because the version on Microsoft direct x (r) installed on your computer incompatible. please reinstall direct x 9.0 by running fs setup or download the current version need all your help please, it is my first attempt to fly FSX

So I just finished making a Royal Air Philippines A320 livery for FSX, but there's one problem. While I'm done at almost everything, all I need to do is to paint the winglets in the wing texture. But the psd file has just 2 layers, the whole wing and the wireframe. You see, the details of the wings and the background of it supposed to be seperated, just like the master fuselage paint kit, but it isn't. Instead, the detail of the winglets and the background is just in a single layer. So I need anyone to find a A320 Paint Kit with the details of the winglets and the white paint in the winglets seperated. I'm sorry if my english and grammar is bad. Thanks!!

So I just finished repainting a AirSWIFT ATR 72 in both the left and right sides of the base psd file in the "Photoshop" folder, so I just had to move it to the fuse bmp file and done, but I noticed something. The bmp file is bigger than the base psd file. So I have to scale it in the correct size, which I can't. So can anyone help me pleaseee? Maybe try to find a fuselage bmp file where it's the same as the base psd file. Thanks!

Calling vets who could throw a few suggestions into the hat. Free or payware, what ships have the longest range? Civvies at the front of the queue. radials or inline. I'm visualising DC3's or maybe Ventura variants only because they're the ones I have already. I vaguely remember the DG dh98 has some legs as well. Any ideas?? PS this should be a FSXSE forum???

Ah, the age old question. I just installed FSX boxed on a new build which uses a i7-13700K CPU. My last processor was a i5-3570K, so the affinity mask setting was easy; 14. Now the new processor has 16 cores (8 performance and 8 efficient). It also has hyper-threading, which my old i5 didn't. I know one recommendation is to turn off Hyper-Threading, but since this machine will also be used for MSFS as well as Visual Studio, OBS, etc. I'm reluctant to do that unless there is a way to make it FSX specific. That leaves with with the big question of what do I set the Affinity Mask to within FSX and does it even matter anymore? I would appreciate any guidance. …

Don't know if anyone else has encountered this but with the Project Airbus A321, I can only open the cargo doors with the engines running and hitting Shift+D. This didn't happen when I was running the boxed FSX, only started doing this when I got FSX Steam. I think this is happening on several other aircraft too. Any suggestions? Many thanks!

I tried repairing this for around a week and no succes... The FMC has a red 0 in the scratchbox and the FMC buttons won't make any noise i don't know why. This problem suddenly apperead without installing anything. The manual said to install XMLTools 2 via the installer but it did not open so i did everything manually. A few weeks back everything was good and the plane worked just fine. I could not find a satisfactory set of altitude callouts for Airbus aircraft, mostly because the sound bits strongly varied in quality. So I chopped up , wrapped it in some XML code and basically made an altitude callout gauge for most, if not all, Airbus models. Had to un install FSX put it back in got flying a jet at FL 30 air speed 327 kts. ground speed 268 the thing is showing a 25 kit. tailwind?? Now I have no internet flying on FSX weather which is showing this tail wind. It happens with all of my aircraft?? Any ideas please let me know thanks

Hello everyone. I have been away from flight simulators for a long time. I finally bought FSX with acelleration pack and installed it. It is running just fine. The last flight sim I had downloaded a commercial passenger aircraft in the coca cola paint scheme and it flew just fine. I am looking for another aircraft in the coca cola livery I can download and install in my current flight simulator. It doesn't have to be a airliner but would be best if I can find one. Does anyone know where I can download a coca cola aircraft that will load and fly in flight sim X? Thanking you in advance.

So I'm almost finished making my livery for Saudia Retro B777 for POSKY B777, but there's a problem I kept seeing when making a livery. Why is the livery always blurry depending on your camera view? Like in the left/right side it's normal, but in the front/back it looks very blurry. Can anyone give me tips or what to do to make it not that blurry? I wish I could put the comparison image from my folder, but this forum only takes images from URL. I used paint.net to paint the planes, used DXTBMP to make it work in the game (I always put it DXT5) and I downloaded the paint kit from the official project opensky archive via wayback machine

But I'm still experiencing shimmering in the radio stack of the default Cessna 172 . How are you dealing with shimmering?

So I made the leap and got GSX and GSX L2. Installed fine, no issues. Took each of my Delta Air Lines aircraft and configured them all for the ground servicing and tested all 9 aircraft to make sure everything worked. Was amazed that I pulled it off. My one and ONLY issue is with my A350. During the passenger deboarding, the pax look like giant hot air balloons (see attachment) as they exit the aircraft. Once outside the aircraft on the airstairs, they are fine. This also happens when pax were using a jet bridge at any airport.
