Hi people, STEAM warning people that from 01 January, no more running on Win 7 and 8! Im ask if have a way to keep my FSX-SE running without steam client, because im still on Windows 7 and can´t update for a time this machine due other works.

Hi, i was wondering if anyone has experienced any limitations with aircraft that use auto trim systems, if so what are they?

Dear forum members, I have been facing an issue with my FSX with the QualityWings B787 aircraft, as well as other aircraft in the game. The pop-up windows are not opening when I try to access them using the shift key followed by the corresponding number, or by trying to open them from the view menu. I have already tried reinstalling FSX, but the problem still persists. I am seeking your help in resolving this issue. Could anyone please guide me on how to fix this issue with the pop-up windows in FSX? I would appreciate any advice or suggestions that you may have. Thank you very much.

Hi All, I hope I've posted this in the correct forum, apologies if I haven't. I have two Aircraft that came complete with GPS 530 included, the Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended and the Caranado Beech King Air B200, and one aircraft that hasn't, the RealAir Duke B60 which has the GPS 500. Is there any way I can port the GPS 530 across from the two that have it to the one that doesn't? Perhaps an alteration to the Panel .cfg file? As you probably realise I'm not great shakes at all this computer stuff, so be gentle please. I'm running FSX with Acceleration on Windows 7. Any ideas guys? mog

Anybody know a way to get gps nav to work on hjg 727-100/200 early models? I know they want total authenticity and won't provide any advice on how to make it work. I've tried but the only thing I could do was to get the stock gps gauge to work. Hitting the command ctrl + p doesn't work. I got it to work on their 707 models but not the 727s. Has to be some way.

Hi all I read a lot that anti-aliasing setting should be set to application controlled in the Nvidia setting, Should I then untick ant-aliasing in fsx and that filtering is the best Cheers Rhys

The left rudder key (default numpad 0), instead of turning the rudder, changes the view to the cockpit although the right rudder(default numpad enter) worked just fine. I assigned the left and right rudder to different keys and now the left rudder works but the right doesn't. I also tried resetting the controls to default but the problem persists. I don't have a joystick yet so I'm using keyboard and mouse. Any help would be appreciated 🙂

I am trying to make a flightplan. I am trying to use the MRAI Gen program, all is good but it generates a Zipped folder as to which I dont know what to do with it. Maybe the MRAI Gen is not suitable for FSX SE. If not, can anybody tell me a good program to use? Traffic Tools is for FS9 and 2002 only. I tried MRAI Flight plan installer but...again, its only made for FS 2002 or FS9. I'm out of options. Any help would be very much appreciated. Lee

Hi fellow simmers! Im posting here because I would like to know if anyone wants to make some buildings/landmarks for the FS Community. Default objects are ok if your not able to design them with textures. It would be a plus if you can. I have pics to show the object, let me know what you can do. Lee

Is it possible to stop textures from automatically changing seasons? Or maybe there's another way to accomplish what I want to do........I want fall textures year round except for winter. There's too much green in the spring/summer textures for me.

Why are a couple of my AI aircraft hovering a couple of feet in the air while parked and taxiing? How to address this?

I can replace the front seat pilot in fsx gliders but do not know how to put a copilot in the right hand seat of powered aircraft such as the aeroprakt A22 Foxbat ultralight.. Can anyone help please. Martin

What specific entries in the aircraft.cfg file or what record in the .air file do I need to adjust to tweak the tendency of a piston prop aircraft with a powerful engine to turn left while taxiing and during takeoff roll. I know the torque on roll and torque on yaw entries affect the left turning tendency during flight but what about on the ground? Editing the torque on roll and torque on yaw entries to not seem to affect the left turning tendency on the ground. Or is that something that is hard coded in the fsx physics engine? I am talking about the equal and opposite reaction to the torque of the engine turning the propeller that causes the body of the aircraft to w…

I have the FSX Gold Edition which comes with the Acceleration Disc I am loading up a new PC and when it comes to loading the Acceleration disc and starting FSX, it then asks for the product key and the only product key that i have is the one that i had to use on FSX flight sim which i used after the 2nd disc loaded up. Hi there, I have installed in Flight Sim X Acceleration, AI Tracker X after buying the Payware Software, And would like to do Formation flying, you can do this with this software. What I have been struggling with, is I want to fly a Avro Lancaster in Flight Sim X Acceleration, and I want a Spitfire and Hurricane to join with me in Mid Air. Has anyone else on this forum, installed that software and tried anything similar ? I.e. have any experience with using this software, and can help me achieve my goal with some good instructions ? Earlier I posted a message regarding Affinity Masks, but this one is a bit different. Currently I have FSX Boxed installed, but I'm thinking about moving to FSX:SE, which I also own. In talking with a user on Reddit one of my concerns have been address and that is if Flight1's SoundStream will work. I also have a few add-ons that must work before I consider a switch. Most notably Majestic Q400 and iFly 737. Among others GSX, Flightbeam airports, FSDreamTeam airports, etc. Do all of the above work in FSX:SE and any add-ons that you know that don't work just in case I also own them? Thanks, Ernie

Max Paperno, who is the maintainer of the MSFS Touch Portal Plugin has created a version for FSX users. It uses Simconnect version 10.0.61259.0, so I don't think it is compatible with FSX:SE, but you can try. Currently it is only available at this link, but he will posting it to GitHub in the near future. The paid version of Touch Portal which is required to run the plugin is currently $13.99 USD. There are multiple pages that can be used with it, but because many of them were written for MSFS, some may not work with FSX. Hi, I had to do a complete reinstall of both Windows 11 and FSX. After installing both PMDGs'777 and Quality Wings'787, I got the following error message. 777--200 $WINGLIGHT$FLAPSTCLLIGHT$CABINLIGHT$MLGHB777--300 $WINGLIGHT$CABINLIGHT$FLAPSTCLLIGHT$MLGHBx3 $FLOODAMBIENTI have run a repair and uninstalled/reinstalled both aircraft. I've had Rex for 10 days in which it's been working well. Yesterday I click the shortcut and nothing happens. I open task mgr and see Rex is running as a process but not an app? I've gone the usual route, did a repair from the installer, uninstalled, reinstalled but no change. Any suggestions will be appreciated. FSUIPC7 is installed.
