Hi, I'm aware that TFDi specify that Win10 is a minimum requirement to run their 717 in FSX MS. With that in mind, I'm just curious whether anyone has tried it in Win7? Did it work ok? Grateful for any response 🙂

It has been many months since I flew a "Flight Replicas Super Cub" on FSX. Today when I chose a FRSC and flew it the plane had ghosted, meaning the airframe had all but disappeared except for a faint outline. The pilot was still visible as was some parts of the cockpit, the wheels and prop, but that's all. How do I fix this?

Hello everybody, I recently got the great Just Flight Comet 4 (which I have not seen enough about) and I am trying to do a repaint for it. Trying. The problem is: there is no great way to go about this without a paint kit. In fact, there isn't even a blank livery. Sure, I could try to do it with an included livery, but that will be a painful process & will most likely not look good. If anyone can please help me out here by giving me a link to a paint kit or a blank livery (hell, even make one yourself), that will be appreciated. Thank you. (P.S. Help! I purchased the Carenado DA62, as it has fully updated navigraph compatibility (as a real G1000 operator, I can say it's harder to enter waypoints in this sim than the real thing). Essentially, it's painstaking to try and enter the waypoints into the Carenado G1000if there's more than a few of them, and the interraction with selecting deps/arrivals and waypoints is completely backwards compared to the real thing. Question - Is there any way to download a simbrief flight plan into it? - similar to how you would with an Aerosoft Airbus for example? I can't see any Carenado options in the export/download list? Hello, I would like to make a plane for FSX:SE. I have a basic knowledge of how this works. I have heard something about making a 3d mesh, modeling a cockpit, and then coding gauges. Also there is some stuff about SDKs and how some support different software and you have to install it or something. Can someone help with what software I need and maybe how to do this. Thanks

During the re-installation of FSX I pulled one of my FSUIPC.INI files from backup. There is a lua file referenced titled 'FSMFS9Payload'. It's not critical that I locate a copy, but it is that itch I want to scratch. I've looked in the scripts that come with FSUIPC as well as the support forum without luck. Also, I've installed just about everything aircraft or utility related that I thought might have contained it with the same results. Thanks, Ernie

When I activate FS Dreamteam O'hare and try to place my plane at a gate, C21 (UAL) all the gates at the airport are listed as GA with no indication of gate size???

I finally got around to rebuilding FSX after a couple years out of the hobby. Part of the process was installing all my payware aircraft. During flight testing I encounter the payware Just Flight C152. Absolutely horrendous visual performance. I've found it impossible to get a smooth scroll of the cockpit. Outside of the aircraft is fairly fluid, but inside it's move the POV, wait.. wait.. wait, for the view to catch up. I'm not sure if it's due to their 2048x 048 cockpit graphics or if one of my background apps is conflicting with it. Is that supposed to be this way? Both COM1 and COM2 are not lighting up, though NAVs do. Can't change the frequencies either. Resetting the plane fixes this, but it resets payload, so 😦 Teleporting to the other airfield also fixes this, but that requires playing with mission edit on. This happens in Denali Base Camp Charter. Anyone know what in the mission can cause this?

Hi! By default we have engine (1,2) fuel control switch open. How to do them cut is it posible?

I have found when using the default 737-800 2D and VC panel in other 737s (e.g. from POSKY), that although the panels will display fine and for the most part work, there is one thing which puzzles me - it is not possible to turn on the fuel switches either in the 2D or VC. Does anyone know whether there is a fix for this?Regards,Stuart

Hello everyone! My name is Fig. Ive been simming for a long while, but have never really gotten into the technical side of flight simulator. After finally being able to have a computer dedicated to running FSX, I have been having some trouble with certain planes. Many planes I have downloaded as add-ons have come from both the Avsim Library and Simviation. Most installations go smoothly and I have not had any real issues with them. But a select few have installed correctly, and only when I have selected a plane and loaded it, do I find out that it will not display correctly. I have done some reading and some googling about this missing…

Hi all I have the freeware MD500e Originally designed Peter Tamas Helicopter and updated for fsx. The issue is the weather is effecting engine start. In bad weather using the default weather themes I have to twist my throttle fully open for the engine to spool up which takes longer than usual to start. In fine weather engine spools up with normal throttle settings. Cheers Rhys
