Hardware/O.S: P.C. running Windows 7- 64 bit, FSX-SE. My proposed project is like many others I have reviewed on the 'net. I wish to free myself of the mouse when using the various GPS panels in FSX. Many projects I have seen both D.I.Y and commercially available claim to do the job (most using USB button/switch circuit boards.) I find info. on the 'net that seems to be contradictory. Good evening to all: Today I've added scenery, texture, weather generating, and traffic programs (ORBX FTX GLOBAL, FTX PNW, etc., REX4 Texture Direct, Active Sky Next and Ultimate Traffic 2) to my new Jetline Computer running Win7 64.. All installs have gone smoothly, and I've started FSX and flown a bit after I loaded each program. It was super! Then.... Hi. I bought it on the SimMarket website, the Panama City Airport (MPTO). Installed without problems. But when I fly over the airport, the scenery is distorted, with the runway and all the objects that make up the airport are below the ground. What could be happening? Thanks.

I am at a vice here. I am using FSUIPC 4.977 with FSX. I build a throttle quadrant with 2 fuel cut-off levers, below the throttle levers. My controller board is a Leo Bodnar BU0836X. I am using offset 66725, parameter 1 for lever 1 (on press) which start engine 1 and the lever on screen moves in the up position and start engine 1. But when I use offset 66725, parameter 2 for engine 2 it starts engine 1 and no movement on the engine 2 cut-off lever. So I delete the config of engine 2 fuel cut-off lever. Hello all, Just getting back into the flightsim again after a long hiatus away from the cockpit. I am using FSX as I can’t afford to upgrade my PC at the moment. I was wondering what people think of why a good portion of FSX payware products that are still around are priced quite high? I known most are priced lower compared to pre MSFS 2020 time, however to me it still seams on the high side. The only reason I can think of is that there are a bunch of people like me who can’t or won’t get MSFS2020. Hello all I have been attempting now for weeks ti reinstall this madeira scenery by mr. I can't figure out how to fine tune the adf radio in the DC3.Went to help center and I thought there was a tutorial on the DC3 radios.Could not find it.I can click and get it to change freqs but can't find a hotspot to dial in exact freq.Thanks,Ron

When I try to open my fsx it says: "Failed to start the process for Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition: The application has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect.Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxtrace.exe tool for more detail." Funny I never noticed this before but if I do a Shift M for battery there is no switch click. Use the mouse to toggle the battery switch instead and you get a click. This seems to be normal with FSX. Is there any confirmed way to have all regular lever, knob and switch activations make a sound when using keyboard shortcuts? I've tried using cockpitsounds_v2.zip, that works but it then adds a double click sound when using the mouse.

Hi all I am having a stutter at exact same spot in fsx. There are a number of spots in the fsx world where this happens It happens, for instance, when taking of from rwy 33 at the default Aspen airport. When immediately after taking off making a slight left turn, after a couple of seconds there's a stutter. It is always there, whichever plane is use and whatever settings I change in fsx or in Nvidia Inspector...is this something to do with the fsx engine, do other users experience this also and is there a fix? I'm having issues with textures and clouds throwing weird artifacts during play. Location doesn't seem to matter whether congested or not as far as scenery goes. I run a 3 monitor setup and tweaked FSX.cfg file per Word Not Allowed's guide. Quad core AMD with GeForce 1050 Ti Neither the CPU or GPU appear overly taxed while flying. Per Nvidia in game performance both operate around 60% with spikes into the 80's at times. Even sitting on the tarmac I can see the clouds throwing artifacts continuously as well as the ground textures appearing "swapped out" constantly. In the air, weird curtains and veils appear, water shows where it isn't supposed to be present…

I have an old but perfectly functional Samsung tab7 that I,m unable to sell on ebay for 20 quid. Is there anything practical I can use it for? I use fsx se, LNM, ASN, a saitek mfp and autopilot, and a ch quad. I also have a usb panel that i undock gauges to but it can get a bit crowded with windows overlaying one another. Any ideas?

Hi everyone so when I had just factory reset my PC and reinstalled FSX, but i get these weird glitches that I can't explain. For about the last year I have not been able to properly load any one of the four Carenado aircraft I have. TBM-850, Piper Malibu Meridian, Cessna Citation 525, Cessna Citation 560. The exterior views of all four aircraft are fine. The problems are with the interior. The panel, floors, walls, ceiling, passenger cabin (except for the windows and seats), are all transparent. The condition lever moves but won't stay up. The yoke does not push or pull, none of the clickable locations operate, and when trying to start, the engine burns up. I've tried un/reinstalling and that doesn't work, not getting much support from Carenado. I was just wodering if anyone else has experience…

I notice that the default B737 vertical nav bar in the pdf is missing when in nav mode only the horizontal is visible, it was there before. I switch to other default planes like Airbus321 and B747 and also find that the vertical nav bar is nav mode is missing. When i open the pfd in FS Panel Studio the vertical nav bar is showing

TONS of supposed 'solutions' but no causation reason or guaranteed correction process. Regardless of any fsx items this occurs with, is there any 100% verified uncompromising fix to repair a jumping/bouncing around on the airport grounds airplane? Thanks for any knowledgeable help.

Hi Everybody, running FSX Steam Edition. Preview DirectX 10 turned off. Running windows 7. NVIDIA graphics. The prop spinners on all the default aircraft that have them plus some freeware add-on aircraft stopped showing up with the chrome effect. Just shows up as a black spinner. haven't changed any settings for a long time and just notice it today. The rest of aircraft textures look ok. Opened up the aircraft in FSrepaint and the chrome textures show up in preview mode ok and the GlobalEnv_AC_Chrome.dds file is located in the FSX textures folder. Any ideas? Suggestions? There are quite a few high quality freeware planes out there: Tu-154B-2, Tu-134A-3, Tu-134, Tu-114 and Tu-144D Anyone know which is the closest to A2A quality? I guess a payware would be fine too but it for sure would need to be better than the freeware ones. Also would be nice if it had an English manual and translated VC labels? 🙂 Thanks.
