Hello. I was hoping someone might be able to provide some feedback on the Carenado vs Flight1 King Air. Other than one is a 200 and one is a 350, what are the differences in terms of quality, accurate flight dynamics, panel accuracy, etc., etc. I am looking to possibly get one or the other but not both so any feedback would be welcome. Good morning after i had to re-install my FSX simulator I do face following issues with the LevelD 767 and CS 777 (no such an issue with QW 787 and PMDG aircrafts) The indicated airspeed between knots and mach does not correspond with increasing the altitude. E.G Flight level 31000 i have mach .83 but knots are showing 488 As it worked correct before new istallation i have no idea where the issue is. Any idear or any same issues. I tried to get answer from CS-Support Forum but no answer Any support to solve this issue would be very much appreciated thanks werner

Hi i have FSX SE and i have 2D flat contrails. I have effect settings on high, I tried reinstall, I tried other contrails files but it don't appear the 3D contrails. Can someone help me to put in the game normal 3D contrails?

How to I hide some of defaults aircraft that I would never be using but not deleting more moving it somehwhere else because I heard that some add-ons still refer to these models. I tried the Panel.Off method offered in this forum but it is still there in the aircraft selection screen

I just realized that it is possible to make a backup of FSX-SE through the Steam site. Does anyone know if this backup includes the addon scenery that has been added to the simulator or is it just the basic FSX program? Seems like it would be silly not to include the addon scenery. What would be the point of doing a backup when you could just re-download the program and re-load the scenery yourself? Any information you could provide would be much appreciated! Thanks! Apparently the flight logging function in FSX-Steam has stopped. I had a flight from EGPK to BIKF crash because of Microsoft downloading a system update update during the flight. My next flight from BIKF to BGBW now only records 0.2h with out completion even though I completed the flight. I completed a round robin flight from KMWH to KMWH which also wasn't recorded. I'm thinking the log file is corrupted. Is is possible to rebuild it without losing all the hours? Ideas please. Jim Driskell

Hello everyone. I have just installed the FS Recorder v1.33 but after loading the sim in, there is no entry for FS recorder shown in the Add-on section. I tried to see the manual but no help. I have checked that all the path/s and the dll.xml file work normally. Any suggestion please? Thank you

Should libraries be all grouped together in the scenery order? Should they be on the top of the library list (Low number) or at the bottom of the list (High number)? Thanks!

I was away for quite awhile from FSX. I just recently start again. I previously in XP could do pan view in 2D panel. Now I have Win 10 and the 2D pan view does not work. I made changes (see red) but still now panning. I know there is simmers out there that can pan in 2D panel. The changes I made should allow me to pan in 2D panel. Hello everyone, Is it normal that when I play a record from FSRecorder, the AI aircraft lights doesn´t show at any moment, no strobes, no landing, no beacon? I have the lights section checked but it doesnt work, the aircraft doesnt have lights, and it would be very nice to see the plane in the dark , and not only using it during the day. Thank You

I am a host at an Aviation Heritage Centre and we have 4 Simulators that were donated to us by Australian Navy for use by our visitors. They were not working properly at the time. I have since got one up and running perfectly and have created Administrator and Guest Accounts. It's running MS FSX via Win 7 Pro. Since I can't get win 7 codes anywhere, I created a clone of the system and installed the clone onto the other 3 machines, FSX works perfectly in the Administrator Account on all 3 but when in the Guest Account I get "We are sorry, an unexpected error occurred which is preventing product activation from being completed. I am getting this message every time I start FSX Steam. It says that the Certificate has expired 12/18/21. I have to click "yes " or click "X" to start the Simulator. This started to occur just reciently after using FSX for many years. Using Google Chrome - Windows 10. Anyone else getting this message? Any auggestions?

Have been out of simming for over 2 years due to my work. Before that, I had downloaded the latest PMDG Queen of the Sky. I'm just now getting back into it and find that PMDG no longer appears to support FSX. The only plane they offer for FSX is the DC-6, the Queen is no longer showing on their web site(?) Now that I am doing longer flights with greater distances between waypoints I am noticing an annoying discrepancy between the GPS route shown on any flight plan I create (which I assume is based on great circles) and navigating from VOR to VOR. Since I tend to fly older aircraft without flight management gadgetry, most of my navigation is using NBD and VOR. So if there is more than, say, 50 miles or so between VORs, there is a significant variation between the route I would take to a given VOR on a given radial as opposed to the magenta line on the flight plan. After touchdown, the auto brakes engage and apply the right amount of braking, but they don't disengage when I brake manually or apply thrust. Any suggestions? I am using the default 737-800.

I just did an FSX Reset to repair some issues. I re-installed SP1 and Acceleration, and it's working fine now. However, I noticed that when I look at my Scenery Library, the Priority numbers have (in most cases) flipped. In other words, what should be the lowest priority ( like Edwards AFB, etc) are now at priority #1. I know I can fix this by selecting "move down" but that is going to take hours and I'm wondering if anyone knows a Quicker way to do this? I looked at the edit function, but I don't think it will effect the priority. I'm thinking like in File Explorer where you can use the CTRL key or even the Shift key to select several files at once. Many years ago I installed a Funter Bay scenery. I saw this freeware scenery Snow Dog Tours Version 2, which has a lot of Sea bases airport updates to scenery. Funter Bay is one of these seabases… I have followed the installation instructions, but when I go to the Scenery settings, I don’t see the two scenery areas listed in HTML instructions It seems like a partial install. I have the exact same problem. I use Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo controls. All been working fine for the past 4 months and now these same 'increment errors' as stated here - in 1000ft and 10 degree increments, rather than 100ft and 1 degree increments. So annoying! I note on my Bravo Throttle Quadrant that buttons 25 & 28 are on all the time, yet I have NO MAPPING of these 'invisible' pushbuttons anywhere. I get the feeling they are assigned for reverse thrust, if I had the four levers plugged in. But as I say, it's all been working perfectly fine until the last week :-(
